“Wish Upon a Pastry is a great Disney Inspired bakery in NJ. Michele and Torre, the owners are so nice and great to work with. They have really unique baked goods that are all absolutely delicious. They also take special orders. They are not dedicated gluten free but they offer a lot of gluten free options that are just as delicious as their other bakery items. “I visited this cozy bakery to see what everyone was raving about in the comments. After going in, the owner popped up and without saying a single word, he offered us his delicious pistachio cookie! “Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

🥐 breakfast sandwich w/ bacon
🥐 bacon, egg & cheese hand pie
🥐 baked potato pretzel twist
🥐 banana bread
🥐 espresso chai scone
🥐 pineapple upside down crueller

And we drank ice coffee, warm apple cider and an iced chai.

Some of the flavors are unexpected but I think that’s what makes this place fun. The laminated dough was insane. So flakey. So buttery. Soooo good. The baked potato pretzel twist and breakfast sandwich on everything roll were my favorites - could’ve eaten 12 of each.“

“Waited was annoyed by everything going on. presented his dis pleasure well to us. All the food was fabulous, but my Swordfish and my wife's had a Cyanne pepper Kick. It hit you when you took a bite of the fish and stayed with you. I had to drink water after every bite. i have been here many times and never had this happen. I tried to tell the waited but he wouldn't give me the time of day and the last thing for 5 of us he added 15% to the bill clearly marked tip. with the space empty for me to fill in more. NOT ever seen that. A great place that the management needs to take a serious Look at.“

“I ordered a cake for my baby shower this past weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! Despina was wonderful to work with and executed exactly what I was looking for, fitting the theme perfectly. The cake was not only beautiful but also tasted amazing. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it, and even one of the restaurant staff asked me where it was from because he couldn’t believe how delicious it was. The cake truly made the event extra special. I can’t recommend them enough and look forward to ordering again in the future!“

“I stopped here on a whim driving home and I’m so glad I did. Super friendly workers who asked how I was while they were making my order and one even brought my bag of food to me as I was waiting by the front door.

We ordered the Chipotle Chicken and Chino’s Special subs to go (hero sizes). Both were incredible! The CC had a really nice kick to it and complimented the crispy chicken cutlet very well. Chino’s Special was my favorite - a messy sub with a generous helping of turkey meat with a runny egg.

My family of 3 wished we had more space in our stomachs to finish everything. The hero sized subs are large, and absolutely worth the price especially with similar restaurants charging the same, if not more, for a mediocre sub. We will be back for more!“

“Looooved the atmosphere at this cute Puerto Rican owned cafe. The coquito latte?! AMAZING. My friend got the avocado toast and I got the breakfast sandwich on Mexican bread. 9/10! The only downfall was that people were comfortably seated and no one was really policing the tables, but my friend and I finally got a seat and were able to enjoy the experience a little better.“
