Ren was the first time in my life I was able to eat tasty food, and enjoy it!

“Had the falafel sandwich like many times as a vegan, but this was soooo good. Crispy outside, soft moist inside. Your choice of “salads”/pickled veggies to add into it. I had baba ghanoush, Julienne pickled carrots , and a cubed roasted eggplant, onion, and tomato. So flavorful without being overpowering w any one ingredient. Eddy makes everything homemade by hand. Everything! The falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, the pickles, the pita. Pita so good. Large thick and soft. My friends had a beef kabob sandwich and chicken plate. They said it was delicious. “Glatt A La Carte in Brooklyn, NY: Food? Immaculate! Ambiance? Marvelous! Service? Impeccable! Thank you so much for feeding AND taking care of my family and I. My mom and 2 children decided to dine here this past Tuesday after searching up about 20 kosher restaurants nearby. We live over 2 hours away but knew we needed to eat good before the long drive back home. Listen… don’t walk, but RUN to this place! I ordered the Tomahawk steak and it came out perfectly. The accompanying chicken dishes (chicken wing poppers, buffalo chicken poppers and chicken and waffles) were superb! You’d think I was a celebrity with how they made sure I left happy. Thank you to the owner for stopping by our table ensuring we enjoyed the food. Thank you to our waiters! We were definitely pleased and will return when we’re in the area.“

“Had dinner at Rothschild TLV this evening and it was incredible. Tal, the owner/chef/amazing person, greeted us as we walked in. Dalmina took over taking care of our table and was beyond incredible. She even catered to our almost two year old son, which was really over the top. The food was breathtaking both by presentation and taste. This is by far the most beautiful and elegant restaurant in Manhattan, let alone the five boroughs. Highly recommend this restaurant to one and all!“

“La Sova in Brooklyn is a great spot with excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and very friendly service. Everything felt fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. The staff was attentive and made the experience smooth from start to finish. The place has a comfortable neighborhood feel, and you can tell they care about quality and customer satisfaction.

“I am always on the hunt for a good falafel shop and this place hits hard! Great food, fresh, the people who run it are nice and hook it up with samples from time to time. Never had a bad falafel here. It's run by observant Jews, so the only downside for non-Jews like myself is they're closed Friday evening and all day Saturday! But as long as they're here, I'll be treating myself to one of the best falafel sandwiches in the neighborhood.“

“My wife Lois Padawer and I have eaten here twice during the past month and each time have enjoyed the experience immensely. The first time we even talked with the lovely owner, Tali. Both times we were served by Edward, an expert and gracious waiter. During these dismal times in which live, loud music is an unfortunate commonplace at restaurants (and at weddings and bar mitzvahs and in cars on the road, etc.), but when we asked Edward to lower the volume he did so instantly. Edward is also an excellent bartender. The bathroom is well-maintained. Go and enjoy delicious food in a pleasant setting!“

David is a pleasure to work with and really aims to please his customers. One of our family members has a sesame allergy and he went above and beyond to ensure that the food was sesame free!“

We didn't order much, just a few appetizers for the most part (as seen in the pics). I would definitely come here again, it's one of those places that just feels like home. So beyond cozy. The reason for the 4 star is only because some of the portions are insanely TINY. For example, the pasta that we ordered... that in itself is maybe 3-4 bites at most. So we were disappointed in that, the other things we ordered were sized decently. But I do wish that they would give just a bit more.

“I had to come write this after witnessing this simply criminal 4.3 rating. Caravan of Dreams is the best. I've been vegan for over a decade and been coming here for just as long without ever ordering the same thing twice (except.. the jalapeno margarita). Service is always kind, and the live music is always good. I've spent several birthdays at Caravan of Dreams. I just spent my last birthday month having three different dinners here. The menu is extensive and excellent, with creative and actually healthy options that still leave you full. The price is standard for the area, but the quality of meal is really unbelievable. The ingredients are fresh and organic, with revolving specials that are actually worth trying. Even their options that include processed substitutes are shockingly holistic. Coffee and desserts are also fantastic. There's really no other place like Caravan of Dreams left here. I suggest it every time a friend wants to make dinner plans, and any time someone asks me about trying vegan food. It's the oldest vegan restaurant left standing in NYC, and even when it had similar "rivals," there was no comparison. I would say the closest menu I remember would have been from Angelica's Kitchen on 12th (RIP), but Caravan's menu is MUCH bigger, and the food is MUCH better. The restaurant itself also has way better vibe - less crowded, cozier, less yuppies, more characters. Go to Caravan of Dreams. It's a one-of-a-kind vegan restaurant that's good for you, good for the planet, and true to NYC, and LES in particular.“
