“Savouring Raj Kachori here literally made me feel like a "Raj" - a royal kingly feeling. Bhelpuri was a plate of well mixed ingredients. Both the delicacies were appropriately tangy and spicy - neither too much nor too less. Packed mathiya and Chavanu as takeaways and am sure these two items wouldnt be any different in quality and taste as the ones I had for dine in. Residents in this part of New Jersey should thank their stars for having such a great eating joint in their neighborhood. “I’m glad I stopped by on a whim. I was greeted by a small, cozy cafe and got a yummy London fog latte, which had a good strong lavender flavor. Pets are welcomed, which I found out when a cute poodle walked in and jumped on the couch. There is a parking lot, which is a huge bonus in NB. My only issue is that sometimes this place is too busy xD. It’s super popular and frequented by Rutgers students, so finding a table and navigating around the tables may be hard :(.I didn’t see any Iranian/Persian sweets or specials but I guess I wasn’t looking closely enough.“

A huge cookie. $5… average price for this day and age (but it’s also a decent size cookie).A secret tip: towards the end of the night, they’ll obviously start running low on stock. So either try going earlier, or order ahead. I say a secret tip because my husband and I ordered ahead. (The first time we went, they did not have any fancier flavors left; so we just ended up leaving.) As the local bakeries give way to supermarkets for baked goods, Pinoh’s is my go to bakery even though it’s not in my neighborhood.Their Natas or Custard Cups are out of this world.Their breakfast pastries are the best but if you don’t get there in the morning many of their pastries are sold out.Want a great breakfast or lunch the Cafe side has a great variety of choices.Parking can be tricky, but worth the trip.Parking: I usually park across the street as there’s usually no problem. They make a delicious pineapple and black forest cake.However, I’m slightly disappointed by the in person customer experience. The whole process feels a bit rushed. They have a pretty nice collection of baked items, but no names/ingredients or prices. Am I expected to know what each of them is called, when ordering with the person behind the counter? It also feels like on busy days, I don’t want to spend time asking a bunch of questions and have the people behind me wait.Letting people browse and having names and prices would improve the in person experience considerably in my opinion.But definitely recommend for delicious reasonably priced baked goods and cakes.“

We had parked at the metered parking lot across the street, so we needed to put another quarter in to stay and have dessert here. It's a Portugese / Brazilian restaurant & bakery. We were shocked to see that it opens at 4:40 in the morning! There were several breakfast dishes on the menu. They also had sandwiches, empanadas, and most importantly desserts ! I highly recommend this for chocolate lovers. My husband and his brother split a piece of cake. To me, it slightly tasted like sweet cornbread with chocolate icing. To go for the next morning, I took home one of their dulce de leche donuts. Omg this is so good. The donut is not as sweet as an American donut, it's more sweet bread-like. It was absolutely filled with dulce de leche caramel and topped with powdered sugar. The guy that waited on us was very friendly and I think he was amused at my excitement finding all these goodies there. The inside of the restaurant is very casual with several small tables. This place was fairly popular as folks kept walking in and ordering. This is definitely worth the stop here for their baked goods.“

The treats are always delicious but I want to shout out the customer service and staff. I have noticed in this day and age customer service is few and far between.But not here at PG! Good quality products in a clean and well-organized store. What sets them apart is how warm and helpful the owners who take turn running the store. Everyone, not just middle easterners, can enjoy the high-quality cold cuts, cheeses, breads, jams, olives, baked goods, spices and frozen meals.
