“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. Also the service was perfect!“

The salsas were spicy and filled with flavor, the meat was tender, and the maíz tortillas are hand made on the spot making them fresh that with every bite your not just tasting the meat, you are tasting the taco as a whole. I just ordered bistec a la Mexicana. I can already taste it. But I do have to try and see what it's like. I like mine, small but thick cuts and lots of sweet white onions that blend with the peppers, roasted tomatoes, and jalapeños with the rice and beans. Absolutely can't wait. I do have to run to the store for the coca cola with the cane sugar. All other cokes are fake. The mexican glass bottle one is it.“

“I was reluctant to eat here because the sanitation is rated a B (which most restaurants in this area have). I wish I ate here sooner, I live very close.

I ordered 2 chicken tinga tacos. The wait was short and the server was friendly. The portions are generous and the red sauce is spicy! I only needed a few drops. The radish, onions and cilantro are fresh and crisp.

I prefer corn tortillas but the taco was great and tasted very authentic. I’ll be back soon“
