“I’ve only ordered from here and the food has been good. I love their mac and cheese and their lentil sweet potato soup. Probably had a burger once and it was good — beyond burger, so you can’t really mess the up. The only thing I don’t like about this place is how OVERPRICED they are, especially with a lot of their portion sizes. I have to really be craving their mac and cheese to spend money here, but it definitely isn’t one of those go-to vegan spots in my opinion, unless you’re okay with constantly spending the money. But yeah very unreasonable prices for a lot of basic stuff.“

The staff is so lovely, the food is fresh and delicious and reasonably priced for the quality, the drinks are fun. I've brought babies, worked here, stopped by with my dog for takeout, and sat outside, and all experiences have been great. Highly recommend Hybrid!“

Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

I would like to see more savory options that don’t involve fake meat or bread, but if you’re looking for a smoothie and/or a sweet bowl, can’t go wrong here. “The food we ordered from Casa Cubana for the surprise 50th Birthday party we hosted was a HIT! Everyone told us the food was delicious. They even provided serving utensils. We had black rice with beans (Moro), pork shoulder (Pernil), chicken and steak skewers, garlic shrimp, chicken and beef empanadas and sweet plantains. And yes, all of it was mouthwatering good. I was sold when I went for a quote and was given a chicken empanada to sample. So juicy! I highly recommend them for your next event, lunch or dinner. “The food was INSANELY good! We had the Narkel Doodhe murgi and the Chingri Dopiaza. The chicken was flavourful but not too spicy - and our favorite.

They were also kind enough to throw in a complimentary potato bhortha which paired perfectly with the rice and curries! It’ll absolutely be a staple in my future orders.

We also got the mango lassi, which was not your typical lassi (it’s thinner and less sweet), so it might be a hit or a miss for some. I loved it!

“Great homemade taste! Rotating flavors plus the classics. Tried a few: mango graham was surprising, matcha was so rich with a toasted flavor. Chose the chocolate covered cookies and cream and it was delicious in a wafer cone. I’m usually a sugar cone person but these gourmet wafer cones are crispy and didn’t end up soggy. The scooper generously jammed gelato down into the cone, not just a scoop on top. Btw every cup serving gets a micro sized sugar cone garnish on top!“

“JC Buddy’s of Jersey City Brunch Spot Worth Waking Up For!

We came for brunch and wow, Buddy’s absolutely delivered.

Biscuits & Gravy: The biscuits were fluffy clouds of joy… buttery, golden, and perfectly baked. The sausage gravy was rich, flavorful, and smothered lovingly over top. It didn’t drown the biscuits (which I appreciate!) but I wouldn’t have minded just a splash more gravy to soak up with those last bites. The side of potatoes? Unreal. Crispy, tender, almost like Greek lemon potatoes met a breakfast hash… and they fell in love.

Chicken & Waffles: O.M.G. The chicken was seasoned and spiced to perfection, crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and not a hint of greasiness. The waffles were light, fluffy, and dusted with powdered sugar like a brunch snowstorm. Loved the option of classic maple and spiced maple syrup for a little kick. The only (tiny) drawback? I’m not a huge fan of bone-in chicken first thing in the morning, but that’s personal preference, not a deal-breaker.

Coffee & Service: Endless hot refills, attentive staff, and genuinely kind vibes. The coffee was solid good drip brew, no bitterness, and they never let the cup go empty.

And yes, one biscuit went mysteriously missing before I could grab a photo… my sister couldn’t resist diving in early. 😂

All are delicious and I can't wait to return. The pizza is the best I've ever had - crispy but still foldable thin crust, flavorful sauce, and top quality mozzarella and EVOO. My waiter was kind and attentive, who informed me that Tino still comes in and does things like weeding the plants. He also said that they are terrific employers. Not many places today hit all the check marks, but Tino's hits it out of the ballpark.“

“Based on my experience there, I loved it but I’m hesitant to give five stars cause I only had the ribeye cheesesteak which may be one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had out in NJ in all seriousness.
