“I tried takeout from Lovin' Today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never tried vegan chorizo before, so I was kind of worried about whether I'd like it or not. It actually still had the same kind of spice of regular chorizo. To be honest, I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference between this vegan chorizo and regular chorizo. And they gave a lot of it in the taco as well, so I was happy with that. I also got brown rice as a side. It was a hearty portion size of rice. I got vegan naan bread, which tasted delicious and exactly like regular naan bread. I also loved that they sealed the boxes with tape with a drawn heart on it. It's a small detail, but it shows there was care put into putting my meal together. Overall, i was happy with my meal, and I would definitely order from them again.“

I got their special fried chicken sandwich - almost like a Katsu fried chicken. Juicy and moist chicken. Avocado, slightly spicy peppers with this great bacon aioli which was amazing. Only complaint is that for a $15 sandwich there is no side. The burgers come with fries, which were cooked perfectly. One of my biggest surprises is this pancake house has a bar!The biggest negatives are, prepare for a wait to be seated and there's no other way to say this but parking is horrible! The good news is they have a lot and it's free. The bad news is it's always full and cars are jockeying for position waiting for you to come out. Don't try parking around the corner because it's only for residents and they have signs and cones to let you know you aren't welcomed. The great news is if you are willing to walk south just a short block there's street parking. It's not a big deal for city dwellers but suburbanites might whine about it especially if it is raining.“

I ordered the Five Spice Roasted Pork Banh Mi. Don't get me wrong, the pork is very well seasoned/marinated and tender. Unfortunately, the baguette here is too soft, and the oil from the pork does seep through. The key to a good banh mi is the baguette - light on the inside with a thin and crispy crust. You'll know the baguette is good when the roof of your mouth gets destroyed by the time you finish it.“
