“My first time trying the Real Fruit Bubble Tea. This location is new and looks amazing. Lots of sitting space. There are three self ordering kiosk. Menu has variety of items like milk tea, green tea, smoothies, slush, juice and ice crush. All of them are customizable including choice of toppings, ice and sugar levels.

When I came to the store there was only one girl working very hard behind the counter. She was cooking the bubbles and preparing everyone’s drinks at the same time. She was notifying everyone that bubbles would take about 30 minutes to be available.

We got the strawberry banana smoothie and honey lemon green tea. Both drinks were good. I got lychee jelly with the green tea which was fresh and crunchy. Smoothie was light, had mixed flavor of the fruits.

I wish I got 25% sugar instead of half but it still tasted good. My friend got the mango coconut boom and she liked it.“

“Love coming here for bubble tea! Some of the best I’ve had in lower Manhattan. Service is quick and friendly too. Only a couple of barstools for seating so it’s more of an in-and-out kind of place. “I’ve visited Modern Tea Shop before, and was super happy with my drink (rose milk tea). Today I decided to try it again and go for a different flavor! They have a lot of floral-inspired teas which is unique and a great reason to go. I got the matcha jasmine milk tea (oat milk) with boba (50% sugar), and thought it was 7/10. The oat milk wasn’t as creamy, so it caused the drink to be a bit watery unfortunately. Also, the jasmine flavor was not very pronounced, either due to the way it’s made or the sugar level I chose. Not sure I would get that drink again, but would recommend the rose milk!“

“I came here because of their amazing 4.9 rating on Google Maps, however, I was not amazed by their food. I got curry puffs to start my dinner. The puffs were nice and flavorful. The outside was light and flaky, and the insides were well seasoned with nice texture. The sauce came with was too sweet to my liking. Personally I prefer eating it as it is. I pad see ew with shrimp and added beef($5). The flavor was nice and the shrimp was fresh and clean. However, the beef wasn’t so good especially when I paid $5 extra for them. “I ordered a Thai tea through the kiosk, but when I received it the taste was a little off — more bitter/sour than I expected. I asked about it, and the worker mentioned she had noticed the same thing earlier when she tried it. She kindly added more sugar, but it still wasn’t quite right for me, so I asked if I could switch to another drink.

The two girls working there were super professional and accommodating — they happily offered me a different drink instead. The new drink I got was delicious!

Good amount of food without too much rice, tasty ingredients and good spicy sauces. I order once to take out and then the next week I went to the store because was too good. I really recommend this place! Eat there or at home whatever just give a try and you'll love it.
As a plus I find the place very clean and felt like home (the bathroom was better than mine)
I order a large plate and it was enough for 2 people (we don't eat so much but we were both full and satisfied).
