“Seafood Birthday Bash!

Went to this restaurant for my uncles birthday. He doesn’t eat chicken or steak so seafood is his favorite. Caldwell Seafood Market & Cafe was an obvious choice because of the pictures and the fact it was a fresh seafood market just stood out to me. It did not disappoint either! We were a group of 10 people and ordered everything our heart desired and spent $579. We ordered 3 orders of fried calamari which was nice and crispy and they even had a ginger sauce which is different. We tried the hot and spicy shrimp which had a great sauce to dip the complementary bread in. We ordered 5 bowls of New England clam chowder. I felt it was watery and not as seasoned as I am used to but we enjoyed it anyway. They forgot a bowl of soup but we won’t hold it against them. We all ordered entrees and most of us got a dessert! We left full and satisfied!

Knowing my family we love to eat and we are all reviewers at heart and are not afraid to say what we do not like. Everyone loved their food from the appetizers to the dessert and we were surprised at how fast the food came and how fresh it was. The waiter was very attentive as well. We didn’t need a reservation when we came in at 3pm and were the only ones there. Surprising it was not packed for a Saturday afternoon but started to fill up as we left.

Overall this restaurant gets a 5/5 because the experience was great, the waiter was very nice and accommodating, the food was piping hot and everyone was pleased even the kids who aren’t really seafood fans.

Fresh, perfectly prepared dishes that always allow the seafood to shine. Fried or broiled flounder and any kind of shrimp are a personal favorite. I always judge a restaurant by it’s side salad and here it’s never an afterthought, fresh and so tasty - they should bottle their house dressing it’s off the chart.“

I ordered a calamari to go, and the bartender (a super friendly guy) was fantastic. He was incredibly nice and even threw in a huge piece of bread—easily 10 inches long! It's always a pleasure to be greeted like old friends by owner Stephane Bocket and seated at what we think is the best table in the tastefully decorated, elegant restaurant. We both chose the prix fixe menu. For starters, my wife had the always terrific moules and I a lovely mixed salad. We both chose beef bourguignons for our main course and asked Stephane to suggest wine from the by-the-glass list. “I'm here visiting a friend and decided to stop here for lunch. This place was phenomenal. The service was great and the food was delicious. Sorry I font have a Pic of my wings, I couldn't wait to dig in. They had the right amount of sauce, were nice and hot, meaty and juicy. The pretzel was good too. Not sure what one of those sauces was but I didnt like it, the mustard was good though. Now these potstickers....OMG. you have got to try them, they were flavorful and the Thai chili sauce was perfect. I was afraid it was going to have some spice to it, too old for that kinda heartburn(lol), but it wasn't spicy it was just good. So if you're in the neighborhood stop by and have some great food...think I'll have dinner here tomorrow.“

I don’t trust a lot soul food restaurants due to tons of sodium and grease but Two Fish & Five Loaves was just right! I will like to one day dine in. I highly recommend this place for catering!“

Wasn't happy about being sat in front of the door every time someone walked in we would get a gust of cold air and it just wasn't comfortable everyone looking at you that walked in the door. My filet mignon was cooked exactly the way I wanted it and was very tender as was the steak for everyone who ordered it at my table. The fish options were also prepared very well. The only negative was that the restaurant was very loud, but perhaps that was due to being there on a Saturday night.“
