“This place is a welcome oasis when you're looking for something fresh to eat at the mall. They make pretty awesome salads because they have such a massive variety of different lettuces and vegetables to top with but the falafel sandwich is the BEST thing on the menu, in my opinion. The falafels are fried and not baked so that's a downer but it's so worth it because they're moist and seasoned just right. Also the portions at this place are really big. One salad can feed two people and one falafel sandwich without any sides will definitely fill up a grown man. (I'm a woman but I eat like a man, so I feel qualified to make that statement ) I like to order from here when I'm doing projects at home and I don't feel like stopping to make lunch.“
“We are so incredibly lucky to live less than a 10min walk from West Passyunk to Stina. The food, staff and space are a perfectly balanced blend with so much love, care and attention to detail put into each dish. Order everything… Stina forever! 5⭐️“
“We decided to try something new for dinner, we didn't have a reservation which is recommended on a Friday but they were nice enough to accommodate us. The restaurant was lively, friendly and the service was great they were attentive. I've never had Lebanese food but the server explained the tasting menu. Everything was fresh and good, if you like Mediterranean food I'm certain this place is for you. It was a good gastronomic experience. If you are in Collingwood it's a must try.“
“My wife and I came here before a musical at the Kimmel center. She decided on it based off of good reviews found on Google and Yelp. We were not disappointed! Parking was a little tough but it didn’t take long to find a close spot. The neighborhood looked decent, unlike most other areas of the city where I feel like my car will be broken into for spare change. The lattes were delicious. They came to us hot, which can be hard to find surprisingly. I ordered the Shawarma, which came with steak, rice, pita, sweet potato fries, and scrambled eggs. She ordered the Entrecôte omelet. The potatoes were amazing. We also split an order of the Baklawa pancakes. Everything was delicious. The avocado tartar spread on my plate went so well with the rice and eggs. We would definitely like to come back here!“
“Food... Amazing!! Service... Fantastic!! Atmosphere... Cozy!!I highly recommend this restaurant. I enjoy the delicious food (especially the Salmon Freekah Salad and Pistachio Sticky Bun) and the Brown Butter Artichoke Borekas are everything!!! After a year of coming here, I've tried nearly everything on the menu ? Owner, Chef Mike Solomonov is incredibly generous!!!“
“As season ticket holders at the Walnut Street Theater, we found this adorable restaurant looking for a place to grab a bite before shows. We've been here before every show this season, as the food is phenomenal, the owners are the nicest, and the service is top-notch. Plus, subscribers get 20% off! Turkish cuisine is my new favorite!“
“Came here at 8:30 on a Friday night with my family and the place was surprisingly empty. Ahmed, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and prompt service. He gave us several recommendations (we ordered them all) and every dish was great. We got the branzino, the lamb chops, the half grilled chicken, hummusand mishwia. While every dish was truly tasty, my two favorites were the branzino and mishwia. I told Ahmed it was my parents anniversary and he gave us tea and baklava on the house. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone. The food, the hospitality, and the service is top notch.“
“I went there for Iftar with my friend, and we happened to arrive at the buffet time in Ramadan. The buffet was $50 a person and the food was delicious and there were different Egyptian dishes. Like Béchamel pasta, grape leaves rolls, etc. Overall, I liked the experience and I might come back again.“
“Everything is perfect. Foods delicious, servers are kind, atmosphere is beautiful. If you want to try Turkish cuisine, you should try here. I had mixed grill. Lamb sish and chicken sish were so soft and juicy. Rice was really good with döner. As a starter Arnavut ciğeri, ezme and cheese rolls were amazing. For desert I can definitely recommend Kunefe. You won’t regret.“
“Honestly brilliant. It's been a minute since I've had really good Mediterranean food.I did not have high expectations but was honestly impressed. Myself and my friend both said we would rate the meal 4-4.7 range.Appetizers- Hummus: Above average good.- Tzatziki: Wish I could bathe in it. Wanted to put it on everything. It was probably my favorite of the night.- Halloumi: Served warm and we were told to eat it first. I could have eaten twenty of these.- Pita bread kept coming and was perfect.Main- Opted for the sea bass and it did not disappoint. The plate was half salad that I didn't care for but the fish was savory and juicy.- My friend got the falafel and I'd highly recommend it, especially for a first time.We did not order dessert but they brought complimentary baklava at the end anyway which was so nice!! It was very good even if it isn't my favorite dessert.Had a lovely experience and I would make the effort to return again!“
“ZAHAV was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding all around and the service was on point. We had been trying to get a reservation for 2 years to get in and finally were able to. The ambience and location is also great as well! The highlight of our night aside from the entire experience was meeting Michael Solomonov and being able to just have a conversation for 10 minutes. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone and plan to return again in the future. We chose the lamb shoulder and it was great.“
“Decided to go here last minute on a Friday night. Walked in and immediately felt like family. We were greeter by the owner, Luis and chatted with other guests while he was getting our table ready. I had the pork chop with finding potatoes and asparagus and my husband had short ribs with carrots and Farro. Food was beyond excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection. Dessert was also amazing. Can't wait to go back!“
“Enjoyed a delicious lunch here! The food was very fresh and flavorful, and there were so many options. We were very excited to see so many vegan options, and are excited to bring some family that is vegan for a meal when they are in town visiting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the selection of Turkish beverages, too! Already looking forward to our next visit!“
“Probably some of the best service I've received at a restaurant! The owner checked in a few times and showed us his joint business of a hookah lounge upstairs. We also learned about Ramiz's history and how it's a chain. This location is the first one established in the US. We received complimentary mix appetizer plate of dips and tea! Karişik Soğuk Meze / Mix Appetizer Plate- Hummus, baba ghanoush, labneh, and spicy vegetable dip THE SPICY VEGETABLE DIP IS INCREDIBLE! MUST TRY! Turkish meatballs - insanely moist and delicious! Would highly recommend! Chicken Adana wrap - could have used more meat in it and the fries were lacking salt but that's easily fixable! Sütlaç -the oven baked pudding was good The table cloth on the tables kept moving which was a bit frustrating, not sure what other restaurants do to hold it down. Menu has so many options, something for everyone. Bringing your family or a big friend group is a good idea!“
“We had their chef tasting and wine pairings and were absolutely delighted. A lot of good fine dining food. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Obviously recommend everything we had. Have to go back, want to try their duck wings. Side dishes are phenomenal. We had the opportunity to get both the lamb shank and whole fish. Lots of light and fresh vibrant food with some richness and meatiness added in. If you can afford to pull from your wallet, this is definitely the place.“
“As you walk up to the front door you can smell the food cooking on the grill and it draws you in. Everything is fresh, made to order, tastes, smells, and looks incredible. The owner is very friendly and hospitable. I had the chicken kebab platter and I loved it. The desserts look almost too good to eat.“
“Yes, yes, yes! I have come here twice now and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. You can really tell how much care/time is put into the food. From the sides to mains, everything is a 10/10. The service is impeccable as well. You will not be disappointed. This is by far one of the best Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurants in the city. Portions are also huge. PS don't skip on the homemade hot sauce, it's SO GOOD. You will not have a bad meal here.“
“My friend and I came here for lunch, and neither one of us had ever been here before. The block that this restaurant is in is not the fanciest on Samson Street but don’t let it deter you from trying this restaurant. If you’re looking for something different with a Middle Eastern flavor, you have to try this restaurant. the price is right and the food is taste fresh with clean ingredients. Unfortunately, I took no pictures but I had the steam dumplings and my luncheon partner had a wrap that she raved about.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps into the restaurant.“
“Estia is an unbelievably great experience! Our server, Saki and the rest of the staff were beyond helpful and accommodating. We took our daughter and a friend to celebrate her graduation and were very pleasantly pleased from stepping in the restaurant to leaving. Saki, took the time to connect with each of us providing friendship and guidance on how to enjoy their restaurant and our experience to the maximum extent. Make a reservation and then go tuck into great food and a life experience you will not forget.“
“Very good restaurant but it feels like they're still working out the kinks. Service was friendly but a little haphazard. Food was delicious but a little pricey and not the best presentation. Not quite up there with the best but still highly recommended.“
“It's been a long time since I've been to Sapori and definitely regretting not coming back sooner. The food was outstanding, from the bread and olive oil, to the fresh calamari, main, and dessert. Everything was great in terms of service and the waiter was attentive and charismatic. Heated patio was excellent and everything was reasonably priced. Will definitely be back soon.“
“THIS is the place to be.What a wonderfully warm and friendly atmosphere, from the hostess to the servers to the other guests. Cute decor with a lot of tables that are in close proximity to one another.THIS is the place to eat.OHHH-EMMM-GEEE the food is incredibly delicious. The portions are generous. The menu selections are great and it’s difficult to choose - and then they have daily specials, which makes it even harder because you want to try it ALL!CASH only- no cards accepted.BYOB and the staff will gladly provide the appropriate glassware.Scannicchio’s is a family place…..the employees are all family and when you’re there you feel like family. MY family, we LOVE Scannicchio’s! It’s our family tradition. La mia famiglia. Mangia bene.Parking: Parking is where we you find a spot! Usually a spot can be found on Broad Street.“
“High quality Lebanese style Mediterranean food at an amazing price. We opted for the Mediterranean platter-a sampler of creamy, lemony hummus, smoky baba ganoush, an eggplant salad and some pickled items. Nothing totally remarkable, but reliably deliciously flavored and good portions. One of us got the beef shawarma sandwich and reported it to the best one ever tasted, especially the Lebanese style with pickles and French fries added in! The service on an early Saturday night was a little slow, but the food was hot when it came and worth the wait. Top it off with the baklava, it’s worth the calories, with just the right amount of honey that squishes out of the pastry when you bite down.Vegetarian options: Fava bean appetizer, along with many other veg options, felafel, veg platterDietary restrictions: They were great about nut allergies and there were plenty of options for veg.“
“We were looking for a place to eatthat had good reviews and noticed that family Mediterranean cuisine was over 4 1/2 stars we give it a five especially Connie our server who made the experience fabulous and an A+ lentil soup was excellent. Their bread was to die for, and our platters the chicken souvlaki and the liver appetizer were excellent. Dessert was nothing less than spectacular Homemade Turkish ice cream with pistachio huts The Turkish, sweet, shredded wheat like dessert nuts and a cup of Turkish coffee. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Connie and SalSincerely, Pete and AJ“
“"Small plates" that actually aren't so small, small menu but which is expansive in flavors, and perfectly curated drink menu. Staff were welcoming and charming. When you dine here before dark, the sunlight beautifully illuminates this window-filled intimate space--such a lovely feeling. We particularly enjoyed the eggplant stewed in spicy tomatoes served with g thick cut toasted sourdough bread, the slow-cooked cod with fancy beans, and the grilled squash with brown butter--that sauce was a spiritual experience!“
“Admittedly it wasn't too busy when we ate here hard to judge the noise level. That said, we have been here before and it's a nice neighborhood byob restaurant with delicious Turkish food. The mezza plate was perfect to share between 4 and the calamari was the best, tender and crispy with a delicious dipping sauce. We all had varying kebabs, all were moist and flavorful as were the chicken thighs. Finished off with some Turkish coffee and baklava and we were more than satisfied. Even though it is a byob it was still reasonably priced.“
“Had a slice n a cheese steakfood came out fastSlice wasn't heated up n cheese steak very basic roll n meat average n seemed not heated either, most strange bc came out very fasthuge selection of ready pies/slices on display..( Just specify you want Hot food ) if u gobe best to go early in day for slices so not dried up and or order a fresh pie or I'm assuming plain slices get replenished thru out dayPretty lady bartender was friendly and acts as waitress It looked clean n prices average for center city and it's a sports bar too“
“Quite possibly the greatest and authentic Greek gyro I have ever tasted. The owners are very hardworking and respectful people. The workers give a great service and lovely attitude. A very great place to stop by when you are in the city looking for a place to fill your belly.“
“What a really great spot. We came for a work dinner, not knowing what to expect, and it could not have been a nicer evening. The food was fantastic, from the very first appetizer to the delicious dessert cups at the end. The service was even better. The people were really lovely and the ambiance was warm and intimate. Perfect night. Thank you!“
“I’ve been a fan of Fevzi’s Cherry Hill and the previous Camden location so I’ve been anticipating the opening of this new one and it did not disappoint. The inside is beautifully decorated and there’s plenty of seating. The food as always was great and fresh, the service was excellent as well. They have many more food options you won’t find at the Cherry Hill location. it is a very convenient spot for students like myself to come from the Rutgers campus and grab a healthy and filling meal. will come back again.“
“The Lemonana (9/10) Shish Kabob Sandwich (7/10) I loved the Lemonana so much that I got it twice! Keep in mind that it is not for everyone (my friend did not like it), so if you don't like lemon, mint, and sugar then it may not be for you. The Shish Kabob Sandwich was perfectly balanced with the met the vegetable ratio, but didn't taste super special (still really good though). Overall, the staff was really friendly and efficient with their orders.“
“Good ambience and the food is just decent, not the best. The price is slightly on the expensive side too. Desserts (baklava and Namoura) didn't feel freshly made as they were on the harder side of consistency. Spicy garlic fries were great!“
“Our second time here and it's absolutely outstanding!!! The food is delicious. Delightful flavors, perfectly cooked. Try the whole fish and the roasted chicken! Eggplant side is to die for! Everything rocks and Rasheed is the most gracious host.“
“The best sujukh in USA. And very delicious lahmajun which is one of two productions available on the East coast, for the residents of NJ and NY.The life is becoming expensive, the prices are going up everywhere. So the box of dozen became 10. That's ok, that's understandable. But ... don't downsize and don't skimp on the meat.“
“This cool vibe place is friendly, and well staffed with an open style kitchen. Creative menu with ingredients applied tactfully with an appropriate touch. Smaller plates are perfect portions and served at an enjoyable pace.Def worth stopping in.“
“Amazing food and polite staff, and a really lively atmosphere. I had a great hangover chicken and waffles (which was personally enjoyably much sweeter than usual at other restaurants, but you do get self serve syrup). However, I think choosing this dish over others here would be doing the restaurant a disservice. It was obvious that with only like three sweet dishes, you should just get their actual food.I’ll be back if I’m in town.“
“Let me just say this… I rarely leave reviews but I felt like I had to.I had a selfcare day & decided to stop here for a late lunch. When I walked In, the ambience was very beautiful, quiet & a pleasant smell was in the air. I was greeted by the hostess & was sat immediately. My waitress was a young man name “Kalid” (i sincerely apologize If I spelled it wrong). I stated to him this was my first time there & he gave me suggestions, helped me pick out my appetizer and entree. For my appetizer, I ordered the ground beef flatbread, very good. For my entree I ordered the lamb kebab and the side of mash potatoes. The presentation of the meal was beautiful! Very colorful & the lamb chops were tender. Unfortunately, there was a string of hair in my mash potatoes. I kindly pulled one of the waitress to the side & requested to just pay for my flatbread & drink. They did offer to make me a new meal but I kindly declined. The young man Kalid & was very apologetic & kind! He offered me a new meal, desert, and was trying to do everything he could to make my experience better for me *being this was my first time*. Off his sympathy alone & the atmosphere of the place, I will come back. I do believe things happen & that’s ok. He was one of the best servers I’ve ever had & actually cared about my feelings in that situation. I’ll be back just for him! Please double check food (kitchen/customer). Thanks again!“
“Hands down The Absolute BEST Taste of Italy ?? without having to travel abroad that my wife and I have ever had. Thank you so much Nick, and to all who contributed in making our experience that much more memorable. We most definitely will be back again!“
“Super pleased with this dining experience. Very friendly people who care. Prices are low considering the fresh food. We had the tasty hummus and the Mediterranean chicken salad which was delicious and plentiful. Easy to customize the salad with ingredients you want. Good meals for 2 people under $20.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options.“
“Irwin’s is an Italian restaurant located inside Bok Building, which was an old school revitalized as an artsy complex space. From the school desks to the chairs, the vintage furnishings of Irwin’s give a nostalgic vibe.*Shallot and Thyme Focaccia **They change the housemade foccacia flavor regularly. Glad that we got to try the shallot and thyme one. The bread dough was pillowy with a shiny brown surface, while not feeling oily at all. The sweetness from the caramelized shallot and the herby fragrance from thyme made a harmonious flavor duet.*1/2 Agrodolce Chicken**SERIOUSLY how could they make the chicken (even the chicken breast!) so tender and juicy? Also can we talk about the gremolata? It was fantastic as a dish itself, and add extra textures and tangy flavors if you spread it over the meat.*Trofie (half)We know their carbs wouldn’t be as amazing as their proteins but we still wanted to try. The pasta was cooked to al dente. The mushroom truffle flavor was exactly what you could easily imagine. Nothing mindblowing here.*Milk & Honey GelatoWe picked this right away because I saw it had “pistachio”. The honey was very sweet, but premium in flavor. My cravings was fully satisfied as they didn’t skimp on the crushed pistachios on top. Lowkey wished that the gelato melted a bit slower.“
“Such a great meal. Got the baba ghanoush and hummus combo-hummus special was roasted onion-both were delicious. Had the cream of broccoli soup (soup of the day) probably the best cream of broccoli I've had. Girlfriend got the salmon over orzo-Oh Em Gee fab. I got the lamb shank-flavorful and fell right off the bone-i was in heaven. Owner was a hoot all night-really friendly and actually cared about his guest. We'll be back!“
“Some of the nicest people around and all the food I have ever had from here has been really good. The prices are fair especially considering its location. Things can be extra expensive in this area just because but not this placeParking: Metered spots available and a couple of loading zones near by“
“Come hungry, leave with delicious leftovers for days. Food is always delicious, service is impeccable and atmosphere is top notch!Got married here, everything was phenomenal! Just had a 50th birthday for my hubby. They did a wonderful job keeping everything discreet for the surprise. Can't say enough good things about this place!“
