I tried the scrambled egg in croissant, smoked salmon in challah roll, strawberry cardamom tart, dark chocolate eclair, and pain au chocolat — every single thing was outstanding. The coffee was delicious too, obviously.

A huge thank you to Maya and Ashley for being so fantastic. They are both incredibly kind, efficient, and welcoming, making sure every customer is taken care of with a smile. On top of the stellar service, the food was flawless. The quiche is phenomenal. Perfectly flavorful, fresh, and highly recommended to anyone stopping by. “Appreciation post😃 Since 4 days my freshly turned teenage daughter has been saying one thing when I ask her what you want to do on New Year’s Eve …” I want to have kudos bubble tea as the last thing I drink in 2022”. It’s been a tough few months for her and i wanted to make sure she gets her wish. So yesterday morning I called kudos. Asked when they will close for the day. They said 10pm. We scheduled all our plans in such a way that at 9pm we go and get the much anticipated bubble tea. At 9 my husband, son and daughter headed out to kudos… only to find that they have closed at 7 for a private event. This is my back story. On the other side of the story… which probably has its own back story… Cherie the owner had shut the bakery as her daughter wanted to celebrate with her friends and family. As a mother myself I can totally understand that. When she saw my family she informed them that they are closed. But when she heard we had called in morning and saw my daughters dejected face… she opened her doors. Made a quick bubble tea and even gave some extra cookies as a New Years treat. My kids came back so happy saying “mommy it was a holiday miracle!” Thank you Kudo Society Cafe. For providing us one last 2022 miracle. Thank you Cherie for understanding. We have been Kudos patrons since it was at palisades park but now we are die hard advocating neighbors of yours. Ps: pic of the cookie treat. My son ate the red velvet on way home.“

The food is excellent (or has consistent quality as in the other stores). The guy who looked like a store manager warmed up my bread before giving out. It might be a standard thing, but since he asked me first, I’d take it as an extra..

I read couple of one and two star rated comments, which to me seems exceptional cases, or relative to specific employee. For negative comments, the store manager literally writes back with the sincere apology (you can check it out).

“We came in just to get a little bit of an energy boost for our concert later and OMG, the setup is so cute, we were greeted coming to the counter and nicely informed us of the options available, we didn't have to wait too long to get the coffee. we even decided to drink them there and so worth it, the atmosphere is super fun and freeing compared to other coffee shop snobs. “I had a great experience at paris Baguette while visiting New York. Everything I tried tasted really good the coffee, hot chocolate, and pastries were all delicious. The location is very convenient, especially since it’s so close to Penn Station.

The only downside was that the bathroom wasn’t very clean, but that’s understandable given how crowded the city is, especially during the Christmas season. Overall, I highly recommend this place for great coffee, hot chocolate, and tasty pastries.“

“I’ve been to various Paris Baguette locations around Central Jersey, and honestly, I wasn’t a huge fan… until recently. Let me explain.

At one location I frequented, the coffee had really disappointed me. Once upon a time, their coffee was delicious, with rich, chocolatey notes, but the last few visits left me with bitter, almost burnt-tasting drinks, and no amount of milk could fix it. This was surprising, since they supposedly use LavAzza beans. I also never loved their cakes; I often found them too heavy on icing and light on actual cake.

However, on a recent trip while shopping at 99 Ranch Market (which is conveniently right next door), we decided to give Paris Baguette another try and treat ourselves to pastries. I was immediately impressed by their selection and how frequently the display was refilled. Every item was behind a glass case, which felt very clean and hygienic.
The staff at the counter were friendly and helpful. They asked if we had a rewards account, and it turned out none of us had signed up, or our accounts had expired.

The cashiers were great at making the hot beverages, and they asked if we had a rewards program with them. We gave them our phone numbers, and it turned out none of us had signed up or that they expired.

Here's what we purchased:
- Cafe Mocha - 5/5 stars. Perfect balance of espresso and chocolate. The barista even made a heart on top. Although the lid covered it, the gesture was appreciated.
- Cold Brew - 5/5 stars. Smooth and refreshing.
- Chausson aux Pommes - 4/5 stars. A French apple turnover with a perfectly crisp crust and tender, flavorful apples that weren’t mushy.
- Croissant Donut - 5/5 stars. Flaky, buttery croissant-like in shape of a donut, filled with custard that was bright due to the citrus, and well-balanced between sweet and savory.
- Blueberry & Cream Brioche - 5/5 stars. Their crust was crispy and light. It was an indulgent treat that was well balanced as the custard was rich, soft, and just sweet enough without being heavy.

Patrons can help themselves to cream, milk, utensils, and napkins, which is convenient. The seating is roomy and relaxing, perfect for lingering over coffee and pastries.

It’s located in the Home Depot strip mall. Parking is usually easy on weekdays, but weekends can get a little hectic.

Overall, this visit completely changed my opinion of Paris Baguette. The coffee and pastries were impeccable, and the environment made for a pleasant, stress-free experience. Definitely worth a stop if you’re nearby.“
