Peruvian Restaurants near Haledon, NJ

“I purchased, Lomo Saltado de Carne, for myself, & Chaufa, with Chicken for my wife. Both my wife & I loved the food. It's very tasteful & we were very happy to have chosen, El Ceviche Peruano. I recommend this Peruvian restaurant. Also, the host/owner was extremely nice & approachable.“

“Absolute gem of a place to get Hispanic food. I’ve been coming here for so many years and their food hits the spot EVERY time! I’ve only ever tried their chaufa and chicken and it’s absolutely amazing. Their hot green sauce is hot so beware! Absolutely love this place and their drinks are a bit sweet but just a bit of water fixes the problem. The place is always packed, there was a time I went and the line was out till the door so definitely a popular spot amongst the people in the area. You will not be disappointed!“

“We have a birthday party and food and service was exceptional. I have visited several Peruvian restaurants in NJ and this is truly original Peruvian cuisine. “Gracias paisano por tu gran regreso con el mejor aeropuerto de Nj !“

“We stopped by on a Saturday night and the place had a great energy without feeling too loud. I ordered the Lomo Saltado while my wife had the ceviche, and both were excellent. The beef was tender, the fries stayed surprisingly crisp, and the leche de tigre had the perfect citrus kick. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Definitely one of the better Peruvian spots we've tried in North Jersey.“

“This beautiful small cozy Peruvian restaurant has Real Authentic Peruvian dishes that you cannot replicate anywhere else. The owners were super cordial and kind. Excellent conversation starters while respecting your space while eating. The food was phenomenal and the portions are super reasonable and enough to fill even 2 people. Will be back again for sure, thank you Mrs. Rosita ?✨“

“ONE OF MY FAVORITE RESTAURANTS, I LOVE THE CHICKEN AND RIB COMBO I DON'T NEED A SIDE JUST SOME EXTRA SAUCE. I HAVE GONE SO MUCH THAT THE PPL THAT WORK THERE KNOW MY NAME AND TELEPHONE NUMBER BY HEART. THEY EVEN GIFTED ME SOME SHIRTS FOR MY LOYALTY....“

“Went there with my mom to try it out cuz I saw this place on Instagram for their Antichuchos de corazon! And boy did they not let me down. I asked for them well cooked as well for the potatoes. It came with chimichurri sauce and hucanica sauce and they was so good i wish i asked for more😭. Once I bit into them it was like heaven in my mouth the meat was cooked to my liking and the potatoes were nice and crispy! And my mom got the menu of the day which was Alitas Achevichadas as the appetizer and Pure con Bisteck with their Emoliente drink which was too sweet for her liking. But it was at a good price of 10.99 and she really enjoyed the alitas which are chicken wings and I tried a bit and they were good. Only thing it was hot and they only had fans that’s didn’t blow much but me and my mom always bring our portable fans. Other than that definitely give them a try and support them because they are new! Definitely will be coming back to try their wings ❤“

“Lo máximo , me siento como estoy Perú“

“I am Obsessed! The food was amazing! The waitress was amazing with my kid’s and they’re picky foods! Food didn’t take long to come out! Overall amazing restaurant can’t wait to come back! (What I had ordered is the picture below I couldnt get my kid’s ones because they ate it all up as soon as it got here haha)“

“The restaurant has wonderful specials that come with entree, side, and a can of soda. There sides are not the average fries or rice but more exquisite like papa la huancaina and different types of sauces from green, the usual yellow, and orange.their lunch prices with all that was mentioned is only $15 which is an amazing price. The food was delicious and the helpful man that worked there offers their customers daily specials sent to you. Great customer service. The only downfall is looking for parking. Also if you don’t speak Spanish make sure you make use of a translation app.“
