Holy Schlitz! This is the best pastrami I've ever tasted including Katz's, Carnegie Deli (70s-90s), & Harold's of Raritan (80s-2010s)! If you've not gone, GO!!! I won't steer you wrong. It's tender, juicy, fresh, and has so much flavor! It's the Kobe of Pastrami! Sorry, didn't try the corn beef or knish but maybe next time. I got the $15.95 sandwich plus one Lb of pastrami $26.95. Tax is 6.625%. I paid cash but they do take cc. Just GO!“

“It was my 1st time trying this spot out! I celebrated my birthday and anniversary! My server name was “MO” I believe it was short for Monique! She was pleasant, tentative, respectful, friendly, polite and patient! My wife and I definitely appreciated the service she provided us! My only issue was the fact that open table has an option for you to put what your occasion is and the restaurant didn't honor it. However after speaking to the manager he did accommodate us in someway for the inconvenience. ! I would definitely come back here as it was a great experience overall!!! Great ambience! And the food was truly amazing! 🔥🔥🔥10/10 for us!“

“Five stars well deserved from the service to the food. I found my new go to restaurant when traveling to Newark. My server Emilio was on point. He recommended the rib eye and man was it a great recommendation. Not only was the steak cooked just the way I like it, the flavor was great. WARNING!! Come with an appetite if you’re going to order the rib eye because that rib eye is HUGE!!! It was also more than reasonably priced. I can hardly wait to come back to Newark now that I know about Dayton Steakhouse.“

“Our first time as we are visiting from out of town. Our server Cesar was so wonderful. Very accommodating and helpful. The food was phenomenal. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and had a charbroiled taste which we loved. We also had the Bavarian pretzels app special which was awesome!!!! Our drinks were also fantastic. This was a great choice for our 10th wedding anniversary. We’re so glad we found it. Highly recommend!!!!!!“

“The experience was phenomenal! It was my best friend's birthday and we both love Ruth Chris so it was perfect. The tastemaker dinner is one of the best thing Ruth Chris does, and they do it well. They also gave my friend a small birthday cheesecake on the house with a candle in it! My friend loved that! Ruth Chris really takes the time to make it's patrons feel special. It's all part of the experience. They truly know how to create experiences. My servers were also all wonderful, they were diligent and thoughtful. The representative from Caymus Vineyards was so knowledgeable and friendly. She even gave my friend a lil present. Even though my home base is Jersey City, I will be at the Weehawken restaurant in the future!“

“Went here for the first time last nite would definitely recommend if you want a delicious steak ! I had the ribeye with mushrooms and my son had the strip with blue cheese and fried onions ( god that was amazing ) No frills type of place except for the yummy sangria Can’t wait to return and wish I could post my videos to show you steak sizzling on the plate“

“First time purchasing, I’m eating while writing this honest review lmao.The lemonade tasted like ? lemonade if you know you know. I got a cheesesteak, I’m from Philly I just hope the steak was a bit more chopped up but overall the taste every single thing in here was good. “This location is a Ecuadorian Family owned business, its a good spot to come get Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. They can throw down & the food here is on point!!No bs, its a chill space to sit in peace and enjoy a meal by yourself, with your co-workers or even with your family. “I go to this restaurant at least 2 times per month. Everything on the menu is great. Prices are cheaper than the other restaurants near by. Food is colombian but the owners are mexican but don't be fooled thinking that taste is not the same because it IS THE SAME TASTE OF COLOMBIAN FOOD. They do have customers parking in rear. Don't park across the street in the banks parking lot you will get towed as it happened to a friend of mine“

“I had the grilled chicken served with rice, beans, and fries. The chicken was perfectly seasoned—moist, tender, and full of flavor. The homemade lemonade, served by the pitcher, was fresh and delicious. At $23 for the meal, it was well worth the price. Highly recommend!“

“Friday afternoon we stopped by and I had the mist delicious chocolate martini ever . Diane was the bartender and she made it perfectly. We then had dinner , my hubby had the outlaw and was cooked exactly as he ordered it and I had the petite filet mignon. Perfect . Out waitress was outstanding . “Grew up going to the Nutley location and now they're in Fairfield. I swear on their Ribs but they have a fantastic beer list with great local options and awesome happy hour specials for drinks and apps ( highly recommend prime rib Sliders). Met family for dinner the other night and got the "Baby Spinach" Salad with steak added and the steak was cooked perfectly and every ingredient was fresh. Huge menu that could accommodate pretty much anyone. Great stop in the area.“

“I ordered for dinner the ribeye steak and onion rings. Cooked medium, the steak was flavorful; I did not need any sauce at all. The place was clean and the staff attentive (it was a Wednesday night).The bill, surprisingly, did not include gratuity or tip. You pay either by card (small charge additional) or cash. The "downsides" are: no parking lot for diners as you park on the sides of the Avenue. There is also no alcohol (wine, beer or cocktails) served. I will bring my family here and recommend to friends.“
