“I eat breakfast here about 3-4x a week and the food is good. My only issue is that on Aug 12 2025 I ordered my usually breakfast sandwiches and instead of telling me they ran out of eggs they sold me the sandwiches at full price and yea beef bacon cheese on a roll with jelly does not hit the same without eggs. I didn't hold it against them and I came in today Aug 13 and me not even asking for anything free or any favors started to inform the woman at the counter what happened and she just cut me off mid sentence and asked for my order she clearly did not care. I left it alone and this was my favorite breakfast spot but today will be the last time I give them my business. The food is great tho.“

“From the moment we walked past this place, we could SMELL how special it was… the alluring aroma was hard to stay away from. On a whim, we walked in and were warmly greeted by staff and invited to sit quite promptly despite being so busy. First impression: great!

Service was excellent, and ambiance was very warm. But the food… the food was the star of this place. If you ever pass by this place, PLEASE do yourselves the favor and try the banana oatmeal. It is a perfect treat to end your meal as a pseudo dessert. Anything from this menu will tantalize your tastebuds in a way that will keep you coming back for more.

“Really cute place with plenty of clean tables. Staff is nice and friendly and even brought my bagel over to me. A little expensive, I had an everything cheese egg and chorizo for $9. The chorizo is extra cost but very good, adds a nice zing and crisp to it. The everything bagel is also very flavorful. Best bagel I’ve had in Bayonne.“

“My friend and I had great moments at Mauricio’s Restaurant (yes, we visited it twice). The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is incredible with a lot of good people. Staff and regular guests made us feel like home! Go for the Grilled Cheese with your favourite topping and just enjoy! Highly recommended 😌“

“Went with the wife after picking up our painted clay from Color Me Mine nearby. We were impressed by the colorful chalk menu up on the wall, with a limited yet delightful selection of salads and sandwiches.

We ordered the BLAT and the Mona Lisa sandwiches, along with the Vermont salad.

The staff are very friendly and take your order almost immediately, even with a line. The drinks we ordered were prepared right on the spot and ready in no time.

The sandwiches themselves were ready in about 10-15 minutes, fresh and hot

All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and high quality, and at a reasonable price as well. Averaging at $12 per sandwich, we were left full and satisfied.

The same can be said for the salad, which was quite delectable.

“I’ve been eating here for almost 10 years. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. People use the word butter milk pancakes loosely. Theirs really taste like butter milk. Everything is good. Same chef for years. My only complaint is, They never open on time, they’ve actually been closed for a while with no notice.
