I went all the way from Jersey City to get a plate of Frituras... which consisted of Pork Chops, Fried Chicken, Salami, and fried Plantains and it did not disappoint! “I love this place. I stopped here because it piqued my interest. I got the vegetable chaufa with added chicken and a choco bread pudding to go.

Absolutely fresh and delicious. I loved the pink sauce added into the chaufa, it was so sweet and added a nice touch of a different flavor. One employee and asked me how it was and explained how the pink sauce was made.

The place is so warm and cozy and the people that work there are so friendly. One of the workers had given a postal worker a drink for free while they were dropping off the mail. It was such a nice act of kindness that warmed my heart.

“Second time eating here Food was excellent plenty of flavor super authentic. I had pernil with yuca fries and maduros . Chicken and pork tacos with arroz con gandules and fries.Also had some chicken tacos they were good , husband wasn't feeling the sauce that was on top . But overall taste, portion and price was really great . Its not as fast as the other spots but was worth the little extra time. Will definitely stop by again.“

“Came in for lunch and our server Paola was the sweetest. She made me the most delicious Coconut Mojito. Food was delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned.

“Since the most rated diners were like a 30 minute walk from Hoboken’s train station I would definitely recommend this place if you need something quick and nearby. I love Hispanic food, but this food was perfect! I got their breakfast French toast and my sister got their pancakes. I swear these typical sweet/bread type breakfast foods are not my thing yet the way they made them tasted so different and flavorful, for me this was unique. There Cuban empanadas are very savory, especially with the sauces they provide. My only critique is that lemonade, as it’s very bitter bc it had lime and it’s not sweet at all. The lemonade is $7.30 with card, and my meal was $9.99. Our server was very sweet, I would recommend coming here to have sweet/savory options met here. Also to me breakfast here is very affordable because with me and my sisters (3 people) our bill came to $56 with card, so most places in Hoboken are pricey but this place can offer what you need at an affordable price.“

“1st time in establishment and was very excited to try out a local Domincan Restaurant. Restaurant was very clean, and the atmosphere was reminiscent of a typical latin restaurant but feels to be more of a lunch/take out spot. Menu has your basic hot and cold sandwiches if you are not looking for something authentic. The rest of the menu has latin dishes and daily specials that are broken up into their combos small medium and family size. The portions are quite large . I ordered the pernil / salad/ and arroz con gandules ... flavor was spot on...two to three people could have honestly split the combo ... overall I would go back to try other dishes but would be sure to split the combo ...“

I know this place for years before in another locación. The food is fresh and taste fresh. “Las Esperanza’s Restaurant serves delicious and well prepared Dominican food. I like to order the baked chicken with rice and beans. Sometimes I order a side of yuca (cassava) as an additional side. This makes for a good hearty lunch under 10 dollars.
The service is quick, I generally order to go to be able to eat at Liberty park or at my desk at work.“

They had steak, fish, beef and chicken, 5 different rices and sides. I chose roasted chicken vegetables rice and she threw in some extra! The food was flavorful and made with love“
