“I like that they offer a $10 lunch special, including veg and plantain with a soda...but it's only chicken. But seriously...you not gonna oder just that! You gotta get a patty or festival or something else that catches your eye. I had the curry chicken (a little spice but good) and a beef patty, bc they were out of chicken. I ate almost everything...and I don't feel bad about it! Will visit again, but try to avoid the out of school kids.“

I have OCD & I'm very picky about how I like my food plated... I know this can be annoying for some, but this place has never given me grief about it. We're paying for it, so oblige. All in all... “Absolutely one of the best jerk chicken lunch I’ve ever had in years. My mother ate their Oxtail stew dish and it was delicious too. Full flavoured food with excellent quality & portion. Friendly helpful staff are also welcoming. I bought the fried whiting fish fillets and some fried chicken wings to take home. Will definitely be back again to eat all the other dishes! Yummy ? proper jerk chicken with rice & beans that were moist not dry like other places we’ve tried in Manhattan.

“Finally found my way to Juici Patties at the Bronx Terminal Boogue Down Food Hall tucked away in the back on the left hand side.
After from a friend picked up some at the zjuici Pattie Brooklyn location and show me some pictures and raved about them I had to get my hand on my own.
Let me tell you I was so happy that I did!

I ordered two chicken patties.
They were perfectly cooked with nice mini bits of chicken throughout and weren't soupy throughout like other patties are when you bite into them.
The patti was layers of super flaky crust and seasoned perfectly. Each bite melted in your mouth.
I will definitely be returning!!“

“Food is excellent. I wish it was a little bigger. Lunch time the line is long they need more room. In the back the cook need more room as well. Excellent seafood soup ,whole fish dinner must try. All the soups are great. Good food . Eat there 2 or 3 times a week.“

“Been coming to Melting Pot for years. The food is always solid and consistent. I haven’t tried anything from here that I don’t like. Jerk chicken and oxtail is always fresh and flavorful. They make a fresh pineapple ginger juice that’s amazing. Everyone I’ve brought here always enjoy the food.“

“They hooked me up! Delicious food; good portions. I usually get oxtail from Jamaican restaurants. I'd say it's one of the top of the restaurants I've eaten from.

That said, oxtail is generally an expensive meat to buy and can be hard to cook right. So, it can be difficult to find places like this that give you a decent amount. And I've orderd from them a few times, so I can say their potion size is generally consistent from what I've seen.“

“My partner and I decided to try this place based on the reviews and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint! We ordered the large jerk chicken meal, macaroni and cheese, and small chicken soup! This is a hole in the wall spot! Our food was DELICIOUS! I will 100% be ordering again but a LARGE chicken soup. The soup had so much flavor and the chicken just slipped off the bone! The mac also had so much flavor and was so good! The jerk chicken was a bit spicy for me but I don’t have a high tolerance to spice. My partner said it was good! He couldn’t decide what part was his favorite and said he would go back again! The service was great! Next time you get gas, help yourself to some hearty, home cooked Jamaican food!!“

“This is a great place to eat. Vendors are friendly and food is really good. The j*** chicken was my favorite (really hot, yes!) and the rice is soft, well cooked. They also have a variety of salad mix. The potato salad was really good. I'm not a fish eater but even the seafood smell good. Price is reasonable, I think it's 9$ a pound but less money if the weight is less. It's definitely worth it.

I maybe waited like 5 minutes in total (ordering and getting it out). Just don’t stand there like a zombie waiting to be attended to… As a Dominican and fellow Caribbean person, the food was delicious. Some Dominicans also add the bigger beans in our rice and peas (Moro de guandules), but that’s like a niche Caribbean thing. LOVE THAT. That’s how I know it’s authentic. I got jerk chicken with rice and peas, sweet plantain and cabbage, and I got a beef patty with coco bread for my son. The chicken was cooked well and was juicy and the rice and peas wasn’t mushy or overly dry. I didn’t even take a picture because it looked so good I just started eating once I got home. “Not the older women but that lady at the counter needs to be fired. Her attitude , her appearance is sooo gross that as much as I like the food it makes me spend less money in this establishment. Asking for any more sauces, chicken , utensil can send her off the deep end and because she’s is dealing with your food you are forced to play nice. The first time I figured she was having a bad day or her husband left her for that bad attitude which I can understand but it’s every SINGLE time.
