“Such a great meal. Got the baba ghanoush and hummus combo-hummus special was roasted onion-both were delicious. Had the cream of broccoli soup (soup of the day) probably the best cream of broccoli I've had. Girlfriend got the salmon over orzo-Oh Em Gee fab. I got the lamb shank-flavorful and fell right off the bone-i was in heaven. Owner was a hoot all night-really friendly and actually cared about his guest. We'll be back!“

“So we had made a reservation to a restaurant across the street of Li Beirut for my brother's birthday but after waiting for almost an hour past our reservation, I decided to call Li Beirut, skeptical that they could accommodate us - a party of 6. The lady on the phone told me to give her five minutes and she called me back and told us to come on over. As soon as we walked in, they welcomed us like we were guests of honor and treated us like family. After sharing it was my brother's birthday, they brought us a bottle of wine and served it to us. Being a Friday night, they offered us the tasting menu for $55/person and let me tell you, it is more than worth it! First, you get an array of salads and dips with pita bread portions to eat. By the way, you will never lack the bread or water - somehow they always know that you need a refill before you get a chance to realize you need a refill. After this, they brought us the Batata Harra and the Soujouk, which are the most perfectly baked/fried potatoes and a portion of meat for each of us. Then come the main entree - the specialty. Let me tell you... some of us had the shish kebab fillet (that was my specialty), other had the mixed grill and the lamb chops.... each of our specialties was absolutely delicious! Once the food is done, they brought us dessert and coffee, and this was the cherry on the top. All six of us - six grown men - left Li Beirut fully satisfied, beyond satisfied! We were also amazed and surprised at how well we were treated; like no place we have ever eaten at before. Finally, the ambiance was cozy and welcoming and you can immediately tell that the owner - who welcomed us and brought us the bottle of wine - takes much pride in his restaurant. He directs the dining room masterfully and enthusiastically. If you are in the area, you MUST try Li Beirut! Whether you come with a group or with your significant other for a date, you will leave satisfied and happy at the whole experience - from the moment you walk in, the service, and the food!“

“We came across this place while we were in Philly last month,July. We were looking for a place to dine. It was our first time with Mediterranean cuisine. Positive ambience as soon as we walk in, our server ‘s name ELIF ( hope i remember it right)guided as through with menu selection and showed the best costumer service . I appreciated the complimentary bread and the hummus while waiting for the entree.I love the taste of it as freshly baked from the oven. Food portions are just right. The price is also decent. “Surprisingly amazing hospitality as we walked up without a reservation to see if they could accommodate. We got there at 10:30am just before they got crazy busy over the weekend and were sat right away. The vegan shakshuka and the blueberry pancakes were amazing. We came with our 2 hour year old and they had a high chair they were happy to provide. Our stroller was put in the garage next door and quickly provided when it was time to go. Loved this place ❤️“

“We went on a Tuesday afternoon. I found a ♿️ spot close. The staff/owner are very helpful with menu and their service is gracious. We had appetizers then the platter for 2 that fed the 3 of use easily! ALL delish! Brought home deserts that were as enjoyable as our meal. “What an evening at Olea! Celebrating a graduation with close friends couldn't have been better than at Olea. The salmon was divine--light, buttery, with a perfectly crispy skin. “Cinco de Mayo night... wow! Always a Fantastic late night dinner here! I danced until almost 1230 and we took the last reservation at 12:30 AM, and had the most fantastic dinner on a Sunday night! We had Sal... he was just fabulous! He made good suggestions, and he even made us a deal when my friend wanted to get the Kunefe dessert while I wanted to get the baklava! He gave us the best of both worlds and he also gave us the most wonderful surprise non-caffeinated organic sun-dried Apple, tea! The best deal was for me to get the falafel platter which comes over top of hummus, together with a great little salad in the middle! It comes with six falafel instead of the appetizer version which only has four... Plenty of pita, and I still got to have my baklava! My friend ordered the Gyro, and got it over rice instead of rolled. The all-time favorite is still the red lentil soup with a bit of lemon juice on top! We agreed that we could eat tons of these!! Because we were a party of 2 and ordered many courses , the server staggered our food so we could enjoy every morsel We started with soup. I had the lentil my husband had Moroccan Bean. Both were so wonderful we we started sharing. I was looking forward to the taramasalata all day. When it came to the table along with warmed pita bread it did not disappoint. On to the falafel: which were some of the best we ever sampled. Not finished yet, next we had lamb kafta. Which were succulent and prepared to perfection. Our final course was the superb moussaka. The eggplant melted in our mouth with each bite and the ground beef and béchamel enhanced the flavor to a higher level Our only disappoint was we didn't have room left for dessert. They have chicken, and lamb/beef combo roasting in front of you, they cut your sandwich from. Fresh tomato and onion bits inside a Pita. There is a white sauce, which I didn't have. Sandwich can come with fries and coke for under $15. I got a smaller portion of fries. All fresh and tasty. service was attentive and speedy. Very pleased with my visit.“

“Our party of 4 came to Blue Fig Garden on a rainy Wednesday night. From the start the service was super - cheery, attentive, and excited to share their food. The space is pretty and clean. Some of the food was good and some was great. The more traditional dishes were my favorite - phyllo cheese rolls and baklava and lamb kebabs. Everything was at least good. I am definitely returning.“
