“Been here for 7 years now and they always serve me and my friends well. Sometimes they take a bit to get the food but other times it's fairly quick. End of the day the food is great though and that's all that matters (unless you're in a hurry?). I've eaten here for breakfast and lunch and the people have been nothing but welcoming.“

“Didn't think they still made places like this. Delicious breakfast food, reasonable prices. Open at 6am or maybe earlier. Unbelievably nice service. Many people who came in were regulars and the manager knew their names and orders, but she was extra sweet to me, too, a stranger. Real maple syrup. I wish I had this in my neighborhood.“

“My friend and I had great moments at Mauricio’s Restaurant (yes, we visited it twice). The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is incredible with a lot of good people. Staff and regular guests made us feel like home! Go for the Grilled Cheese with your favourite topping and just enjoy! Highly recommended 😌“

“Everything tasted amazing!!!!! the crab rangoons are so delicious and perfectly flavored, it is a treat every time i order them for an amazing price too!!! the sesame chicken had a great flavor and is not too sweet, the general tso chicken is perfectly spicy and tender. there are no little crumbly pieces as i would usually get at most take out!! the coke cans (diet) were nice and cold, and the veggie low mein noodles were perfectly dry and flavorful and HOMEMADE? (although the lettuce is weird sorry). the dumplings in chili oil taste super authentic and have a greattttt flavor. i loved everything here and i would order 10000 percent again. never change !! (besides the lettuce)
Vegetarian options: all the tofu options are sooo delicious!! super crispy and delicate.“

“Parking lot was what we needed, but the food was excellent. Great service and the breakfast was excellent: French toast, pancakes, sandwich with bacon, Taylor ham, and eggs. Easy access to/from the highway.
Kid-friendliness: Staff was amazingly helpful with our 1 year old.“

“Here’s the deal. Life isn’t perfect in the Dirty Jersey (i.e. Jersey City). At the VIP Diner it's gritty and down to earth. Please don’t expect a Michelin 5 star. That would kill the charm. Rather, expect homespun, caring, and conscientious service because you’ve sidestepped the bullsh*t. Satisfying fare, decent portions, and down to earth is the VIP, your place to sit down, get coffee, and decompress.“

“10/10. After a long night out, VIP diner provided my friends and I with a rejunivating expirience that revived us from the depths of despair. This place is considered a safe haven and truly made me feel whole.
The food and the service was supreme. From waffles to omlettes, each dish was devoured within minutes.
If you are considering coming to VIP diner, stop thinking and get in the car!
