“I've been looking forward to trying this restaurants menu items. yesterday was only the 1st, for sure. I had a shrimp po boy, perfect, packed with shrimp, just the right sauces, really good. I took home a container of their vegan lentil soup which is better than my lentil soup. that's not a small thing. beautifully balanced flavor, really delicious. I can't wait to go back and try everything else.“

“It was very good, I appreciated the crab scissors, some places don’t give any. It only had one corn on the cob but there was an egg and potatoes. We spent $63 crab deal plus an extra crab claw, honestly price is kind of high but it was enough for two people and we took some shrimp home. Next time I would get more corn. Sausage was good too. Coming back for sure. Thank you“

Naomi and Arturo made sure me and my friends were taken care of. Naomi had such great energy and she was patient and helped me out even though I'm very indecisive. “I went with a group of friends for my birthday last night. It was AMAZING. The service was great, everyone was so friendly. The place itself was so clean and cute, really cool vibe. The Apps were great, Hush Puppies and Fried Calamari, yum. I did a make-your-own Seafood Boil. OH MY GOD. The New Zealand Mussels, King Crab and Dungeness Crab was out of this world in the Cajun Butter Sauce. I HIGHLY recommend this spot and will be going back.“

“Friend who tried Cap’t Loui in Cape Cod highly recommended it when she saw it open in Sunnyside, Queens. Prices are good, so you don’t have to wait to treat yourself only on special occasions. The Capt’n Loui sauce boil was really good and 1 pound per person was very filling. The garlic noodles as a side was delicious, and we tried it dipped in the boil’s sauce, too. Service was spectacular. Minh Kha gave us his favorites as suggestions and cleaned up after us well. All of my favorite pop tunes were playing as well. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be back.“

“I have to say, some of the reviews on this establishment is bordering on satire. Recently went here and found the food to be fantastic! The mango chicken was absolutely delicious as was the bourbon chicken and the spicy chicken. Do yourself a favor and actually look at the complaints about this place before you make a decision. I’ll cut you a break and give you an example or two about the complaints. One complaint was about the use of paper bag oppose to plastic bags and another was the color of the food, the color! I mean I understand complaints about the quality of the food but when the complaints have nothing to do with the quality then I can’t and won’t take it seriously. People seriously need to stop crying and complaining about the silliest of things. Enjoy this place, I know me and my wife did!“

I had an amazing experience at Captain Loui thanks to Christina. From the moment we were seated, she was friendly, attentive, and professional. She made sure we had everything we needed, checked on us regularly, and provided excellent customer service throughout our meal.
Christina’s positive attitude and attention to detail truly stood out and made our dining experience even better. She was knowledgeable about the menu, patient with our questions, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.
Employees like Christina are the reason customers like myself will keep coming back. She is a tremendous asset to Captain Loui and absolutely deserves recognition for her hard work and dedication. I highly recommend asking for Christina if you visit—she was amazing and definitely deserves a raise!

“I walked into Halal Cajun Platters and the man who was there treated me like family. I never met him in my entire life and I came in to get a green juice but I didn’t have enough money to pay for it. However the man who was at the counter treated me with so much love and kindness. The food is so incredible and every single thing on the menu is the best food you will ever eat and that’s because it is made with so much love. You will never find a spot like this in your life so many places make a bunch of food but there is no love! The vibes of this restaurant are incredible!!!
