“We had 3 sets of 3 scoops. 3 different people with 3 very different tastes in ice cream. 9 different flavors. They were all wonderful and exciting. This is not your ordinary ice cream shop but please do not let that deter you from trying them out. Just expect to be a bit adventurous and go for it. They are a small batch artisan style shop with many unique flavors to try. We also grabbed 4 pints of other flavors to take home and try. The owner was awesome, explained all of the flavors and offered samples. The inside was very cute with a good amount of seating for an ice cream shop. Please go and try them out because this is the type of place that would be truly missed by anyone that has visited.“

“We always have the BEST experience at Fresh Tiki Bar! Every time we go, the place feels bright, cheerful, and so welcoming. It’s the kind of spot that instantly puts you in a good mood.

Everything we’ve tried has been absolutely delicious and so creatively presented. You can tell they really care about making each treat fun and special. My son is completely obsessed with their waffle wands and never wants to put his down. It’s safe to say this has become our favorite treat stop!

“The most flavorful hard ice cream! The Dark Chocolate Raspberry Truffle? ::chef's kiss:: We mixed it with the cappuccino (great coffee flavor!) and my non-sweet-eating husband ate his half. The kids had a handful of very colorful chocolate dipped waffle cones to choose from and enjoyed their delicious colorbomb on the bench outside. They got the crazy vanilla (because rainbows are fun to eat!) and it was not only pretty but also had a really nice vanilla flavor. We'll definitely be going out of our way for this stop again! Also, special thanks to the counter staff for being extra patient with us.“

“Jason is honestly one of the main reasons going to Rita’s Ice is such a good experience. From the second you walk up, he’s friendly in a way that doesn’t feel forced or fake—he actually seems like he enjoys being there and talking to customers. What really stands out is how helpful he is. If you’re not sure what flavor to get, he’ll give suggestions or let you try samples without making you feel like you’re being annoying. “Ice cream - both hard & soft-serve, ice pops, and other frozen treats with all the trimmings and toppings. They also have an eclectic mix of candies and toys, plus a few trinkets and gift items. Prices are comparably reasonable. Located right on Hamilton Street with plenty of on site parking. The service is outside (thru windows), so they're not always open on the colder days. But it's a great place to hang out on one of the benches when the sun is warm. It feels good supporting local business, too.“

“I visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.

I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.

While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.“

“An old fashioned ice cream spot with tables to sit at and enjoy a nice treat. They have an excellent small vanilla shake and they don't skimp on the whipped cream. It costs about $5 and the sizing is more equivalent to a medium. All of the ice cream tastes fresh. Although prices are higher than we are used to, the quality is worth the cost. They have parking on each side and if you want to sit and rest on a bench near a tree nearby they have that option. They could benefit from some nice planters in the front. I will be back for their excellent shakes during the summer.“

“The ice cream and Italian ice taste the same at this location as every other location, which is good. The problem is the selection. I was just at a Ritas in Pennsylvania and they had at least 8 different soft serve ice cream flavors, including cake batter and pistachio among others. This location always only has vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Pistachio is my favorite and I got that when I was in Pennsylvania. I also noticed the other Pennsylvania location had more Italian ice flavors as well.“

Service is quick and friendly — great for a casual stop with kids or friends. Just one heads-up: the Italian ice melts very quickly — mine turned into sugary water in no time. Still, overall a nice experience — just eat fast.“

I had the pistachio latte and it was fantastic balanced, nutty, and not overly sweet.

“We recently had my daughter’s soccer team lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. I spoke with the manager on duty the evening prior and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We had the whole top floor to ourselves. Service was amazing as was the food. We sometimes have issues splitting checks because the girls want to sit together away from their parents but they handled it with ease. I’m still dreaming of the delicious ice cream that was the cherry on top of a great experience.“

“Visited Kwality Ice Cream and had a really great experience! The Badshahi Kulfi Falooda was the standout — rich, creamy, refreshing, and full of authentic flavors. The pani puri was also super tasty with crispy puris and a perfect spicy-tangy pani. The paan was fresh and made for a nice finish.

Special mention to Madhuram, the owner, for the warm hospitality and friendly service that made the visit even better.

Tip: ask them to mix Pudina and Khata Meetha pani with a little black salt — it takes the taste to another level! Also, if you prefer better flavor, request room temperature pani instead of very cold :)

I stopped in for a quick bite and ended up having some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. The barbacoa tacos were incredible—super tender, flavorful, and packed with just the right amount of spice. You can tell the meat was slow-cooked with care. The tortillas were fresh and warm, and everything was topped off with fresh cilantro and onions, just how I like it.

The service was friendly and fast, and the whole place had a great vibe—laid-back but clean and welcoming. If you’re anywhere near this spot and love tacos, do yourself a favor and try the barbacoa. I’ll definitely be back!“
