“Honestly didn't know what to expect before arriving since I'm not too familiar with Indian food in general and it was just a random spot we chose to eat before flying back home.We ended up getting the lamb chop, goat curry and chicken tikka masala and I was really impressed with the food. My favorite was the goat curry actually. The flavor is reminiscing of a goat dish my family would make sometime as well which was a pleasant surprised.It was strange though to see the place basically empty on a Friday lunch even though it's already a small restaurant but I would definitely recommend this place and I'd come back again if I get the chance.“

“Recently we (me and my husband) were visiting Morristown for work and it was our 10th Wedding Anniversary. We decided to make it special by trying out Indian and Indo-Chinese Buffet at Spice Route. We were warmly welcomed by the host and really loved their hospitality. The choice of appetizers was amazing. Indo chinese did not disappoint. Only suggestion I can provide is to increase number of vegetarian items a bit. Overall our experience was great and would certainly recommend it to someone who needs a change and skip cooking over a weekend.“

I had heard of Indian inspired burgers and fried chicken before in Manhattan, so we decided to try this place out.\\n\\nThe place has 1 table by the window, then a bar with some chairs along the counter, and finally an area with several more tables.\\n\\nYou order at the counter, they'll ask your name, so I thought it was self pick-up, but in our case they brought the food to us.\\n\\nWe weren't sure what sauce to use on the chicken wings so we asked about the masala and the walla, as those two sounded the most special/distinct. The cakes are scrumptious and utterly delicious as well as his work is neat and totally on point to what has been asked. The owners are nice, the food is always fresh and amazing, they catered a work event for me as well, just wonderful. I'm a clean freak so it's very clean. I don't really care about ambiance personally, as long as the food is good, but the place is very aesthetically pleasing not just for a date, but to be causal and bring the family as well. I found the staff to be on point in both service and explaining the various dishes on the buffet. The food was varied enough that I feel most would enjoy several of the offerings. There was a balance of savory, spicy and sweet offerings. Everything was fresh! The bread out of this world. Naan was brought to the table with an endless amount of chai tea. We were here for lunch. The lamb (gyro meat) over rice is very good, it tastes like it was homemade and not the generic factory ones. The long grain basmati is a standout and sets itself apart from the other trucks.
