“This is a great Chinese take out in a dying strip mall. The kind proprietor maintains very fair prices and pumps out freshly prepared food with the flavors many of us in the area were accustomed to from Chinese-American take out. These days many Chinese-American restaurants have hopped onto the bandwagon of dishes that are chock full of sugar and oversauced. Parking is convenient since many of the businesses in the area are closed.“

“Kosher express catered an event for 60 people for a non-profit organization. They did a terrific job, they were easy to work with, food was delivered on time, everything was fresh, plentiful & delicious! Everyone enjoyed. They even created a special vegetarian menu for us and it was fantastic! I highly recommend.“

“It’s nice to find an old fashioned sit down Chinese restaurant. A very extensive Chinese/ Japanese/ hibachi menu. We had the Chinese lunch specials. Large assortment and a large portion. Portions were all fresh and presented well. Service a bit slow but server was extremely pleasant. They also have sushi. Saw a ton of takeout orders going. I’ll be back.“

“Really delicious sushi and Chinese food. The sushi is not omakase but tasty for the price and variety. I order off the diet menu regularly, shrimp and broccoli and fried dumplings. Best ginger sauce ever for dipping items off the diet menu. I skip the dumpling sauce and use the ginger sauce for everything lol. Wonton soup is also delicious. They are always so nice and happy when I arrive to pick up my order. One day I ordered delivery and within 30 minutes the order was at my door. This is my go to spot when I have friends and family over looking to order Chinese food. I tried other places near Broadway and nothing has compared.“

“Little disappointed at this place. Saw they had Crispy Beef with Fresh Honey Walnuts Beef with a bed of steamed broccoli in a sweet brown sauce topped with sugared walnuts. Not crispy as from can see in pic. Was this really beef also? Walnuts were plain as well.Steamed Spinach Dumplings were a bit dry . Hunan Dumplings Spinach and beef dumplings topped with spicy peanut sauce. Spicy. I got not spicy but were very good. Would I try again. Yes think I would.“

I had found one takeout place in Mendham that has done really well for years and when I work in that area I order it. On a whim I asked them how theirs was and said I would let her know. I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats. Though the delivery time was close to half an hour, I'm happy to report the food and packaging survived the trip with little ill consequence.

The beef chow fun was a definite hit. I loved the savory sauce on the slippery noodles, and there was a generous amount of tender beef throughout the container. This was a pure carb-and-protein delight.

Over the course of travel time, the sauce inside the beef with broccoli became chilled and slightly gelatinous. While it looked slightly unappetizing, the taste was great. The broccoli was also well tender, which I appreciated because I'm regularly disappointed with al dente veg from other Chinese restaurants.

I also ordered a shrimp egg roll, mainly out of curiosity because it was my first time seeing it on a takeout menu. While there are definite chunks of small shrimp inside, I found the actual taste to be nearly indistinguishable from other egg rolls because the filling was mainly cabbage.“

I stopped eating just to write how much I love this spot. I order almost once a week. The food never disappoints and I believe they truly deserve 5 stars. The portion sizes are large and more than enough to have left over the next day. As far as the owners Karma they are very nice people as well as friendly. “The food at this Chinese restaurant is super good. I recently moved to Fairfield and needed to find a good spot for Chinese takeout out. So, I tried joy wok. I ordered sesame chicken combo and the Mongolian beef. They were both super good. I don’t normally like my sesame chicken a little spicy and they made it just right for me.
The customer service is also great. I had accidentally ordered white rice with the Mongolian beef and when I picked up my order they switched it to fried rice right away with no extra charge. Everyone there is super nice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area in search of a good Chinese spot.“
