Now its practically same staff bathroom remodeled and costs have increased but so as everuthing else same friendly and fulfilling breakfast no bells and whistles but simple good food“

“Tops is always my go to restaurant when I want to impress friends who come in town! Everyone can find something they enjoy on the menu. The service is always excellent, they do not allow a single dirty dish to remain on the table for long. Always make a reservation because Tops is busy for a reason! Their drinks are also top tier, everything from their matchas to cocktails are 20/10. Now, it is VERY loud and can be hard to find parking when they're extremely busy, but it's Jersey and the noise is part of what makes Tops Tops!“

“I had the best pancake here. Classic diner pancake, super fluffy, with powdered sugar, piped vegan butter on top, and real maple syrup. I also got vegan sausage on the side! They have a dedicated vegan section of the menu. The staff is super kind. I went at 10am on a Sunday and it was empty, but was full by 11am“

The food here is excellent, and it's one of the most practical spots for a quick and satisfying lunch. The service is top-notch—I was seated at the bar and really enjoyed watching the kitchen in action. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality you get.
Just a heads-up: there’s usually a line on weekends, but it’s well worth the wait.

“Had breakfast there twice. Once solo and the next time with my wife. Consecutive Tuesdays. Just there this morning, after the golf range at Chelsea Piers. It's a combination of Greek and Mexican specialties. I have sampled the eggs overeasy with corned beef and this time had three poached eggs with fresh tomato and feta, home fries and coffee. All wonderful. My wife had fried eggs with ham on top of grilled taco. She loved it. This is a top notch diner with excellent service.“

It’s definitely a place to eat a good inexpensive meal, it’s not a place to go for ambiance. I definitely would recommend stopping by, but bring your appetite.“

We sat at the bar and our server, Rebecca, was super nice, attentive, bilingual (which was helpful for our group), and gave great food recommendations.

I ordered the braised short rib 5/5 would order again in a heartbeat, especially for the price. Comes with brasato sauce a lemon vinaigrette, perfect for cutting the richness. Some of our party ordered veggie burgers, others ordered chicken noodle soup. I also ordered a mocha.

“The person on the phone was incredibly kind and patient, even though I had to keep asking him to repeat himself because of the noise on my end. The taco was pretty good, though I was a little disappointed to discover the sauce only after I finished one of them. On the bright side, the buffalo wings were amazing, especially when paired with the green sauce that came with the tacos which surprises me.“

Even eating it today, it brings back memories of when my mom would take me and my siblings to eat there for dinner. At the time, they would close much later than they do now. The food is always delicious, generously well priced, and the customer service is always really nice. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that came with fries, along with an extra side of onion rings. That came up to $20 on the dot, and with the portions they serve, I was more than happy with that price. I have, and I will continue to go to this amazing restaurant.
