The Millburn, NJ, location is equally fantastic! We always start with our favorite Arugula salad - generous portions. House salad, also incredible! We adore Garlic Old Bay Shrimp appetizers, fried calamari, crab cakes, BUTTERY lobster rolls, OMG!. For our entrées, we couldn't resist going all in! Seafood Linguine in Garlic Sauce, steamed clams, mussels, grilled salmon, and lobster tails with crabmeat stuffing (seasonal). If you don't see something on the menu that piques your interest, just ask your server if they can prepare it for you. What impresses me most is Greg's attention to detail, passion, and creativity in delivering exceptional, high-quality food, ensuring each guest feels welcome and appreciated. As an investor in restaurants I'm very critical when visiting any restaurant and not often impressed even with well known critically acclaimed restaurants. It's very rare when a place has truly incredible food with every appetizer and entree as well as first class VIP vibes for service. You could literally taste the passion and care put into every plate with beautifully prepared flavorful abundant meals. In fact, it was the first time in almost a decade I brought home leftovers as the meal was delicious and easily sufficient for two people. Our entire table raved about their meals and the attentive but not obtrusive service was always there to refill our wine and assist without any of us having to look up for service. The food alone would have made for a great night but what truly made it memorable besides the great waitstaff was the manager, Eli. When was the last time a manager, GM or owner greated you at your table to share a polite, interesting and passionate conversation about the food and why they love sharing this experience with their valued customers? He made our entire table feel like VIPs and made perfect recommendations for wine and dessert. It felt more like we were in someone's home as we were there for close to 3-1/2 hours talking, eating, drinking and laughing. I prefer a thinner corn meal breading. I did not detect any seasoning, i.e. Old Bay, salt or pepper so sprinkled it on when I got home. You can also order fish, scallops, shrimp, combos with fries and sides. Overall, it was a good substitute for having to fry it myself and I will likely go again. There is a good variety of fresh fish and seafood for purchase too.“

This Ruth’s Chris location is steadfast and phenomenal. The servers are excellent, knowledgeable, and dedicated. There’s a great team in the kitchen and it’s apparent in the dining experience. One doesn’t find such a long term and tenured staff at a dining establishment without the restaurant having a good reason to be honored with such retention.
