“I have tried other Popeyes in my area and it's just not the same as my first time here at the Hillside Popeyes
The service was excellent, the food was fresh, store was clean and The Atmosphere was peaceful..
The Young ladies were very welcoming
I will surely visit again..

“I went yesterday and I’ll never order the steak there again but I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone. I have heart failure and I got sick on the steak. So it’s my fault not theirs. I really enjoyed the steak, sweet bananas and salad. The portions were average, it filled me up. I’m glad I didn’t order the larger bowls, I’d be overstuffed. My friend did though. I usually don’t like well done steak but this one was very well prepared. My husband and my friends also enjoyed the food. 4 of us went. The lady behind the counter was wonderful and very helpful. The place was crazy crowded but civil. The atmosphere was great. I loved the artificial palm tree. Definitely going again but going for lower sodium options like chicken next time. 100% recommend.“

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“So I’ve always heard about Dave’s but never been till today, first off the service I received was beyond exceptional Dylan M took my order not only did he service with a smile he took time to figure out what I like and suggested what I should get and he was right it did not disappoint I also received my order from Angel H who also provided me and my friend service with a smile he told us how to mix are sauce for the best flavor. I truly appreciate top notch service with a smile it’s very rare now a days, the service alone will have me coming back again!!!!!“

“Picked up a Slider, Strip Combo and came with a free drink which is not something I’ve see where so definitely a plus.
Nice ambiance with high ceilings and lights. Very rustic and casual. The hot sauce is really hot so be careful. Should have gone with mild or medium. Mind you i do like hot sauce so when i say hot is hot its really is.. But the sauce had a kick to it.

I like that you can change the heat level for pretty much every item that you order. Don’t be fooled medium was pretty darn spicy. I love spice, but I now stick to the mild, which is really not spicy at all. But medium is just a little too much.
Overall, I love that you can order online. Every time I pick up my order is always ready and never wrong. The staff they have here seems to be pretty nice too.“

The dark meat was succulent and tender, the breading was perfect, not hard or wasn't heavy, and the flavor with or without gravy was sooo tasty! “I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. “This is a fantastic place to get delicious. Fast food. Chick-fil-A beats out the others. The value can't be beat. Get the number one meal and ask for mayo and Chick-fil-A sauce. Put a packet of mayo on your Chick-fil-A sandwich and bring the Chick-fil-A sauce home to improve whatever it is. You eat at home. The baffle fries need nothing. Get a lemonade if you can handle the sugar“

“I mean, it’s Popeyes! Sweet people working a tough job without much support. The space is big but most people seem to get takeout. I really only get the chicken tenders- sometimes the combo and sometimes just tenders but I have had the fried chicken sandwich and it’s been fab.“

“I stopped here after I finished getting my nails done next door. I used their ATM and came back. I grabbed lamb over rice with salad. The lamb was delicious the rice was ok expected more flavor. People weren’t watching their kids and they were eating off other peoples plates. I don’t mind sharing with kids but please don’t allow them to stick their hands in random strangers plates. Just to be perfectly honest, this place is located in a rather tough area, so keep that in mind when going here. Also there's no seating, it's strictly take out, the prices are very fair, and it offers a decent amount of other products similar to a small bodega. All in all, the wings keep me going back almost weekly for a number of years now and I've never had any problems with other customers. Enjoy!“

My mom and friends like the chicken meals; I enjoy tostones, salad, rice, yucca, beans (frijoles), green sauce, puffed cheese pastries, and more. Since the 2020’s began, however, there is only the Take-out option; no dine-in.
