“We stumbled across this place yesterday, we dipped in from the cold for a break and had a pleasant surprise, the staff were so welcoming and made sure we got a seat at the bar... later realised I had read about the bar previously, the hot dogs are a lovely touch and drinks amazing prices. x“

“I went for the very first time for New Jersey Deathfest and found it to be the ideal venue for hard-core and metal. The sound is actually top notch and the staff is very friendly. The gritty decor and atmosphere is very reminiscent of a lot of the noteworthy DIY venues I used to go to in NYC during the 90's for metal and hardcore shows which made it all the more nostalgic for me. I would definitely return here for another show in the future.“

“We went for bottomless brunch and it was great! Food was pretty good, not spectacular but good portions and tasted good. Bottomless mimosas were definitely bottomless. The waitress was attentive and kept our refills coming despite the place getting pretty busy towards the end of our time. Prices weren't bad either.
The ambience is very cool. The music was amazing! Drake, Chris Brown, R&B from the early 2000s, and Latin pop.
We saw they have pretty good happy hour deals so we will definitely be coming back during the week!“

“What a great find when we visited NYC! We are already planning our next trip to the city just to come back.“
“So I stumbled here after hours, I met a bunch of nice people. The bar is a little old school. I was told it's quite famous but over anything this place bring back a moment where being on phones weren't needed. Where you can meet strangers and have a good time where drinks are made old school and it's a great time. I am sure he doesn't care about this rating but it's a must visit if your open to anyone for a small talk.“

“Great local Irish bar. I was staying a week at a nearby hotel and this place had the exact Irish bar feel I needed. I instantly felt like a regular they were glad to see, coming and going. Proper for an Irish place. Good pours on the beers. I was here for the first 2016 Presidential Debates and there was a lot of opinions, but in true NYC style, nobody got bent, no matter how much of a (&%$g idiot the other person was.“

“If I can remember, I always come here every friday night. Which is karaoke night. So, my review will be based on that specific night only.
Been there few times on friday night. Very busy night, very long line of karaoke, but the DJ did a veryyy good job. He remembers people's faces, like literally remember who requested what. His great memory amazed me and not to mention there is no pause or break. So, eventho its a long line of karaoke, but you will eventually singing.
Bartenders are great, drinks okay. Prices normal for the area, drink sometimes good, sometimes meh.
But yea, so far its been pretty amazing experience.“

“I’ve lived around the corner for years and finally stopped in a couple months ago to watch the Yankees. It’s great! The bartenders are friendly.
The food from here is killer, too. Did not think the bar food would hit the way it did. I’ve now had most things on the menu. It’s all fire.

“Great vibe and drinks. However, when I paid for the first round of drinks, they presented the bill in a way that covered the line for 20% gratuity that was automatically added due to the large party I had just joined. Guess that’s on me for not triple checking, but I double tipped.“

“Absolutely the best place to go to Grab a drink after work , Have some Lunch, Watch the Game meet some amazing people, Phenomenal customer service and randomly go play some pinball in the back, while playing giant Connect four or Jenga. even eat or drink outside. great environment, my favorite go to bar and I live in The Bronx. Great Drinks, Great Food, Great Staff what more could you ask for.“
“Definitely a fun bar to hang out in and the staff was very personable. The drinks were decently priced and there were plenty of places to sit and space out between groups. The only drawback is the overly loud music at some points which can make conversation difficult.“

He made such an impression to his golden smile, his positive down-to-earth demeanor, his outstanding communication made you feel like he was not only your server/bartender but also your best friend, your therapist, and a loving Father/ and or brother relative however. Brian puts the cozy in the Cozy Tavern with his exceptional sevice and warm gentle personality that would make any atmosphere feel cozy and make anyone feel at home. All to cheers to Brian ?“

“We found Kelly’s with a tip from Sonja’s brother. Totally enjoyed the “Kelly’s scene for the next few years . Drank with the finest people NY has to offer. Memories of Stella flood my mind. “Atmosphere, the people, food is great. Taylor is a great, and attentive bartender. Daily food specials besides what’s on the main menu. Sundays during football season, seafood (crab legs, mussels, etc). The prices are extremely fair, far from expensive even if you do get good. Will definitely be visiting again.“
