“Don't judge a book by its cover, lesson for me today. When I walked in, I thought I was in a place that was maybe going out of business. The deli counter didn't have the usual display of foods, cold salads etc, you see in a deli. The chest freezer was basically empty. A friendly guy took my order for a grilled chicken salad and I had low expectations. A friendly lady chatted with me and rang up the order. It's actually a BEAUTIFUL salad with gorgeous fresh ingredients, very high quality, perfect portion size for 1 person. At under $10 it's a great deal. I shouldn't have been so quick to judge by appearance!“

There’s hot and cold beverage options such as iced coffee, smoothies - as well as bottled/can options like soda and tea. Portion is adequate and there are counter seatings along perimeter of store.Call out is there is only 1 table available for seating so you have to bet on having that 1 table being available when you come in.“

“For one, this is a great sandwich place. It is usually crowded. When there is construction around here, all the construction workers come. I have just found the Jibarito sandwich on their menu and Oh My Goodness, it is friggin delicious! You can have steak, chicken, fish, and eggplant. I live for the steak sandwich. You have the option of having it on a hero roll or fried plantain. Fried plantain every day all day! It comes with stuff so you can have it made to order foe extra or to take away. French music is playing inside adding to the charm of this eatery. I removed one star for two reasons....all of the supply boxes sitting within eyeshot of customers was a bit off putting. Kudos to the owner for having hand sanitizer but perhaps not such a large unattractive dispenser would be more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.“

I have a gluten sensitivity and was impressed by the way the guy handled the bread, used a separate knife, made sure the surface was clean before making my sub. And everyone during that shift pitched in - from getting the extra mayo to helping wipe down a counter-top - It's the small things and the teamwork that really make a difference when you patronize a place. I feel horrible that they have to deal with uneducated ghetto ppl that disrespect, abuse & take advantage of the staff. My go to sandwich is the Original Italian Mike's Way. Loaded with Italian meats and packed with flavor, this sub will always be one of my favorites! For this specific location, I usually order online from the website and pick up. I haven't had any issues, the orders have been correct and ready on time. When I arrived, there was a group of tourists ahead of me, and the staff did a great job and addressing everyone's needs and orders. When the gentleman who is preparing the sandwiches, noticed that there were a lot of people, he called for back up send problem solved very well. He was very hospitable and accommodating.Both he and his coworker alternated between one of the group members and the people who were on the line so that everyone didn't have to wait too long.
