“After dropping off our daughter at school this morning the wife wanted to stop at a nice place for a quick bite that didn't have that quick bite feeling, we landed on the Main Street gem known as Cafe Vista. This cozy, delightfully sunny, positive energy vibe Cafe offers all day dining items, made to order, a very innovative beverage selection, sultry and sweet dessert delights and a classy/ calm music selection while you dine. I strongly recommend the Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwich on an Everything Bagel. Warm fluffy eggs , melted cheddar made with honey ham chunks overflowing on a toasted bagel. Also the mushroom spinach and mozzerella omelet paired with a delightful morning salad medley. For dessert we had the rasberry brownie and a cheese blueberry Danish. For beverages in old school (coffee light and sweet) which came in a elegantly styled oversized mug and the wife had the BLUE LAVENDER MATCHA TEA (highly recommended by us both). The presentation, flavor and overall vibe of our visit turned our quick bite into an over hour stay. We were very pleased and humbled to be served and attended to by Cafe Vista OWNER Balsayat, thank you for making our breakfast special this morning, it was great chatting with you, lovely tranquil, and serene establishment you have here.“

“This is such a great little spot in NYC! We went for breakfast and when we arrived the owner opened the door for us and welcomed us in. We had to wait a moment till they had a table for us, so they gave us menus to look at in the meantime. The food was delicious and very filling. There were quite a number of staff on hand, so we had wonderful service. They were very quick to refill our water and respond to any needs. I would definitely go here again!“

“Really good local place. Met up with 2 friends for breakfast a week ago. We grew up in the area, use to visit Bennys 45 years ago when it was more of a convenience store. Today’s Bennys is really well done. Service was great, waitress was extremely nice, friendly throughout our time there. Food was spot on, omlettes, salad, and biscuits with gravy, 2 eggs over easy could not have been better. Prices a little steep, but that’s par for the course these days. Anyway, highly recommend“

“Great location! Bigger than the Montvale location. Very busy on weekends though so be prepared to wait 20 mins on weekends. Went on a Sunday with my bf and it was pretty packed. Server was attentive and food was brought out relatively quickly. I had the breakfast tacos and they were excellent. Definitely will be back!“

“I went in to munchies with a friend today on our lunch break. The service was great. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. And the food, was, like one of the best deli food in Yonkers, they could go toe to toe with anyone else in Yonkers . Thank you very much Munchies.“

“I really wish I could give a five star because the sandwich I received was amazing. I’m giving four stars because the atmosphere of the entire place needs to match everything. The worker at the register was honestly just rude and had a very standoffish attitude. It almost made me want to cancel my order and walk out the store. “I'm a big fan of this place. I love coming here and getting their egg wraps or a muffin. They already know me for that 😂. But they're super attentive, diligent, and very courteous. The food is always good and I've never had a problem. They also have good coffee which rules. You can also snag a delicious breakfast burrito for about $10 so especially finding a place to eat in Midtown. It's perfect.“

“Love, Love, LOVE this breakfast spot. I order from here regularly. The food is always fast, fresh and budget friendly. The guy who takes phone orders affectionately refers to us as “The Donut Family” because we usually order the last donuts of the day. What’s pictured here is seasoned waffle fries and a special made burger (bacon cheddar cheeseburger on a glazed donut w/lettuce & tomato). They are open very early. They take cards and cash. The staff is super friendly. Great for delivery but not so great as a dine in spot (they do have a couple of chairs inside but it’s really too small to sit and enjoy a meal without having to move for the incoming foot traffic).“

It's good to know if you find yourself in the South Bronx (should you dare to roam these streets) that there's decent food here. I went here twice since I had something business related to do down here. The atmosphere of the diner is the major area that needs improvement but is pleasant. Sometimes a dark, old looking, low intensity environment is good though, especially if you're feeling down as I often am.“

“What a little hidden gem! From out of town, I needed a quick breakfast bite. Randomly found this place on Google. First off, their ice coffee uses ice coffee cubes?!? Good coffee with the same good coffee ice was such a pleasant surprise. For that alone, I will come back for their ice coffees when I'm back in the area.. Egg/potatoes were also good. Their potatoes were perfect with just the right amount amount green and red pepper accenting each bite. Next time when I'm not running off, I'd like to sit outside at their bistro table in front.“

“We ordered a chop cheese, the six corners quesadilla, tater tots, and a mango monster smoothie.

The vibe inside was a small and cute cafe. It took about 20 minutes for our food to be ready.

The chop cheese was delicious. I loved the texture of the ground meat and the melted cheese. The quesadilla was a little too salty and the steak was a bit chewy. The tater tots weren't great. The mango monster was solid, but I wouldn't get it again for $8.

Overall a solid experience. I would like to try some of their other menu items and maybe call ahead to avoid the wait.“

On Google, it's 'Tu Cafe' - on Yelp it's 'G & M Coffee Shop' - and on the menu I have it just says 'Cafe'.I've been here several times, and it's been a reliable, nice option and local business.Place is comfortable. Not overly large, but there are plenty of areas to sit both at a table or at the counter. I've only ordered to go, so I have no comments about the in-dining experience.I've only been ordering breakfast items, but upon last visit I decided to try more options the next time I come here. But the breakfast I have ordered has been good each time. The hot food behind the glass looks appetizing and I plan to try that next time I pass by.Staff has been friendly. I've mainly dealt with the one in the front and she's always very pleasant and welcoming.Parking is metered street or the municipal lot on the next block. Don't take chances without paying, because the parking violation police are here checking very frequently. “Wanting to take my daughter for a special treat whilst in New York for a few days we booked afternoon tea in the Pembroke Room at the Lowell Hotel after knocking back the Plaza after reading a few dodgy reviews. So pleased we did as we spent over 2 hours enjoying every moment. The service was excellent as was the food, especially the warm scones. It’s a shame the cream was “Devonshire” rather than the traditional Clotted Cornish but other than that it was perfection. Lovely small intimate setting too where we felt our custom was welcome rather than feeling just a number as we were one of just 3 tables there. Would we return? Absolutely!“
