“I want to say this place was great in food, vibes, and coziness. This is a great definition of a mom and pop restaurant.

Firstly the food.
I had the bulgogi bento. The bulgogi looked, smelled, and tasted amazing. It had the normal bulgogi flavor with that nice hit of smokiness almost like wokhay from Chinese cooking. I loved each bite as the smokiness hit my mouth and nose. The sides of the bento was good too, the dumplings were nice and crunchy with a nice but just a tad bit bland filling, tho to be fair the filling is fairly standard for korean dumplings. The kimichi is what I prefer, which is the more freshly made kind. And the rice was cooked as I expected from a Korean restaurant, which is good. The salads were fine again its a salad, but it was nice that they added kale to the salad adding this bit of variety. The salad dressing was sweet and a bit tangy, mostly sweet which I do like since I have a sweet tooth.

The other bento was the shrimp tempura, I did get one of the shrimp tempura and it was good. The crunchy and breading was nice and you had the shrimp flavor that was still there.

Finally the tteokbokki. It was great. The rice cakes were chewy and soft and the fish cakes were soft and not mushy. The flavor of the sauce was great too, it had this nice umami to it and was the perfect level of spicy to enjoy.

The price for the food was also reasonable. Both bento costed roughly $18 each and the tteokbokki costed $12. They also had an interesting line up of drinks that was nice.

All this aside I want to also note how cozy and welcoming it felt. The lady that was serving us was very kind and caring. She even asked about how the addition of kale to the salad was because it was a new addition that they changed because people liked kale. I really liked that attention to detail. The store was medium sized with some odds and ends here and there but that added to the charm of the place.

I went on a Thursday during lunch time and it had a good amount of business via pick up but I was there alone with the person I was with dining in.

Overall as a Korean I think this place hits better then certain places in mind the food was good and the atmosphere was comforting.

I do regret not trying some of the other menu items I guess I have to return for some more.

For the sake of Google reviews I gave everything a 5. My personal score may be closer to a 4.4 which is high for my own personal score“

“Picked up a Slider, Strip Combo and came with a free drink which is not something I’ve see where so definitely a plus.
Nice ambiance with high ceilings and lights. Very rustic and casual. The hot sauce is really hot so be careful. Should have gone with mild or medium. Mind you i do like hot sauce so when i say hot is hot its really is.. But the sauce had a kick to it.

Hubby was looking for something to eat and found Dominican Pica Pollo. Fried chicken with Dominican seasoning, it's so good.

I got the sandwich and hubby got chicken pieces. Have to say I prefer the chicken pieces. The chicken in the sandwich was a little overcooked so it was very dry, even though it is wonderfully seasoned.

Will go back for the chicken pieces yum.“

“I have bought meals from this store many times ever since they opened in GSP food court. This is one of the most popular restaurants in the mall, sometimes the line wrapping around the stairs. It’s take out only, but of course guests can use the mall’s dining hall for dine-in. The store does a good job of putting associates outside who take customers orders while they are waiting in the line. It speeds up the process and keeps the line short.

The store takes relatively short tike to prepare the orders. I always got my orders within 10 minutes. They always pack the items correctly. Never had any missing from the bag. They are also generous with the sauces. I got more whenever I asked. I love the chicken deluxe sandwich, chicken nuggets, waffle fries, milkshake of Chic Fil A. This store does an excellent job of maintaining the quality, taste and standard, at all times.

The associates are very friendly here. They always greet and smile. They happily fulfill any reasonable requests like extra sauces, napkins or utensils. The rewards account is also valuable as I get points for purchases from this store. I have redeemed points at this also for free sandwiches and desserts. I hope they continue to do well and keep making the guests happy at GSP.“

“I gave 2 stars because the food quality and the taste is still top notch amongst the fast food industry. Otherwise, it would have deserved 0 star. It's the service that had brought down the rating. It is slow and the staffs are rude. Also, it's located in a service area off the Garden State Parkway, so price gouging is suspected. You won't be able to place an order online or from the app, which is another clue that pricing gouging is being played here. So, go to a different location if you want to be treated right.

Update: They must have read all the negative reviews previously left for them. My last visit there was a complete make over. The service was much better. While I was enjoying my hash browns, a staff came over and gave me another portion because she felt the order that she gave me earlier felt light to her. Wow! What a difference between now and then. So I have decided to update the review.“

“I’ve been eating Chicken Delight since I was a kid — the kind of spot my grandfather would grab on those random days, and we’d bring it home to my grandma like we just hit the lotto 😂.

Even now, every time I come back to Westwood to visit family, this place is still one of my first stops. Not because it tastes exactly the same as when I was little — it doesn’t — but the memory hits the same every time.

I always go straight for the chicken and fries. The chicken is hot, crispy, and comforting in that “I grew up on this” kind of way.
And the rolls? Still soft. Still doing what they need to do.
Their coleslaw and macaroni salad have always been my secret favorites — still some of the best around.

My grandparents loved the shrimp and ribs, so those were always on the table growing up even though I never ate them myself.

And the pizza? The second you open that door, the aroma hits you right in the face — warm, fresh, familiar. The kind of smell that drags your whole childhood back instantly.

We even had Chicken Delight at family gatherings and church events — that’s how deep it runs in our family story.

“Clean facility and friendly staff. My son has food allergies and the staff makes sure to serve safe food him (they change gloves and prepare fresh fruits from scratch for him). Very grateful and thankful that they understand food allergies. Highly recommend!
