“I had a really great experience visiting Egypt Oasis today with my two children. The staff was so friendly and attentive. And the owner Mo introduced himself and was clearly passionate about his business. I was waiting on by Ella and she spent the time talking to my son about his sports. The business is very clean and they have so many selections. We all had the rolled ice cream but I noticed people in the store getting boba tea. There is much variety to choose from in a really cool atmosphere with cards at the tables. We will definitely be back!!“

“I visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.

I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.

“The ice cream here is excellent! The boba however needs some improvement. I’ve had it a few times months apart thinking it would be different, but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case. The tapioca isn’t soft enough meaning it’s not chewy throughout, so it has a bit of a bite to it. Also, the boba is always mostly ice.“

“This place has amazing fro yo and is a very safe place to go during this pandemic. You order online and within minutes they deliver your yogurt to your car, taking proper precautions. They give your toppings and yogurt seperatly so you could mix and match anything!“

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. “An old fashioned ice cream spot with tables to sit at and enjoy a nice treat. They have an excellent small vanilla shake and they don't skimp on the whipped cream. It costs about $5 and the sizing is more equivalent to a medium. All of the ice cream tastes fresh. Although prices are higher than we are used to, the quality is worth the cost. They have parking on each side and if you want to sit and rest on a bench near a tree nearby they have that option. They could benefit from some nice planters in the front. I will be back for their excellent shakes during the summer.“

“The ice cream and Italian ice taste the same at this location as every other location, which is good. The problem is the selection. I was just at a Ritas in Pennsylvania and they had at least 8 different soft serve ice cream flavors, including cake batter and pistachio among others. This location always only has vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Pistachio is my favorite and I got that when I was in Pennsylvania. I also noticed the other Pennsylvania location had more Italian ice flavors as well.“

It tasted and was prepared fine, but it looked like the store didn't have the pearls that were used in the sample because they improvised with frosting. Though I commend the staff for figuring something out, it's a little nuts for DQ to charge $35 for their smallest size cake and not provide the employees with the supplies to make it as its described.Other than that, the place was clean and the employee I spoke to was nice.

Parking: The store is inside a strip mall and when I went at 12pm on a Saturday, there was plenty of parking.“

I stopped in for a quick bite and ended up having some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The barbacoa tacos were incredible—super tender, flavorful, and packed with just the right amount of spice. You can tell the meat was slow-cooked with care. The tortillas were fresh and warm, and everything was topped off with fresh cilantro and onions, just how I like it.

The service was friendly and fast, and the whole place had a great vibe—laid-back but clean and welcoming. If you’re anywhere near this spot and love tacos, do yourself a favor and try the barbacoa. I’ll definitely be back!“
