“Waikiki in Saddle Brook is one of my favorite stops. The poke bowls taste fresh and well balanced, with generous portions and a lot of texture in every bite. My bowl is rich in flavor, perfectly glazed, and paired really well with the crunchy toppings and sauces.

The dumplings were crispy on the bottom and packed with flavor, and the wings came out hot and crunchy without feeling greasy. Everything felt fresh, quick, and well put together.

Definitely a great casual spot if you’re craving poke, dumplings, or just an easy comfort meal that still feels quality.

“I had an amazing experience at Pokeworks! The teriyaki chicken poke bowl was incredibly fresh and flavorful, with generous toppings like avocado and spicy mayo. “From the outside, one might think this a food hall of sorts. Its definitely more of a hub for food delivery services. There were countless pickup orders and, including us, 2 other tables that came to sit and eat. The atmosphere has grande ceilings with floor to ceiling windows with bar seating running along and maybe 8 tables. There are hard-copy menus and touchscreen stations to order but the choices are countless; resulting in a time consuming firt-timer experience. There's 1 kitchen that pumps out separate restaurant menu items. The food was ok. I got a Mexican-style chicken bowl that was crossed with another restaurants curry chicken; bites here and there were different. My husband got an Asian-style chicken fried rice bowl that came out cold. 2nd attempt was saturated in sesame oil and inedible. We didn't realize it at the time but Amex Gold got rid of Goldbelly, replaced by Wonder; big mistake in our opinion as Goldbelly is worldwide and Wonder is limited to big-city access for a lesser quality product.“

There as another customer here at the same time who was “part of the meal plan” and was absolutely terrorizing the staff. She was extremely combative and unreasonable and immediately escalated to “reporting” the employees. All employees stayed extremely calm and professional throughout the interaction, I was very impressed with them. Happy to give more information to the owner if she complains“

I accidentally placed my order at another location and didn’t realize it until I went to pick up the order. The manager overheard and he was so kind. He asked me to just order it again at the counter and NO CHARGE!

The manager didn’t have to do this but he took care of me. It’s windy day today and I did not spend my entire lunch time to walk another half mile one way to retrieve my lunch and come back.

Thank you Poke Bowl! It is hard to find this kind of customer care at a fast food lunch spot these days. I will be back, like always.“

“I stopped in Epicerie Boulud WTC in August 2021. It has a great view of the Oculus. I got an almond croissant and a latte. Both were good. Unfortunately I spilled my latte all over. The staff lady was so kind. She got me another latte free of charge. Very kind. Another staff came with a mop to clean up the mess I had made. I would recommend Epicerie Boulud as a rest stop during a visit to the World Trade Center.“

“I stopped by Pokeworks and ordered the Yuzu Salmon on a bed of salad greens with the lava sauce, and it was so good. The salmon was fresh, the yuzu added a bright citrus flavor, and the lava sauce brought a serious kick. Fair warning, it is actually spicy. I grew up eating a lot of spicy food, so I loved it, but it may be a bit much if you’re sensitive to heat.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and ordering was quick and easy since it’s counter service. There are a few tables if you want to dine in, and Spot Dessert Bar shares the space if you’re in the mood for dessert afterward. I’d definitely come back for another bowl.“

However, salmon has always been my favorite and I would say the salmon here is the best i’ve had so far. It was so buttery and tender. The pieces are gigantic and the sides are incredible. I'd recommend getting the fried chicken with the mac salad and at least 2 sauces. The umami scallion and the sweet chipotle soy is a combo that is out of this world.

The kimchi coleslaw is also great. If you're not feeling fried chicken, the huli huli chicken is also amazing. Tender juicy and well seasoned. I wish it was a tad juicier but can't complain, it comes with this amazing rice which makes for a great meal.

“I had an event at Aloha NYC Lounge. The Playa Ball 2018! WE HAD SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! We were treated like we've been doing business with this establishent for years, as opposed to first time clients! Mr. Bosch is extremely professional! When we were scouting out locations for our event, our first choice was an establishment in Brooklyn, NY, because it was closer and it already had that 70's look. Not much decoration, if any, would be needed. However, when we arrived to talk business, there were 3 patrons and the owner appeared to not have time to talk money. So, what he did was hand me a piece of paper with the rules and what they'd need from me, shook my hand and walked away. We jumped back in the car and headed to Aloha NYC! Walking in, you could see there was definitely an event going on. Still feeling slighted from the last place we sought out, I didn't have the confidence this would go any better, because THIS owner was obviously busy! Mr. Bosch had a rap showcase happening in the back room, and he was setting up for 2 more events that would take place that evening as well! Do you know that man took the time to talk to me about my event!?! No, it wasn't a rushed conversation! He wanted to know my vision for my event, then explained how having it at the Aloha NYC Lounge would work. That young man was spot on!!!!! It was great!!!!!! We had such a wonderful time, we've decided to have "The Playa's Ball 2019" at Aloha NYC also!!!!! The place is kept immaculate! The staff are very professional and friendly! Walking in, is like walking into "Cheers!" I'm looking forward to you joining us for our next event there! Great job, Aloha NYC! ?????See you soon!!!!“
