“Found this place during our stay for the US Open. One member of our party was vegan and this place had many vegan friendly options. The vegan eggs Benedict options were impressive and you could not tell it was vegan. I ordered the chicken and egg Benedict which was nice. Love the ambiance and decor of the place. For calm, quiet, and relaxing. The mocha lattes were excellent and love the tumbler idea to serve them in. Highly recommend!“

Vibe is always chill, service is always friendly and place is always clean. 3 sandwiches, 2 plate orders, a side order, 4 drinks and 2 pastries, less than $65. Good quality and delicious food without having to go sit at a diner. Sometimes I'll sit at the counter for a quick bite or take it home to enjoy.“

“Really good local place. Met up with 2 friends for breakfast a week ago. We grew up in the area, use to visit Bennys 45 years ago when it was more of a convenience store. Today’s Bennys is really well done. Service was great, waitress was extremely nice, friendly throughout our time there. Food was spot on, omlettes, salad, and biscuits with gravy, 2 eggs over easy could not have been better. Prices a little steep, but that’s par for the course these days. Anyway, highly recommend“

“Wanting to take my daughter for a special treat whilst in New York for a few days we booked afternoon tea in the Pembroke Room at the Lowell Hotel after knocking back the Plaza after reading a few dodgy reviews. So pleased we did as we spent over 2 hours enjoying every moment. The service was excellent as was the food, especially the warm scones. It’s a shame the cream was “Devonshire” rather than the traditional Clotted Cornish but other than that it was perfection. Lovely small intimate setting too where we felt our custom was welcome rather than feeling just a number as we were one of just 3 tables there. Would we return? Absolutely!“

There are quite a few options, and they are able to make any combinations of sandwiches that you’d like, like other delis. They also offer coffee and baked goods. The guy who takes phone orders affectionately refers to us as “The Donut Family” because we usually order the last donuts of the day. What’s pictured here is seasoned waffle fries and a special made burger (bacon cheddar cheeseburger on a glazed donut w/lettuce & tomato). They are open very early. They take cards and cash. The staff is super friendly. Great for delivery but not so great as a dine in spot (they do have a couple of chairs inside but it’s really too small to sit and enjoy a meal without having to move for the incoming foot traffic).“

“Texas Star serves really good breakfast options. I always order scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, and sausage (hot sausage, pork links, or patties). Breakfast is always served fresh and made to order. The bacon and sausage are bursting with flavor. The omelettes and sunny side up eggs are also tasty. The portions are very filling, I usually have leftovers that warm up well for the next day. The staff are consistently professional. The food tastes like it's home cooked and saves me from cooking when I'm not up to it. I highly recommend for breakfast.“

“I stopped by for breakfast the other day. I entered thru the 52nd street entrance. You order breakfast here over the counter, pay at the register at the end and then find a seat . Some tables in the side where you order and a lot more in the larger side exiting on Lexington.
Service was fast and the food was standard diner. Scrambled eggs, potatoes and toast. And coffee.
For salads , sandwiches etc, you order in the front section by Lexington.“

“What a little hidden gem! From out of town, I needed a quick breakfast bite. Randomly found this place on Google. First off, their ice coffee uses ice coffee cubes?!? Good coffee with the same good coffee ice was such a pleasant surprise. For that alone, I will come back for their ice coffees when I'm back in the area.. Egg/potatoes were also good. Their potatoes were perfect with just the right amount amount green and red pepper accenting each bite. Next time when I'm not running off, I'd like to sit outside at their bistro table in front.“

“amazing neighbourhood diner restaurant! got the huevos divorciados and it was delicious. the salsa verde which flooded the plate had the rare, perfect amount of acidity. the fruit pancakes deluxe with sunny side up eggs and sausage were also equally perfect in each component, with a special shoutout to the sausage (crispy skin! piping hot!) and hotcakes that had all the comfort of a childhood homemade breakfast. the servers were kind and warm, and the environment is cosy without being cramped. absolutely absolutely will be returning in short order.“

On Google, it's 'Tu Cafe' - on Yelp it's 'G & M Coffee Shop' - and on the menu I have it just says 'Cafe'.I've been here several times, and it's been a reliable, nice option and local business.Place is comfortable. Not overly large, but there are plenty of areas to sit both at a table or at the counter. I've only ordered to go, so I have no comments about the in-dining experience.I've only been ordering breakfast items, but upon last visit I decided to try more options the next time I come here. But the breakfast I have ordered has been good each time. The hot food behind the glass looks appetizing and I plan to try that next time I pass by.Staff has been friendly. I've mainly dealt with the one in the front and she's always very pleasant and welcoming.Parking is metered street or the municipal lot on the next block. Don't take chances without paying, because the parking violation police are here checking very frequently. This business is by far top notch as the quality of the food is top tier and the service is immaculate! They have several locations in NYC; including one directly across from my home. I usually order the same delicious meal which is the Western omelette served with home fries and toast. The food is always fresh and the chef never fails! Sergio is extremely warm, friendly and welcoming. He always makes my omelette to my liking and has such an amazing energy! Their menu has a variety of healthy food including for folks that are mainly vegetarian. There is some for everyone basically! Let’s not even talk about the unbeatable price point! Quality food at such an affordable price considering the high cost of living in New York. I more recently had the pleasure to meet Arthuro the owner. He is very professional, upbeat personality and totally awesome at what he does! I had referred my friends to this place because the combination of exquisitely made food and outstanding service is rare to find nowadays. Furthermore, I also had the pleasure to meet Jessica who was beyond inviting and extremely kind.
