We loved every course we had; a unique caesar salad (with grilled broccolini and fennel!), the "world's best hotdog" (a wagyu hotdog on a delicious buttery roll which truly was the world's best hotdog), truffle gnocchi mac 'n cheese, roasted peach confit duck, and barbecued chili lime pork. The S'mores cookie pie dessert was simply amazing! Service was exceptional (Kyle was the ideal server! polite, friendly, gracious and attentive - thank you so much). The staff is welcoming, the dining room is small and cozy, and everything about this local spot is charming. We will return for sure.“

“The Love. was simply incredible! We came here with our 6 year old son. Our waiter was fabulous and very accommodating to our 6 year old which you don’t always find in Rittenhouse. The atmosphere was light and airy and the food was great! Make sure to try their Dubai Chocolate Sundae and if you’re going with children they do have special kids cups and will accommodate the menu for them.“

“This place is awesome. The food, the staff, the service were all top notch. It doesn’t feel like a stuffy 5 star restaurant but your food tastes every bit like it would at a 5 star. It’s BYOB and one of the wine bottle we brought had a cork that disintegrated and they kindly filtered it all out and put it in a decanter for us. Every single course was delicious!! We each got a different appetizer, two different entrées, and two different desserts. Every one of the appetizers was amazing, but I thought the wax beans by far were the best. The carrots were also delicious and everyone really loved the rice noodles too. Each dish was unique and super flavorful!! The steak appetizer was excellent. My scallops were good but not my favorite mix. The desserts were very good and we had to get them to go so I’m sure they would have been even better fresh. I will 1000% be back. Many dishes are veggie-forward, creative and sensational, but my (fussy) husband swears the pork is the best he's ever had. Drinks are perfect, fresh bread heavenly. Can't recommend highly enough!“

“The place itself was beautiful the host to the waitress was very friendly and didn’t mind a conversation. Everything was delicious to the appetizers to the courses. The only thing that wasn’t great was the NY stripe aged steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium rare but this was the worst chewy steak I ever had. I saved majority of it to see if I could fix it at home but no luck. Just not the best quality steak and was hoping it was due to grill being in the name. They only charged $8 bucks for that little dollop of butter on top of the steak. The best thing we had was the scallops they are to die for! They melt in your mouth and the flavor was fantastic. I would come again just wouldn’t get their steak again.“

“Went with a friend for a last-minute reservation after another restaurant didn't work out. They got us in despite being quite busy, and the service couldn't have been better. Food was amazing - fresh and sizable enough portions to be filling even for traditional seafood. The heirloom tomato salad was amazing and the small plate sampler was perfect sizing with shrimp, scallops, crab legs and oysters.. Will def go back, and glad to have found such a great new spot!“

“Stir is a very good restaurant in a work-of-art location, Frank Gehry's renovated space in the Philadelphia Museum of Art. We were there for dinner on a quiet night, so the noise level was ideal. Drinks were excellent, food was on the whole very good, and service was friendly and quick. The halibut in tiradito broth was outstanding.“

“We had a good, not great meal here. For the price (which was considerable) we were definitely expecting a bit more. The cocktails were great and the service great, the food was a bit underwhelming. We went with the tasting menu instead of a la carte and found the dishes good, but not anything particularly special. They were very accommodating with an allergy which was very nice. I'd like to try the bar menu but probably don't need another dining room experience.“

“We loved it!! The food was amazing - we had a group of 6. We started off with drinks and shared the cheddar stuffed pretzels and cauliflower/brussel app to start. Were so good. Quite a few of us got the filet, one rib eye and ribs. All prepared exactly as requested. We got 2 salads which were excellent. Sides we got were mashed potatoes, mac n cheese and they were yummy. Ended with 2 cookie desserts in little frying pan topped with ice cream. So good!“

“I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. Adam & Jenny, thank you for my birthday dinner one to remember!💖“

“My family & I had an amazing dinner here during our vacation & I loved everything about this restaurant - except the fact that it’s now 3 hours away from us! Our server was great (sorry I don’t remember her name). My 6 year old enjoyed his cheeseburger & chocolate milk while I had a delicious cocktail & steak. We went on a Tuesday night & they were surprisingly busy, but we were seated quickly & got a nice corner booth.“
