“This place has so far been a pleasant experience, the ambience, food and service have been outstanding and definitely the place I would like to go back to. I tried their chickens, pizzas and wine as well as in house made mozarella and everything was pleasing to the palate.“

“Came across Buona Sera during a day trip to Red Bank and so glad we had lunch here! The setup & decor of the restaurant had its own unique charm that preserved history while balancing modern hospitality. Staff were attentive and made good recommendations—one of which was the lobster ravioli—the best I’ve had! These were jumbo and filled with real lobster, in an addictive creamy sauce topped with shrimp and scallops—highly recommend!! Their appetizer special of the Buffalo mozzarella was also a hit too. The chicken Rossini was very flavorful and had these huge pieces of chicken stacked on top. Be warned that the portions are huge!“

“We chose to have our rehearsal dinner here and it was the best decision! The wine room was perfect and they had it decorated for Valentine's day which was beautiful. All of our guests are still saying how delicious the food was! Corey was so easy to work with and made sure our night was perfect.“

“Upon arriving to the place there is plenty of parking, which was great! The outside doesn’t do the inside justice, very nicely organized and clean establishment with beautiful inside decor. We were seated immediately and our server was very friendly and took care of us a party of 4.I ordered the yakitori as a starter , it was delicious and tasty, perfectly grilled. It came with a peanut butter sauce which was really good , just not what I personally like so I swapped it for spicy mayo which was also delicious and had a nice kick.I started off with a drink and got an old fashion, it was tasty and strong! Just how I like it!I also had a seaweed salad which was perfectly seasoned.I then ordered two specialty roles the hot night and the ocean king (I swapped the mango for cream cheese). Both rolls were huge and I can say this is the best sushi I have ever had! You can taste the flavors were fresh and so were the ingredients! For dessert we had the vanilla, strawberry and green tea mochis which are all a must try! Will be a returning costumer.Kid-friendliness: Kids are allowed“
“My fiancé wanted to do wine tasting for a while, so I found this place. Small place but the service was excellent. Tracy was the server when we went, there was another couple in there as well who were friendly as well. Tracy made our first experience very fun, she gave great information, she joked with us every step of the way! We left with 4 bottles of wine spending about 84$. We plan to revisit very soon.“

“Went there for repast after a viewing at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home up Adelphia Road. About 30 people attended. Buffet ìncluded mixed salad with dressing on the side, pasta salad, hot crisp rolls and butter, seasoned mixed hot vegetables, roasted potatoes, penne with vodka sauce, chicken francaise, sliced roast pork, dessert, and coffee. Other banquet selections are offered on their website.Used plates were cleared promptly and pitchers of water at the tables were refilled as needed. The meal was held in a private room. There is also the restaurant which has musical entertainment and a banquet hall. Plenty of parking.“

“Everything was delicious! If you order the paella, make sure you order it with your tapas because it take a while to make. The only issue I had was the noise level. It was very hard to hear my partner. There's nothing to soak up the noise in the restaurant.“

“I just hosted a very successful lunch for 16 clients at 26 West On The Navesink. It was held on the top floorwith a breathtaking view overlooking the water. Our server, Jessica was exceptional, attentive to every need and made sure everything was done right. Chef Dominick crushed it! The presentation was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious. My clients had nothing but great things to say! If you are planning your next corporate event, 26 West is the perfect venue for it. I've already made plans for another one next month.“
