“This is an amazing steakhouse in North Bergen County. My family and have been coming here for years. The owner and his staff are very welcoming and attentive. Over the past twenty years I have traveled and lived all of the world and have eaten at some great steakhouses. Cliffs Steakhouse is my number 1 steakhouse when I am back in the area and wanting a great steak/meal. Additionally, my new favorite is the bone in Veal chop. I must say, to die for!

“We lived in nyc for 30 years. Recently moved to DE. God only knows how much we miss the nyc culture. Nothing holds a candle to it. The ambiance was breathtakingly fabulous with festive holiday decor and old world charm that left us in awe. Food was outstanding and the service was even more impressive. Bruno came to the table multiple times to see how our meal was and to personally wish my daughter a happy birthday, showing genuine care. They brought her a plate full of gorgeous desserts, complete with lit candle, took our picture and put it in a card along with a note from Bruno for us to treasure forever. “Had the best dining experience at Eddie V's! They were extremely accommodating and a very pleasant staff (especially our waiter Jason).

Basically there was an error in my order and without complaining or making a big deal about it the chef, manager and waiter went above and beyond to correct and make the situation right.

The customer service was impeccable and I would definitely come back to dine at Eddie V's!

The Tomahawk for two had great flavor, though it was a bit fatty in several areas. As a thoughtful touch, Emily even offered me a dessert to go, which I really appreciated. As for the sides, the mashed potatoes could have been better—they didn't seem freshly made—and the mac & cheese could've used a bit more attention to bring out its full potential.“

“BLT steak was one of my favorite places to have a good steak before the original one on 57th closed down. Wasn't sure what to make of Prime: It was solid but not spectacular.
The popovers are always delicious.
I was a little disappointed with the amuse bouche though, as it is the same one that they've served since BlT Steak opened all those years ago.
We got the wagyu picanha and the cowboy ribeye. The picanha was tender and the chimichurri added a brightness that balanced the fattiness of the wagyu. I was disappointed in the ribeye...it was supposed to be aged but didn't taste like it. And it wasn't nearly as tender as I thought it would be even though I got it rare (how I usually like my steaks).“

“We took visiting family to Royal 35 and they could not stop raving about the experience. We enjoy the intimate, quieter atmosphere of Royal 35 over some of the more boisterous steakhouses elsewhere in the city. There were four of us, and one had the petit filet, another had the full filet, another had the NY strip, and the fourth had the ribeye. Each one was generously proportioned and cooked to perfection. We had the mushrooms, asparagus, sauteed spinach, and "German" potatoes as the sides, which were excellent. It turned out that they were out of the particular wine I ordered, so they brought an excellent bottle of even better quality and charged the price of what I ordered.
