“Everything is good here, and always fresh. They have a variety of donuts- both yeast and cake. Wonderful breakfast items, and I love their rolls and/or bagels with bacon, egg, and cheese( delicious). Coffee is bold and flavorful, and customer service is friendly and fast. Family owned business and a staple in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Stop by and try their goodies out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.“
“I've wanted to try gelato for the longest time but had no idea where to begin, especially given the abundance of options in NYC. Thankfully, I came across a fellow Yelp friend's glowing review of Figo and knew this was just the place. We came on a dreary day, and there were no customers when we arrived, but honestly, I was too excited to care. The interior was cute and green and gave major spring forest vibes. I did my research so I knew exactly what I wanted. My sister, on the other hand, contemplated between pistachio and caffè and ended up going with the latter. Their prices have risen slightly. It's now $7.50 (instead of $6) for a regular cup of gelato, with up to 2 flavors. The portions are huge though, so two people can easily share a cup. * Ferrero Rocher I was dead set on ordering this flavor, and it was everything I imagined it to be. Sweet, smooth, rich, and creamy, with blended Ferrero Rocher bits. I found an almost whole Ferrero Rocher piece at the bottom of my cup and loved the added crunch. * Caffè Absolutely divine and exactly how I like my coffee. This flavor perfectly balanced the sweet and creamy elements of gelato with the rich and subtle, bitter notes of dark roast coffee. Highly recommend!“
“I just love this place so much. The staff are always so warm and happy. The coffee is great. The croissants are so good. The chocolate croissants actually have gooey chocolate, not an unmelted chocolate log inside. The chocolate chip cookie is the best in the city. Yes. I said it. The other pastries are also great. I will say, the babkas are good but much too sweat for me. I only wish they have a few more seats inside.“
“I love the selection of goods here for offer. Particularly the croissants and chouquettes. But I find some of the staff off putting when I don’t tip at the end of a transaction. Like when stopping in for a baguette. I mean I ask for one, they literally turn around to get it and hand it to me and expect a tip for this service? How about the owners pay their staff a better wage and eliminate the tip?“
“Great spot for Japanese-infused western sweets. Super cute store, dedicated and elegant.I love my ❤️✨maple fig scone since it was not too sweet but flavorful. Figs tasted like grapes for some reasons but I enjoyed the popping texture of the fig seeds.Cappuccino was creamy. The bean they used today was on the bitter side. Would like to try drip coffee or cold brew next time.Vegetarian options: Vegan cake, vegan cookie“
“BEST BUTTERCREAM PASTRY IN NYC. HANDS DOWN.The Lychee Raspberry Cake/Confection is like a drug addiction! OMG. PUre ingredients smell so good. The shop is small and unbecoming, the drip coffee is awesome, and OMG the pastries.....I've tried other brands...(mag*ia, Lad*m, citarella etc) and the pure quality of ingredients plus creative tastes, here is hands down better. These are truly unique pastries.“
“I used them for my son’s first party and the cakes they provided were beautiful and tasted delicious. I got so many compliments! The funfetti flavor was everyone’s favorite! They were more than willing to work with my price range and delivered a product that exceeded our expectations.“
“They open at 7. The google listing is wrong.Their chocolate croissant was heavenly. It's so airy yet so crispy. 10/10. 3.90 is a good price for what it is.They do bake almond croissants once in a while. It's not on the menu, though. The frangipane did have a strong almond after taste, which indicates the use of some kind of almond essence. 8/10.“
“The cafe was clean and cute. It offered plenty of seatings. The barista was attentive and the service was prompt, but the drinks were just okay. The Americano was smooth, but it tasted a bit stale as if the beans had been dried out and the chai latte was rather watery.“
“Paris Baguette continues to impress with its consistent quality and freshness across all its locations. Whether you visit one of their many branches, the experience remains the same—a delightful array of desserts and teas that never disappoint. Each treat is packed with care, ensuring a delicious and satisfying experience every time.“
“Came here for a quick lunch. It was super busy but line moved fast! Everything here looked so delicious and fresh! I ordered a ham and cheese baguette and asked them to heat it up for me! Washed it down with an iced coffee! It was delicious! Service was great also! Paris baguette never disappoints!“
“I came across this bakery last minute and omg !! I absolutely fell in love with the decor when I went to pick up my cake. They were super sweet and professional. I absolutely loved how my cake turned out. I highly recommend. Definitely ordering from them again.“
“What a treat! I am so grateful to Tiara for the wonderful low carb yumminess she produces! Fresh ingredients, and so much flavor! I need to try the ice cream next. Don't let the size of the shop fool you. It may be tiny, but there is a lovely variety of stuff that will blow your mind. And before you look at the prices, consider that low carb ingredients are extremely expensive, as is overhead in this neighborhood. You will be very happy with the food; both sweet and savory options. Supporting this business means that it can stick around, and there aren't many of its kind!“
“The desserts are a work of art here. While they are on the pricier side for sweets, both the bamboo shaped dessert and ube cheesecake were very good to share. The cakes were not too sweet and I love how they incorporate Asian flavors. My favorite of the two is the bamboo. It has jasmine mousse, lychee filling, and yuzu layers and has different textures as you eat throughout it. The white chocolate coating pairs well with the light flavors inside.“
“Just went there!!! The greeting was excellente with French accent and all... I had a ham and cheese croissant, an apple turnover and a Mocha Drip.. The pastries were nice and flaky, the mocha drip was AMAZING.My only critique was that the croissant was not hot which would've made it sooo much better but regardless it was tasty.I only captured the apple turnover as I devoured the croissant before my post.“
“Delicious gelato - truly good ingredients and quality of gelato. Real pistachio should be brownish green and not light green, which was the case here. Vegan chocolate was surprisingly good and rich too! Cute italian-flair atmosphere. Price is good for NYC. Highly recommend!“
“I first had Ladurée in Paris, so when I got home and found that there were a couple shops in NYC, I knew where to go for my macaron fix. This location is small, but charming. If I'm in the area for a museum or shopping, I will stop by, especially to see what seasonal flavors are on the menu. They have a very tiny seating area off to the side (as well as some outdoor seating during nice weather) for afternoon tea. It's cute and cozy, but the staff is often very busy and since they accommodate both the counter as well as the seating area, service can sometimes be slow if there are a lot of people waiting. But, I'm so glad we have a local Ladurée...which reminds me, I'm craving macarons!“
“This Paris baguette (w58th and 10th) - THE BEST!! The second you walk in staff greets and acknowledges you!! You’re asked if you need anything heated up, pastries and/ or drink. Everything I have ordered is on point and as I ordered. I like the ham and cheese really hot; they always get it right.Pastries, breads, sodas, coffee bar and cakes are fully stocked, well organized and set on a clean glass.Food and drinks are prepared fresh and as ordered. Sit down areas and restrooms are clean and fully stocked as well.Lady making cakes are so meticulous and precise in decorating the cakes and pastries. It’s always so nice to see them being done. This location is one of my favorite. Love Paris baguette!!Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible“
“Visited this bakery in 2022 so sorry for delay in the review. Incredibly good gluten free baked goods. Don't let the outside confuse you - my wife and I thought it was perhaps closed down at first! But have confidence and you will earn your baked reward - and what a reward! We chose the cinnamon buns which were perfection. I should note that this bakery is more of a "buy a loaf of bread or a tray of cakes and take them home" rather than a "grab a singular bun and eat it there and then" place (although the baker kindly prepared a couple of buns from our tray of buns for us to enjoy right away). Overall score: The bakery - 5/5; The baker - 6/5!“
“Totally came here by accident as I was looking for something to feed to my 15month old son. As he devours croissants I thought this might be a good place. I was stunned by the variety of items and look of this cute bakery. The ladies working here are Angels and so unbelievably friendly I don't have words. I will definitely come back!“
“Impeccable quality of pastry products at this bakery. 100% worth the price. The attention to detail on all of its products is equivalent to the other French bakeries you can find around the city like sweet rehab. As this is a Japanese bakery, the sweetness levels of all their pastries are a bit less than what you'd expect. I enjoy this fact. So do other people, as after I came in, another family bought out many of the pastries on display.I do however wish there were tables present in front of the only two seats outside the door of the establishment. Outside of this, everything else was enjoyable about my experience with the staff and quality of the products. My favorite was the cinnamon sugar donut, $5“
“Small spot with seating for 12 or 14 people inside. Deserts are amazing!Had the cheesesteak sandwich, which is a filet, not chopped. You need to remove the fat strip, but it was cooked perfectly and tender to eat. Place is immaculate as far as cleanliness, and very modern. Been there twice, will definitely be back.If you go, you MUST try the chocolate covered grapes!!!“
“Ecstasy for the palette! The combos of sweet and savory are impeccably balanced! Everything melts in your mouth, with the emotion of wanting more… Also challenging is figurout which dessert creation to try fist and more importantly, which one will be the last, to keep the unique flavors as long as possible!“
“This place is incredible. The quality is equal to that of the best boulangeries in Paris. The everything croissant is what I dream about every day. The chocolate fondant “muffin” is perfection. The lentil soup is also exceptionally good: savory and satisfying. The staff is friendly. Frenchy is the only cafe in the surrounding area and I’m so glad they’re in the neighborhood. Super high quality pastries and service.“
“Love this place ! Wish I knew about this place sooner honestly. The communication is 10/10 and the cakes were sooooo good, so soft and moist ! I'm a vegan and been a vegan my whole life and my family is really used to buying cakes from the same places and the cakes are never fancy looking, no designs nothing really with character, also sometimes very dry or hard or just straight up bland ! But this place omg !! Great all around love how they have different designs for vegan cakes and not just 1 ! I feel so inclusive for once by having a nice looking cake for my birthday & the pricing wasn't bad at all !!! I got a vintage pink heart cake for my birthday on January 19th and my lil sisters birthday was on the 23rd so we also got her a cake but it was a Valentine's Day cake turned into a birthday cake ! And my family loved both cakes !! Thank you for making our birthdays extra special this year !Vegetarian options: The website has all the vegan options !“
“I was a little worried I wouldn't be full from the afternoon tea, but I was (happily) proven wrong! I came here for their Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea set and had a lovely time sampling so many different snacks! The space itself is a bit small, but they have a lot going on besides the afternoon tea. They also do cake making classes in the back, which you can sort of see through their window, and they sell their pastries up at the front. Now comes the food! You choose a tea and a few of the cakes or mouses and they bring everything in a 3 tiered tray. There were items like croissants, cherry blossom cookies, macarons, quiches, cakes and mini sandwiches. My favorites were the cherry blossom cookie, salmon and dill sandwich and chicken pate! I think there was a lot of sweets and I'm personally more of a savory person but this was delicious! I actually got really full and couldn't finish everything but luckily, we were allowed to take it back and it was packaged very carefully in a nice box. I loved how the sweets weren't overwhelmingly sweet and they were so beautifully crafted. The only downside for me was that the quiches tasted a bit dry and I wish they came out warm and more runny. Other than that, this experience was very fun and delicious. I'm looking forward to returning for their regular afternoon tea as well!“
“Our recent stop at a cozy café left us thoroughly impressed! The enticing aroma of freshly baked croissants and the comforting scent of brewed coffee welcomed us inside. Indulging in the flaky, buttery croissants paired with a steaming cup of rich, aromatic coffee was a delightful experience. Adding Earl Grey tea to our order enhanced the morning treat with its delicate flavor and soothing warmth. With friendly service and a cozy atmosphere, it's become our new favorite spot for a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend giving it a try!“
“always delicious and fresh baked goods. There are not only sweet croissants, but also croissants with cheese and other fillings.not bad coffee and hot chocolate. The establishment is not always clean; sometimes there are no napkins.but despite this, I return to this place for delicious puff pastries.“
“The ice cream from Milk Bar is absolutely divine! ? I first discovered it a few years ago during a trip to New York, and it instantly became a must-try after seeing it on television. Since then, I've been unable to get it out of my mind. Recently, I discovered that a Target store just an hour away from my home carries Milk Bar ice cream, particularly the Cereal Milk flavor, which is incredibly delicious. It's so good that I don't mind driving an hour and a half just to buy it. And today, I'm back in New York, and my first stop is, of course, Milk Bar.“
“All I can say is wow and yum ???? after living 60 years in the community just happen to come in to this quaint bakery two very precious young ladies assisted me with my order April & Talia were incredibly nice. But when I had their creamy pastry and coffee I knew that this was my go to for fresh pastry I had to give the owner my compliments . I was told that the pastries are made fresh everyday . No wonder . The flow of customers is just wonderful so happy to know that East Harlem has such a great bakery now my go to spot for sweets and great coffee .“
“I can not recommend one thing in particular!! Everything is amazingly delicious, even tastier and fresher that I found in Romania’ cofetarii ! Visited past weekend from DC and had a hard time deciding over what to buy. Got almost one of most of them and now I wish I bought more. For me, the best bakery in US!“
“The attention to detail on my daughter's birthday cake exceeded our expectations. Not only was it gorgeous, it tasted delicious. I did not request the ombré and can't imagine the work that went into making each layer. The chocolate cake was so good and the doll was neatly tucked inside. Everyone at the party was impressed.“
“The owner is an amazing person. The cakes are delicious and very well decorated. She always works with her clients especially with the details of the cakes. She is also very professional, friendly and the love for the work she does shows on her creativity and cakes. Thank you again for an excellent service ?“
“The spot looks cool for the location, def one of those trendier places in the neighborhood. But you're in the heart of east Harlem and the competition is real with these hidden gem bodegas. An authentic local is going elsewhere. Had a bacon egg and cheese and it was definitely tasty, but could use more egg for sure. If you want a different spot to try, why not? Everyone deserves a shot.“
“Very easy-going vibe, people talking, enjoying breakfast, and music in the background. The host is very pleasant, and the croissants were delicious. They had a great assortment, and cakes are made to order. Definitely #eatatthatjawn approved!“
“A fortunate array of sweet treats centered on sweet cream cheese. A number of delicious and unique pastry products it’s hard to find anywhere else, and some classic innovations on the tried and true to boot. Perfectly balanced textures, tartness, and tang. Flavors beyond sugar do the talking. Well worth the trip when you’re eating in Koreatown.“
“Stopped by to get this pudding with strawberry popping boba and it was delicious. The pudding was not so sweet but when eaten with the boba made it delicious and meld perfectly. I also got a mango pudding, which was also amazing. It had crisp and fresh mango pieces in a mango puree than when well with the not so sweet pudding. The staff was friendly and you can sit there and eat. The place was clean and everything looked fresh. I will have to return and get the pudding again.“
“Decent gelato shop with some cupcake selections. A good choice for sweets around the area.My favorite gelato flavor was vanilla. You can see vanilla beans in it. Not super intense but creamy enough.Coconut sorbet was a little bit too “gummy” for me. The texture was sticky. For the cupcake, compared to traditional flavors that I was not that interested in, I got the monthly-limited one, ✨German chocolate, which was better than my expectation! Chocolate cake at the bottom was moist, the cream was rich with coconut and pecan toppings.“
“I was looking for a good local coffee shop within walking distance of where I'm staying and Pep seem to fit the bill. It is a tiny little hole in the wall of a place But super cute with a small but beautiful selection of pastries. I ordered a cherry almond croissant and a chai latte. I was super happy with both. The croissant was beautiful and flaky with the perfect amount of filling. My chai was good if a tad sweet. I would definitely come back to try some more of their pastry selections.“
“Staff was friendly and courteous, I wasn’t prepared for the self serve pastry displays and somebody was immediately ready to help point out the trays and tissue. The display was full of delicious looking treats. I chose to get a croissant and two mochi donuts, one strawberry and one biscoff. They were indeed delicious. Highly recommend the strawberry mochi donut, the strawberry flavor is strong but natural“
“I introduced my girlfriend to this place and we’ve been snacking on their cakes and donuts and other pastries for the past year every now and then. Each treat absolutely delicious. We decided to request a cake for her niece’s birthday and it was just under $200 for a 3 layered cake for 20 people, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results!! The bday girl loved it and everyone thought the cake was delicious! It wasn’t too sweet and the icing was buttercream and not fondant which was delightful“
“This is the original Carlo's Bakery shop in Hoboken. I was bummed that none of Buddy's family members were in the store or him. I got a slice of rainbow cake and a lobster tail. The cake was delicious but the frosting is super sweet. The cake decorations are amazing on the cakes sold in the shop This store looks just like the one in Times Square except the Hoboken shop has a gorgeous original exterior. A worker in the store told me this location was remodeled after shop damage was caused by Hurricane Sandy. I loves Buddy's family picture in this store.“
