“Food is Asian fusion. Everything I've ever had here was fantastic. Oysters on the half shell were over the top and so fresh. Fried whole black sea bass in Asian sauce was incredible! We shared lobster shrimp Cantonese fried rice and it was a meal on its own. Had to take the rest home. Sushi menu also extensive, large portions and very fresh. This location is just as good and the original in Tom's river . We will definitely go back.“

“FUKU Japanese Sushi is the go-to spot around the Holmdel and Hazlet area. Kevin and his son Andy are incredibly welcoming and make you feel like family the moment you walk in. The food is outstanding. Awesome family-owned restaurant that’s well worth the visit. 🍣“

“We found ourselves in the Red Bank area for an event and were looking for a late meal that wouldn’t break the bank. RB has a plethora of fantastic higher end restaurants but we were looking for quality at a good price and… we found it at Oriental Empire. Fusion offerings were pretty standard but the taste was amazing. Ordering the Pad See Ew and it was delicious, as good as I’ve had. Service was impeccable and a very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.“

“We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while now and finally decided to take the drive this evening and it was so worth it! The service was so personable and friendly! That said we knew it was going to be a good evening before even trying our food! Then we had the tuna pizza and ceviche PHENOMENAL! We asked if we could have chips with the ceviche and at first they were unsure but they made it happen and it was so good! We also tried three rolls and honestly they were some of the best we've ever had! We cannot wait to be back!“

So much variety! Sushi, poke bowls, burgers, meat pizzas (pulled beef is the best!), salmon platters, vegetarian options, impossible burgers, etc, etc.
Great service too!
The interior can use an update but, otherwise, a great experience in every respect and for every age!
Last but not least, this restaurant is not overpriced like every other kosher option nearby.

“Sono has always been our go to for delicious fresh sushi. Tonight there was a delay with our pick up....it's lent. We get it - they even gave us 2 free sodas to apologize. Then 2 hours later they send us an apology text. Honesty and apologetic. Now that's a classy move!“

“We have been ordering take-out from Rainbow for two years. The sushi is consistently fresh, service is excellent and delivery is quick. Today we ordered steak hibachi for the first time; it was delicious. Even our son who is a picky eater cleaned his plate!“

“In town for an event, 8 of us went out for dinner. Everything was so delicious, the 3 of us still in town the next day went back the next night for round two.I personally enjoyed the Red Curry Chicken and Beef Pad Thai. Especially of note is their General Tso's Chicken which was ordered both nights, as it is mostly chicken, not cheap breading like a lot of other places. The Shrimp Shumi were also reordered on day two. The prices were completely reasonable as well. I would 100% return to this restaurant for round three.
Parking: Parking was easy as not a lot of people were there when we were, however I could see it getting crowded when busy.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is an outdoor ramp if needed.“

“Asia Star Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants in southern Monmouth County! They have an excellent variety of entrées from around the Asian continent, including Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. My partner and I dine in regularly. We often go in the late evening, and its often nice and quiet. The staff recognize us and they are always extremely friendly. The food is wonderful. We've tried a variety of dishes and have always enjoyed whatever we've gotten. I recommend the Singapore Mei Fun, Chicken Teriyaki, Wonton soup, and Gyoza. My partner recommends Pad Kee Mao, any sushi roll, and Tom Yum Soup. You can see the sushi chef at the counter within the dining room. They offer both simple and complex sushi rolls, all of which are extremely fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is very clean, and it's a very welcoming environment. We're very thankful for Asia Star Cafe! I highly recommend it!“

“Ginza offers the best AYCE and regular sushi menus by far. I used to frequently go to MIZU-Long Branch for AYCE before and after COVID, but the experience declined—rude service from the start when you walk in and food that was bland or overly frozen - others I included would speak on the same topic. Ginza is a refreshing change: welcoming staff, better atmosphere, and consistently delicious, fresh dishes and clean!“

“This is, by far, my favourite sushi place. Their alaska roll is my favorite thing and the avocados are always nearly perfectly ripe. I eat there in person, delivery, and take out frequently and am thrilled with all three. The alaska roll and holiday roll are both especially worth trying.“

“I loved this sushi place. The King Dragon Roll was excellent. The menu has a picture of every sushi roll. Our waitress Sky was friendly and attentive at the right times. My cup was always full of green tea that tasted like it was brewed at the correct temperature.“
