“We stumbled across this place yesterday, we dipped in from the cold for a break and had a pleasant surprise, the staff were so welcoming and made sure we got a seat at the bar... later realised I had read about the bar previously, the hot dogs are a lovely touch and drinks amazing prices. x“

“I didnt eat there but my band soft spot played a show there. The band Lo Lux put it on and they did a fantastic job hosting, running sound and being one of the best bands I've played with !
As for the bar itself the staff was fantastic ! barely a wait for a drink even with a packed bar ! If you have a severe peanut allergey this may not be the place for you as they serve peanuts like a bar would serve pretzels with the shells being thrown to the floor. All in all aside from the peanut situation I would definitely recommend going and if you're lucky enough to catch Lo Lux, well you will have struck gold.“

“I went for the very first time for New Jersey Deathfest and found it to be the ideal venue for hard-core and metal. The sound is actually top notch and the staff is very friendly. The gritty decor and atmosphere is very reminiscent of a lot of the noteworthy DIY venues I used to go to in NYC during the 90's for metal and hardcore shows which made it all the more nostalgic for me. I would definitely return here for another show in the future.“

“If I can remember, I always come here every friday night. Which is karaoke night. So, my review will be based on that specific night only.
Been there few times on friday night. Very busy night, very long line of karaoke, but the DJ did a veryyy good job. He remembers people's faces, like literally remember who requested what. His great memory amazed me and not to mention there is no pause or break. So, eventho its a long line of karaoke, but you will eventually singing.
Bartenders are great, drinks okay. Prices normal for the area, drink sometimes good, sometimes meh.
But yea, so far its been pretty amazing experience.“

“Great local Irish bar. I was staying a week at a nearby hotel and this place had the exact Irish bar feel I needed. I instantly felt like a regular they were glad to see, coming and going. Proper for an Irish place. Good pours on the beers. I was here for the first 2016 Presidential Debates and there was a lot of opinions, but in true NYC style, nobody got bent, no matter how much of a (&%$g idiot the other person was.“

“I’ve lived around the corner for years and finally stopped in a couple months ago to watch the Yankees. It’s great! The bartenders are friendly.
The food from here is killer, too. Did not think the bar food would hit the way it did. I’ve now had most things on the menu. It’s all fire.
It’s my go to bar in the neighborhood!“

“This was easily the highlight of my solo-trip in NYC. The bartender is delightful, the owner has stories for years, and I made friends that night that will last to greet me next trip. Also, while cash only, the drinks are INCREDIBLY well priced, but you won't notice until after you've dances with a stranger from a great jukebox play.“

“Absolutely the best place to go to Grab a drink after work , Have some Lunch, Watch the Game meet some amazing people, Phenomenal customer service and randomly go play some pinball in the back, while playing giant Connect four or Jenga. even eat or drink outside. great environment, my favorite go to bar and I live in The Bronx. Great Drinks, Great Food, Great Staff what more could you ask for.“

“Great vibe and drinks. However, when I paid for the first round of drinks, they presented the bill in a way that covered the line for 20% gratuity that was automatically added due to the large party I had just joined. Guess that’s on me for not triple checking, but I double tipped.“
“Definitely a fun bar to hang out in and the staff was very personable. The drinks were decently priced and there were plenty of places to sit and space out between groups. The only drawback is the overly loud music at some points which can make conversation difficult.“

He made such an impression to his golden smile, his positive down-to-earth demeanor, his outstanding communication made you feel like he was not only your server/bartender but also your best friend, your therapist, and a loving Father/ and or brother relative however. “Atmosphere, the people, food is great. Taylor is a great, and attentive bartender. Daily food specials besides what’s on the main menu. Sundays during football season, seafood (crab legs, mussels, etc). The prices are extremely fair, far from expensive even if you do get good. Will definitely be visiting again.“
