“As Indian Vegetarians, we absolutely love this place. They explain everything on the menu very sweetly.
Be sure to get:
- bibambap in hot stone bowl with tofu option
- tofu soup with ramen (be sure to mention “vegetarian broth” so they don’t use the beef broth)
Overall highly recommend. Very vegetarian friendly“
“I had the sopa de fideo y pollo and it was very good. Going back to try more stuff because it was not overseasoned and there are so many options. Plus it was super clean in here. People are so sensitive nowadays so if you’re looking for that yt customer service, you won’t get that here but they were friendly enough.“

“Lobster roll is small but good for the price ($18 including tax). They didn't have the shrimp corn chowder so I tried the clam chowder. It was watery but ok, a little too much carrots for my taste. I would give the lobster roll a try, but due to the high price, I wouldn't buy it again (To be fair it's $22-24 in my home city and it didn't have as much lobster like this one). I would give a different type of soup another try though. I tried the lobster bisque - it was good! Worth a try!
Pay with cash to save 3%.“

“From all the hype and reels and videos about the place I expected a lot.
Ramen was good but a bit flat in flavors.
I ordered the combo set with added toppings but ended up getting the basic dish and only half way through the rest arrived.
The Macha desert was great.“

“I love Thai food in general and I have had a lot of it a lot of different places. This is the best chicken pad see ew I think I’ve ever had. The view of 1st Ave is super cute and they played great music so I can’t have asked for a better atmosphere and vibe. The service was lovely and fast. Presentation of the food was also a step above and the place is super clean. I’d highly recommend and I hope I come back soon too. Only complaint was $6 for a sparkling water which I didn’t realize I’d be charged for. Oh well. I’ll skip it next time.“

“You cannot beat their happy hour! Each piece of sushi is around double the size of your typical NYC piece. I also got the sushi tacos and those were fun and different from what I typically get. I also got a bottle of the cold sake. I will definitely be coming back here soon!“

“Beautiful space with delicious food. If you have never tried Hot Pot before this is a great place to share with friends or family. Jasmine and Cindy took care of us and made recommendations that we loved. It was hard to stop. Definitely be back to try some new flavors!“

“Simplemente impresionante. No pensamos que algo así pudiera existir en NY. Los sabores propuestos son increíbles. El valor no está en las paredes o mobiliario, sino en lo que llevas a tu paladar y la atención personalísima, atenta y divertida. Gracias, gracias, gracias...“

“Dweji-gomtang (pork bone broth soup) is really smooth and clear. You could taste the richness of the pork while drinking the broth. The pork is slicing into really thin slices and it goes really well with the gochu-ji. The spicyness balances the greasy taste of the pork. The side dish kimchi radish is crisp and balanced the whole dish. The restaurant is a little bit small and doesn’t have a lot of space, but definitely worth a try for its pork broth soup“

“Sono stato in questo ristorante con la famiglia nel corso della nostra ultima vacanza a New York e devo esprimere il massimo apprezzamento per il locale che ci ha proposto una cucina ottima con una varietà soddisfacente oltre ad un servizio attento e veloce...non ultimo l'ambiente che si è dimostrato tranquillo e non rumoroso permettendoci di conversare e rilassarci (per New York non è un dettaglio da poco)...consigliatissimo.“

“Excellent place, I have pretty much given up on buying lunch out because the disappointment ratio has become so high but today I decided to give it another try and just deal with the disappointment of another overpriced less than good sandwich. I work all over northern NJ and it has become very hard to find a real Italian deli however, today I stopped into Angelina's and although I already knew what I wanted I decided to ask what they recommend incase there was a special or maybe they have a best seller. They recommended "the Salvatore" which was exactly what I was after. The sandwich was the correct size and packed full of cold cuts. They didn't do the usual "let's keep making the product smaller but charge more" that you see everywhere. They make a true sandwich and charge a reasonable price. if you look up Italian deli in the dictionary there should be a picture of Angelina's its exactly what anyone who is over 40 years old remembers as a true New Jersey Deli. Thank you for a great lunch! I can't wait to get another job in that area so I can stop in!“

“Kbap & Wings in Midtown Manhattan is the perfect spot for comforting Korean food under $15. The 6-piece soy garlic or snow cheese wings are a must-try for just $12—crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. Don’t miss the chewy rice cake skewers or the hearty bulgogi kimbap. Pair it all with a refreshing Milkis, and you’ve got the perfect meal!“

“Looking for an old-school midtown Manhattan bar with martinis, beer, and friendly staff? P.J. Carney’s Pub is the real deal. I’ve stopped in wearing professional clothes after client meetings and also in dance gear after class… either way, it’s relaxed and welcoming. So few bars in Midtown feel this easy. The wings are great, the drinks are strong, and the vibe is no-nonsense. In a city full of overpriced hype, this hidden gem near the N/W subway line stands out as one of the best neighborhood bars in Manhattan.“

“Chola is easily the best Indian restaurant in all of Manhattan and Northern Jersey. My wife and I drive in bi-weekly for their awesome food and ever changing menu. The staff is incredible and friendly, we've gotten to know them all and consider them personal friends at this point. Any time we can, we take friends and family to Chola. It's is the best!“

“This is high-end, UES, Italian dining at its finest. Great food, great wine list, great service, and high prices. We started with the pasta special, segued to the house salad and then had the cioppino. Had a beautiful Brunello and fruit with Sabayon sauce for dessert. A place for a special occasion. We will definitely return.“

“Luke's lobster is known for the lobster dishes, as the lobster rolls but I went there looking for a clam chowder (New England style) and wasn't disappointed. Creamy and tasty. I missed a touch of bacon, but I guess this is not on the traditional recipe.
And next time I should definitely go for the lobster roll.
It's a small and cozy place. You can dine in or take away.“

“This was our first time dining at Benjamin Steakhouse. It was fantastic. Would highly recommend and plan to go back again. The steak was one of the best I've ever had. Cooked perfect. The service was impeccable. We had a group of 6 and asked to order several items and share. The servers treated us like VIPs, serving us family style and making sure we moved through the dinner with ease. The restaurant was not noisy like many in NY can be. 10 out of 10 for this steakhouse.“

“They are known for making their own tofu. Their tofu soup is pretty good. They have this powder, which I think is perilla powder, that gives it a unique broth flavor. Bibimbap is good as well; the pork is marinated very well and is tender. I don't really like the service here tho. I asked which dish do you recommend, and they said everything and just walked me through the items in the menu lol. Food also takes a while to come out.“

“I met a friend for breakfast and submitted two menu items for dinner.
The food tasted better than I expected, but while I was eating the soup I ordered, I felt a bit uncomfortable feeling the thin sand chewing on the rice.
I was halfway through eating it because I couldn't eat it anymore so I threw it away.
I enjoyed the dogani soup and beef stew, but while eating the soup, I felt the crunchy feeling of sand that I felt from the siraegi...
Ha... it was really bad.ㅠㅠ
I think it would be a good idea to wash the rice cooker more thoroughly.“

“The food was super hot (temperature wise) and well seasoned, spice levels on point (but can request + - spice) The prices are really reasonable when picking up. Definitely recommend. Super nice service and quick food. We should be patronizing restaurants like these, independently owned by hard working people. Will definitely add this to my list of regular places to eat at/takeout.“

“We had a delightful lunch at Ari! Living in Upstate NY, we really miss having fresh, quality sushi—so this absolutely hit the spot. We kept it light since we were running around the city, but everything we ordered was fresh and satisfying: a California roll, spicy salmon roll, and hot sake.
The atmosphere is quaint and quiet, and the service was excellent. Plus, it was an easy walk from Times Square. We’re already looking forward to coming back next time we’re in town!“

“Fish banh mi is the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. The fish is SUPER fresh and tender/flakey, the fish fillet breading is not too thick, the fresh made house baguette is soft (not stale at all), the pickled carrots also tasted fresh and not like they’ve been sitting around like other banh mi spots. Love they have a wide delivery radius and go downtown. The fried chicken banh mi is flavorful too but spicy.“

“As authentic and hole in the wall as it gets, and as tasty as it gets. My friend took me here twice, once in 2018 and once in 2023, and I am so happy to have witnessed this establishment survive through the pandemic because it absolutely deserves it. The place barely had spaces so we had to wait until someone left, but luckily people would be in and out anyway, just like they would back in China. Once again, the vibes were screaming China in all manners not only from the store, but also from the customers.
Every dish I have had was a hit. The chicken with chili sauce had very authentic chili sauce and lots of pieces of chicken and was just amazing. I don't really have any words to describe it because it was just authentically good, if that makes sense. The noodles were great as well with a lot of flavor, and tasted just like what I would have when I was in China. Again, I don't know how else to describe how good it was. One really needs to try it to know what I mean.
With so many restaurants in New York, I may still choose to come back here because it's economical and has quality food, both of which probably factors allowing this establishment to survive through the pandemic. Highly recommend!“

“This is a lovely restaurant..we were the only ones dining there at 4pm on a Thursday, but my oh my were our dishes a gastronome's delight...the garlic chili noodles, mapo tofu, and dry pot beef were indescribably delicious. The young man who served us was also behind the register and he never returned to ask whether we needed anything...BUT he quickly came to our table when I got his attention. He graciously packed my leftovers for carryout after misunderstanding and placing more fire in the table top stove underneath my dry pot beef. I would definitely return to Baodega to try some other dishes!“

“Small place for takeout. Was craving bahn mi and got bbq pork. Pork was really tasty. would get without mayo next time given fatty pork. Pickled carrots were not very or at all pickled (which the sandwich really needed). I’ve had a lot of banh mis and can’t tell you what is authentic or not but not my favorite type of bread. It’s like an old school French bread. Yes there is a crust but it’s not crusty. So no real crunch from crust, more chewy. Not my favorite style. Not sure about trying other things. Could not find the words “nước chấm” anywhere…“

“We’ve been here in 2021 and made the long trip back to New York just to savor that incredible mac&cheese again.
It’s so great to see how much this place has grown.
The cheese is absolutely divine, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is just perfect.
I highly recommend it! ????“

“We were in the area and wanted some Chinese food, so we looked around the area and saw that this was one of the higher-rated places. I also noticed that they only take cash and do phone orders. We called on the phone, placed our order, then made our way over. We paid in cash and got the food. I ordered the boneless spare ribs combination platter, which comes with a roast pork egg roll and roast pork fried rice. We also got a small wonton soup. The boneless spare ribs were really good, striking a good balance between the sweet and savory that boneless spare ribs typically have. The roast pork egg roll was delicious and savory. Everything else, though, was not as good. The roast pork fried rice was pretty bland, as were the wontons and the broth that the wontons came with. For the price, though, it was reasonable, so I am not too upset.“

“Is there anything as comforting on a cold night as slurping thin rice noodles from a rich, deep, stewed-for-hours broth? Others might disagree, but it was what my taste buds were screaming for on a recent blustering cold night. My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant, and the short version of this review is that we not only satisfied my cravings, but I think we've found our favorite Vietnamese spot in the area.
I was bemused by the way they display comically oversized versions of their menu at every table. What I initially considered to be somewhat gimmicky turned out to be quite convenient since everyone at the table was simultaneously viewing the same menu while discussing ordering options.
I love how quickly the food gets to your table at Vietnamese restaurants, and Pho Saigon is no exception. Our crispy spring rolls arrived mere minutes after ordering, and they were everything I'd want from a good fried appetizer - meaty, flavorful, and hot enough to do some of those open-mouthed dragon breaths after your first bite. My beef pho was also fantastic, with the broth perfectly redolent of all the spices that imparted their flavors. But I was most impressed with my husband's chicken vermicelli bowl. The meat was beautifully seasoned and, once mixed with the supplied sauce, made for a light and refreshing meal. It'll definitely be my next order when I'm here (and, if it weren't already clear enough, I'm most certainly going be back for more).
Service is polite and blazingly efficient. If you're in the area and cursed with the craving for solid Vietnamese food, don't miss this restaurant.“
