“Everything was absolutely perfect, from the service to the deliciousness of the food (Chilean sea bass was outstanding, the lamb chops special was superb and the grilled octupus was perfectly tender). The only mention I have and it's seriously not a big deal was the dining room that we were seated in was a bit too dark I actually had to turn my flashlight on my phone to see. On a scale of 1-10 I give it an 11 !!“

“Guzzo’s quickly became a family favorite for us. The most delicious lobster tails. Then was lucky enough to try their vanilla butter cream cake! Yum!! Ralph and his team of employees were so kind and accommodating when they were out of something we had wanted. He dropped it off at our house that evening to make the birthday perfect!! In that same week we ordered ANOTHER cannoli cake and mini cannolis…and they did not disappoint either! Glad we found our new favorite bakery!“

“As charming as the bakery is, it pales in comparison to Miss Eleanor, the owner. Over the past several years I developed a sensitivity to wheat, so I wanted a gluten-free snack. She had a wide selection of sweets (cupcakes, cookies, brownies) but I saw the picture of biscuits and quickly decided to enjoy them with my coffee.

I took Ms Eleanor up on her offer to warm them up and chatted while waiting for my order to be complete. We had a lovely conversation about so many things - food, travel, career changes.

The biscuits were delicious and very reasonably priced so I’ll have to make my way back soon.

“We got our wedding cake from Calandra's Bakery. They have so many flavors to choose from, and their cakes are magnificent works of art! We got a four tier cake to feed 250 people. We had such a good time at our tasting, sampling all the different flavor combinations, and enjoying some complimentary coffee. The flavors we chose were vanilla cake with chocolate pudding, chocolate and vanilla cake with Italian custard and strawberries, and chocolate cake with dulce de leche. “Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“I come here atleast once a week and my boyfriend comes here 2-3 times a week. All of their croissants are amazing. I love the apple and the almonds croissant. My boyfriend is obsessed with the chocolate croissants. I believe all of them are under $4 which is pretty good considering how large they are. They also have coffee, juice, cake, cookies, arepas and breakfast platers. Great for a quick bite before work. Been coming here for a little over a year.“

You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything!
