“Absolutely a gem of a place! My daughter got a Cookie Monster milkshake and I got the most delicious mousse cake. Honestly there were so many choices we had to play Ennie Meenie Miney Mo to choose which one to get. Not pictured: the chocolate cupcake she devoured in 2 seconds. Run, don't walk, to Soulmate Cafe.“

“Stopped in for the first time over the weekend and was very happy with our visit! The pastries/pies we tried were all very delicious and tasted like they were made from quality ingredients. Everyone that worked there were also super friendly and helpful. It was hard not to leave with additional goodies that I wasn’t originally intending on!“

“They did an amazing job on my daughter’s unicorn birthday cake, it literally took my breath away when I saw it! My 4 year old had the same reaction! My daughter is allergic to sesame and tree nuts, so I’m thrilled to have found this bakery for all of her celebration cakes!“

“A simple local Turkish bakery. We along with couple other customers were given delicious cookie sample without asking. It has the hospitality feel reminisced of the good old bakery from childhood. Very reasonable prices. Variety is limited to several types of baklava, cookies and some breads as it’s a small place.“
“I like the selection of ready meals. It makes it very convenient to have dinner ready quick without too much effort. The prices for the prepared/hot food is reasonable. They are also very delicious. The regular grocery items are a little pricey compared to places like Costco, BJ’s and Walmart. I don’t like that they make you go all the way around the different isles, probably to make you buy things you were looking to buy. That makes me waste time when I’m in a hurry. They have a big parking lot with plenty of empty spaces every time. They also have a nice selection of flowers at good prices when compared to a regular flower shop, but more expensive than Trader Joe’s.“

“Came to Sander's to get some kosher baked goods for my coworkers. I really wanted to get some donuts, but it was too early in the morning, and they were still baking them. Ended up getting some rugelach that were fresh from the oven. The rugelach were a hit in the office. The staff really liked them. My coworker who was kosher really liked them too. A bunch of people just kept eating them throughout the day. The rugelach were delicious. The chocolate was good. The pastry wasn't too sweet. The vanilla ones were great too, but I really liked the chocolate ones the best. They have a dress code that they post in front of the store before you go in. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes, cover your knees, and shoulders. It shouldn't be a problem in the winter though. If you want some good baked goods, Sander's is a great option. If you're like me and wanting to pick up some kosher pastries, I would check which certification your friend/coworker accept as there are many they may or may not eat.“

“We come here often for authentic Italian pastries, gelato and granita. Everything is fresh and delicious. We took a class recently and made delicious ravioli, arancini and pistachio cookies. The class with Chef Andrea (owner) was so much fun and I highly recommend it for a fun night out with friends or family or even a date night. There are a maximum of ten students (so not crowded at all) and you get to sample what you have made and take enough home for a meal the next day. Chef Andrea explains the ingredients and technique and then you proceed to prepare the items under his supervision. He explains how to source the items you will need to make items at home and gives you printed easy to follow instructions to take home. He is funny, patient and great to work with. We can't wait to take another class with him!!“
“***4 1/2 stars**I'm not sure how crazy I am about this place being a few blocks from where I live, but I suppose that's not Mo & Jay's fault. I've been aware of this bakery/pastry establishment for a few years (I think it showed up in this relatively new apartment building on Main Street two or three years ago), but hadn't actually thought to go inside until yesterday morning. I was entrusted with obtaining a dessert for a weekend BBQ, and it occurred to me that this was at least the easiest spot to quickly grab something. The fact that the desserts were extremely good ended up being a pleasant accident/bonus.I brought one of my top tier chums to assist with the purchase. From very brief research, it seemed like the eclairs were the big selling point here. I thought it would also be a little wily on my part to get them because I tend to not enjoy eating food that has stuff in it, and figured I'd be unlikely to do anything too naughty with that. That turned out not to be accurate, but I digress. We got the five for $25 éclair deal, and procured a raspberry, a lemon meringue, a nutella, a pistachio and a cookies & cream. Just as we were about to wrap up, I also impulsively grabbed a cheddar/bacon scone, which was humongous and understandably caught my eye.The eclairs were definitely a hit. My personal favorite was the cookies & cream. The flavor was incredibly on point, and it was almost like a meta ice cream experience. The only issue with that one specifically was that the cream inside was runnier than the other pastries, which made it a little messy. Not a huge deal. The runner-up was probably the raspberry for me. Again, extremely flavorful, almost to a fault - it was overwhelmingly tart, which is obviously kind of a calling card for raspberries but if you're not into that, I'd stay away. The nutella was actually a little on the bland side for me but not bad. The lemon meringue was a big hit for everyone else, but I'm not a huge fan of that flavor to begin with - I don't think that's a mark against this place by any means. In hindsight, we probably wouldn't have gotten the pistachio, but none of us are hardcore pistachio fans. The cream consistency and dough for all of these was very high quality, and understandably a lot of this is going to come down to how you feel about specific flavors. In a final twist later on, I sampled the scone around dinner time and was very pleasantly surprised - the scone was very moist and tasty, and was reminiscent of a Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit, though probably at least twice the size and with actual pieces of bacon in it. Very strong recommend on that front. The service was very good. We had a pleasant female cashier assisting us as my chum was literally squatting on the ground eagerly peering into the display case squealing out flavors to get. Zero issues there, and we were in and out within a few minutes uneventfully. There were also a lot of cakes and other types of pastries, so I expect I'll be returning shortly to obtain their assistance with another BBQ.“

“I left a 5 star review but updating to share a few videos. The knafa has more of a savory sweet taste vs. other bakeries that drench it with syrup. Anytime I go, I get the znoot el sit, which is soft on the top and middle, and crispy at the bottom. So good!“

“So I saw this place on Groupon and thought "why not I like Rugelach". bought it and used right away. I went in at a weird time ( about 4pm on a Saturday night) and there weren't very many rugelach left. The owner gave me a free sample and I instantly knew why. They are amazing! They were fresh (warm) and tasted great. I sampled the apricot and then bought the raspberry and chocolate. The Apricot was the best tasting of all of them; the raspberry was the best I have ever had; and the chocolate was also great! I also bought some chocolate chip cookies. They were also very good, but the best hands down were the rugelach. It was a tiny bit hard to find at first. It is in this strip mall next to Dunkin Donuts, on route 46. I will definitely be back and this place will likely become my go to place for holidays at my in-laws.“

“Lovely Bakery Cafe with a classic, relaxed ambience and old world charm. Came late afternoon on Presidents Day and there were lots of customers but also plentiful seats available. The croissant lived up to its reputation! It was large, crumbly and flaky on the outside and very affordably priced. Cashier was very friendly too! She offered to heat up our croissant and brought it out to us on a plate. This place is definitely worth a visit!“

Highly recommend and I know I'm dying to try the rest of their menu when I get the chance.“
“Their pastries are amazing. The service is amazing. Sweet sugary goodness. Got addicted after a coworker brought a box of the pecan danish's and I will never go anywhere else. What's nice is that you can place an order before hand for pick up since those go out super fast by high demand. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays which is a bummer but definitely give them a try. Small bakery but big impact on your taste buds! Love it!“

“It's not my first time and it won't be my last. Maybe the best desserts and cakes you can find in New Jersey are here. Not just dessert varieties. The breakfast is also amazing. If you like Mediterranean cuisine, especially Turkish cuisine, visit Paterson, New Jersey. I went there for breakfast both on weekends and during the week, but I think it was better on the weekend. That's why I recommend you to go for breakfast on the weekend. I have been drinking Turkish tea and eating desserts for years, but I have not seen any decrease in its taste over the years. It means that he keeps his cook well ? “

“I've included 5 stars for this place because this bread has been a staple in my life. Also, the problem may be only for me and a select few. Has anyone else noticed a difference in the taste of the bread. I'm not sure if it's the flour or the seeds but to us, the bread has a bitter after taste, almost like the taste of drinking a diet soda compared to regular. My wife an I have actually gotten headaches after eating it. I've called the bakery and inquired about it but the guy on the phone said everything is the same. I was wondering if maybe their suppliers have changed their sources on where they are buying the flour or the seeds. I even went as far as buying similar bread from 2 other reputable bakeries and found no problems, only the taste of fresh bread. I hope the Fragale family is reading this, so they can do their diligence finding out what's different.“

“Very charming little coffee spot! Super chill atmosphere and relaxed. Quiet for days that you want 'work from home' but not be stuck at home. There is plenty of parking with a few municipal lots and street parking as well. We did ceramic painting and there are plenty of options of items you can paint although we just stuck with mugs. I think there is a time limit when you make the reservations for the painting but it was a quiet day and they let us take our time. It is a neat little activity to do on a rainy day with friends and a cute coffee spot if you want a change from dunkin/starbucks in the area.“

The staff is very friendly, the owner is so professional and helpful, many times he accepted my last minute order or changes and finished them in time and the best part is their coffee. “I am a Gluten Free individual that suffers from FOMO. While everyone sits around and enjoys their desserts, I just sit back and watch with a frown on my face. I stumbled upon this place while my daughter was at a nearby piercing establishment. I went in and was greeted by a lovely lady behind the counter. While I was looking at what options were available for me, that lovely lady offered me to sample an item. Never before have I ever been offered a sample of anything Gluten Free. And we all no why that happens. Most of the time the Gluten Free products are horrible; dense, stale, no taste, etc. The item she offered was not good.................it was the best tasting bakery item I have ever had. When I told her that, she offered another item, and another item, and another item. I no longer needed to eat dinner. I was in heaven. I ending up buying three items to take home with me. I shared them with my family members and they agreed that the items was delicious. I will no be a customer for life.......................even so living 50 miles from this bakery.“

“The bread is very good, only the attention that some workers there give is what would change, when someone asked for a tray the lady responded with a bad attitude and a bad temper, and one greets her out of politeness and she only looks bad, but the rest I think the bread is very tasty and there is a good variety of bread.“
