“Service is always great. The wait can be pretty long sometimes but the food is as great as the previous location I’ve always been to in edgewater! I was surprised that it taste exactly the same. Food is always out on the tables pretty quick. 10/10“

I will update this with her name eventually but if you're seated with the waitress who has short dark hair you're in for a real treat. She consistently knocks it out the park and makes the experience! “We were staying nearby at the Heldrich Hotel and were looking for a place to have breakfast where there might be some gluten free options. SOL-KALANIT’S was the perfect solution. My wife had tacos (corn, not flour) both mornings we ate there and said they were the best tacos she had eaten since she moved back east from Arizona. I had an omelet both mornings and both were excellent. The dine-in area is small and it can get a bit noisy. But everyone who works there is warm, friendly, and lot’s of fun. The food is a mix of Mexican, Native American, and Mediterranean. If this place were closer to home, we would be regular customers. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.“
“This eatery has been in the same location for decades. The food Is good. That's it.. just good.. it may taste better if it didn't cost as much as it does! Everything is expensive! Granted, the location, reputation and inflated food costs absolutely contribute to that fact, but a cheeseburger and a side of fries shouldn't run you $20.. this is the only real issue I have.. the inside is "cozy" and it's always packed, so I get my food to go.. the waitresses are all super cordial and easy on the eyes! If you have a small fortune and you're hungry, this is the best place to go for breakfast. They have a crazy coffee selection as well! Eat up and enjoy my friends ?? “
“This place is soooooo good! We always get the tacos: pastor, enchilada, pollo, and asada. It's double tortilla and they really stuff the tacos so I like to divide the taco in half and make it "double portion" (it's soooo stuffed). They give you a side of radishes, lime, green sauce, and red sauce (no idea what the sauces are but they are BOMB). We've ordered 4 times already, whenever we have people over, and they are ALWAYS impressed. LOVE this place. We want to, one day, try the breakfast menu too.“
“They’ve definitely upped their game. The place is maintained a lot better (cleaner) than a few summers ago. The young men who serve you are really friendly and on top of things. The food has always been good . I’m glad I went back and gave them another try. It’s nice that we can just walk to town and have another spot to eat breakfast. You should definitely try their coffee beans and bring some home. I recommend the Toasted Almond flavor.“
“Quite literally the best BEC bagels in New Brunswick. Mozz sticks and fries had the most perfect crisp and the food is so fresh and good. Ordered on uber eats so my coffee order got a little messed up w sizes but I called and they said they would give me a discount on my coffee the next time I come in so that's good. Also almost never a line and seems to be a family business which to me is more comforting than spending money at a chain restaurant bc not only are you getting great food, but you're also supporting small businesses“
“Vegetarian options: Very less vegetarian options. Not a great place for vegetarians. Otherwise a great place for people who eat egg and non-veg.Serving was fine. Food quantity was very good.You can go as family and everyone will have great options to enjoy.“
“Called last minute for a catering bagel platters order for RWJ case managers. Nicholas was great and so helpful and had it waiting for me early in morning. The platters looked so nice and everyone looked the bagels muffins etc. Will be returning .“
“I started coming to this bagel shop several months ago. When the owner is there, the customers are greeted with a smile and "Good Morning". He takes your order and is polite and friendly and the service is quick and food is good. However, if you are unfortunate enough to go in when the owner is not there, the women with dark hair in a pony tail is the complete opposite! She doesn't greet you, no smile just her grumpy face, walks away in the middle of taking your order and NEVER thanks you for coming in. Today, when I walked in and saw she was at the counter I almost walked out. But I ventured forward. After ringing up the customer in front of me, she then looked at me with that scowl on her face and said, "Yeah". As I started to order she turned her head and yelled something in Spanish to the other girl that was buttering toast and then turned back and looked at me like I interrupted her. I continued to order a sandwich and a bagel and then she abruptly turned and just walked away. I sat at one of the tables and was able to watch the cook fix the sandwich but didn't see him put any ketchup on it. I went up to the counter when I realized the sandwich was done. The girl put the food in a bag and pushed it at me. I took the sandwich out of the bag and opened it. Seeing there was no ketchup I looked at her and said, "Could you ask him to put ketchup and mayo on this?" She promptly snapped at, "YOU DIDN'T ASK FOR THAT !!!" I replied, "I know, because you walked away before I finished ordering." She then grabbed the sandwich and again yelled something in Spanish to the cook. There was another women in the store behind me who said to me, "She's not saying very nice things about you." Then the cook brought the sandwich back, pointed at the bag the girl had put my food in and said to her, "the bag is torn". She looked at him said something again in Spanish and walked away. The cook then got another bag, apologized, and re-bagged my order. He thanked me for coming and said, "Have a nice day." I thanked him and then pointed to the girl, who was now standing off to the left with an ugly scowl on her face, and told him that she needs an attitude adjustment. As much as I like the food, the prices and the location, I don't need that crappy attitude at 7:30am!! The next time I go there - if that girl is at the counter I will just walk out.Get rid of her if she can't be polite to your customers - she's killing your reputation and your business!!“
“They are the best bagel place in the State of New Jersey. I do travel a lot between NJ,NY, Pennsylvania And others states i never found a great place as this one. The food it's the best(you get a lot of food for your money)the service is ? ? I really do recommended to family and friends...And by the way this is a Honest true opinion!!So I am not a family member of the owner or even a friend of them just a regular customer who found a great place with delicious food!!!“
“I have worked inside building 10 for a month and almost every day I go there and weather it's for a coffee or for a lunch the workers are always vibrant and full of energy and provide great customer service to everyone in the building I didn't have time to run down to the cafe on the first floor and ibraam brought my order up to me well done guys keep up the great work“
“By far best bagel in the area. Would give 5 stars but knocked off one for the customer service. The two ladies there working had zero personality and seemed like they just hate life. I got maybe 3 words out of the lady. All I got was a “Next” when it was my turn to order, didn’t even ask me what I wanted and then I was told the price and got no response to me saying thank you and have a good day. I came in the store saying good morning and thank you after I placed my order so I don’t get the lack of common courtesy and simple conversation. Would I go back….I would for the delicious bagel, but if I get that kind of interaction again it might not be worth it after that.“
“Stumbled across Charlie's while visiting family in Oerth Amboy and really glad I did! Charlie's is a small spot in a strip mall that had about 30 orders when I arrived, with the phone still ringing like crazy. After my breakfast, I can see why. The bagel had a nice chewy texture and was packed with 3 perfectly cooked slice of pork roll. My grandparents also really enjoyed their bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. The guy at the counter was really nice and helpful. The place was ridiculously busy, but extremely efficient. Definitely recommend calling ahead on a Sunday!“
“This is a decent IHOP. The service was very friendly, everyone from my greeter/seater to my server. The food was good and consistent with the IHOP brand as I know it. I’d return to this IHOP and recommend it to anyone looking for an IHOP. Our server was friendly to my children and very patient with my large family and unready orders.Parking: There are a lot of parking spots and it is also near a hotel which may have overflow if that ever becomes necessary.Kid-friendliness: Our server was very patient with my children. The kids’ menus keep the children occupied well.“
