“Sunrise Family Restaurant is hands down one of my favorite places to eat! I’ve been going there for a while now and it never disappoints. I like to call it a hidden treasure in the neighborhood. The minute you walk in, you feel like part of the family — the staff is so warm, welcoming, and truly wonderful. The menu is HUGE, the food is always delicious, and the prices are more than fair. If you’re looking for a new go-to spot, this is it! Do yourself a favor and stop in — you’ll feel right at home and leave with a full belly and a big smile!“

“Last night, for my birthday, we had what I have to call a perfect, and perfectly delicious meal. You can’t take a picture of an experience, but if there were a way, we would have tried. My fettuccine Bolognese was a detailed joy, yielding a world of varied delights in every bite. Even the radicchio and endive salad… one of those textured, flavorful events where you close your eyes and savor every each mouthful. I could go on and on… but I’m still busy savoring. Gorgeous setting, roomy comfort, delightful servers and employees… and the bank does not break. You’d pay 100 or 150% more in the city to even come close.“

“This is a very quaint cute little restaurant nestled in Warwick NY on the boarder of NJ. It is expensive but the quality is exceptional! Well worth the money. The menu changes seasonally since it is farm to table. Need reservations or you won't get a table. It's a very small restaurant about 6 tables. The restaurant is right next to a creek and has a very cozy vibe. Can't say enough about the food, it really is wonderful, great for a nice night out. You will not be disappointed and I always leave very full! About $100-$150 per person if getting 3 courses and alcoholic drink(s), they have a wine and beer menu and loose leaf teas! Would obviously be less if not getting the 3 course option that they have or alcohol. Hope you have a great time here like I did!“

“This place was fantastic! My husband and I went there on a whim. And we are so glad that we did. We love the ambience, it looks like a country cottage. And the service was awesome. She was there to make us comfortable and happy.....which she did. And the food was the piece de resistance . We had stuffed zucchini blossoms for our appetizer and they were perfect. Then we got a salad, of which the house dressing is the way to go. And then we had an order of snow crab legs that were PHENOMENOL! And we also ordered the Pasta dish which had deep sea scallops and shrimp with a vodka sauce over angel hair pasta. Which was also incredibly good. We left there feeling very happy and satisfied! Thanks Country Cottage! We DEFINETLY will be back. =)“

“I had lunch here today with my family. The food was absolutely amazing! You would never think of Greenwood Lake as a town to get awesome Pan Asian food but The Local 112 is da bomb!“

“I had two hotdogs, one with chili cheese and the other with basic relish ketchup mustard. Both were excellent, if a little zealous on the relish. The mustard was brown mustard which is ALWAYS a welcome surprise. I truly love hotdogs and these met my expectations. My brother had the lentil soup which was absolutely amazing, and that is what I would order next time I am here. My other brother had the French toast, which he enjoyed. The service is very friendly and welcoming, the kind of place where you feel like a regular your first time in. Total was $37 for enough lunch for 3 people in their 20s plus drinks.“

“What a place with an old time feel! They are on their game, we ordered on the road 10 minutes out and when we showed up our food was waiting for us. After looking around the building, they have a great condiments bar for all your needs! All the employees were working to get people their food and everything from the kitchen that was on the shelf for customers looked awesome! We got cheese burger clubs and some dogs, which were awesome! Bathrooms and everything was very clean and these guys definitely pay attention to detail on everything! In conclusion, all the food we had was great and these guys will see a surge in patronage as word of mouth goes along way. We just stopped in for a quick lunch on coming home from the beach, and the place continued to fill up as we were there! Johnny, Christos, and company are doing a great job and we will be back very often, because their food and menu options are that good! As I am writing, my wife continues to tell me about the food choices available from the Lantern, which is making me hungry as I write this! You boys have a great thing going and keep it up as we will be continuous customers moving forward!

“Finally made it to the new location today with hubby. We sat at the bar and spoke with John. I have to say what a beautiful place John has built here. Beers were cold and the burger was delicious. “My fiancée and I came here for an impromptu date night and we were not disappointed. This area of Warwick is really cute and is home to a lot of good little shops and restaurants. I got the string bean special as an appetizer and the vegetarian pasta Santorini as my main dish. My fiancée got the calamari entree. We split the cheese board for two. Everything we had was phenomenal and the portions were a decent size. I definitely recommend this place and we will absolutely be back.“

“Taco Tuesday is real real tasty , I love the pork and the shrimp tacos. the burgers are delicious , they cook them just the way you like them , onion rings yum yum , Thursdays is prime rib night … cooked to perfection, different sides to choose from , I always get the baked potatoe and the salad it comes with … is real good also , ya gotta try it. “My wedding day was 10/05/2025 As a wedding photographer, I would say the view is perfect for the photo!!! We held our ceremony and cocktail hour in the large open mountain area surrounded by lush greenery—it was stunning. For the reception, the indoor barn provided a woody, cozy, and elegant atmosphere that felt both warm and refined. One of the biggest highlights was having the entire venue to ourselves for the whole day. Unlike other places, we didn’t have to share the space with other weddings, which made the experience feel very private and special. Everything was incredibly clean and well-maintained, especially the bathrooms (which were large and spotless!), and the private bridal suite was perfect for getting ready. The owner and staff are true professionals. The owner is an experienced chef, and you can really taste the difference with the farm-to-table menu. Everything was fresh, organic, and seasonal. Our guests haven't stopped raving about how terrific the food was! We also loved the tasting session before the wedding, which helped us feel confident in our choices. The managers guided us through every step, offering great suggestions and coordinating with our vendors (who they have great partnerships with—no pressure to buy!). They kept everything running smoothly and on schedule, answering every question we had along the way. We can’t wait to come back for one of their farm dining events in the future!“

“A Great night at the Cove Castle last night. My girlfriend and I attended the History of Greenwood Lake event at the Cove and it was very enjoyable. Bob, Andrea, Chuck and the entire crew made the experience exceptional. The setting and view of the lake from the second floor dinning room was beautiful. The food was delicious and the presentation was excellent. Drinks were large and reasonably priced. In Bob's 5 years at the Cove Castle he has transformed the place into a fine place to dine, drink and enjoy top notch entertainment. Can't wait to return to "The place to go" on Greenwood Lake.“

“We chose to have a small wedding at Tree Tavern! We planned for months as we loved the set up of the outside. We came and tried food and drinks, and every person we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. They helped us every step of the way. The options we had for the food was amazing. We got to customize it to how we wanted and then pick a very nice drink package. The pricing was outstanding. They helped with the set up and take down of the wedding and honestly helped us with every little detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day or a better venue for our special day. If we could do it over again we wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you to Mike, the wonderful owner. Joyce who helped us plan everything and Vicky who helped us pick out all our drinks. Tree Tavern is a place we will come to again and again. The atmosphere is beautiful and the people are great. They helped make our wedding day magical. “One of the best meals and experiences anywhere. We got the tableside carbonara that prepared in front of you with a torch to melt the cheese. Each of us had different creative cocktails. The French Onion soup was delicious. My wife had the salmon and I had veal scallopini, both outstanding with good portions. The only complaint we had was the bread was hard and cold. They serve it with a spiced oil which was tasty, however, they need to upgrade that bread. Overall, it was an amazing experience, we were there to celebrate my birthday and we will definitely come back.“

“We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and we were one of two customers in the restaurant. We waited at least 45 minutes for our meal. We didn’t complain because we were having a nice leisurely day apple picking. The food finally arrived my beans were watery as if they were cooked in water with no seasoning. OK I let it go because if the beans were the only thing wrong with the meal that’s not bad right. My husband got to the second half of his brisket sandwich and the brisket was petrified (Not my word I got it from another reviewer were but it fits perfectly). At this point we obviously mentioned some thing to our waitress. She agreed that the meat was not OK and said she would contact her manager who is not on location. She then came back and said the owner Laura who is the manager too who she called said she would give us 10% off. My husband was blown away by this response. He said it was a smack in the face which I completely agree. I then proceeded to add on all the rest of the issues we had that we did not say a word about at first. After the real issue that we wanted resolution from this is how they handled it? Are you kidding? Wait get ready for the best part. The bill came and they took 10% off of my husband‘s meal we got $1.60 off!!! Can you actually believe it? This restaurant is managed poorly and should go out of business. We spent $150 on a terrible lunch.“
