Probably had a burger once and it was good — beyond burger, so you can’t really mess the up. The only thing I don’t like about this place is how OVERPRICED they are, especially with a lot of their portion sizes. I have to really be craving their mac and cheese to spend money here, but it definitely isn’t one of those go-to vegan spots in my opinion, unless you’re okay with constantly spending the money. But yeah very unreasonable prices for a lot of basic stuff.“

The staff is so lovely, the food is fresh and delicious and reasonably priced for the quality, the drinks are fun. I've brought babies, worked here, stopped by with my dog for takeout, and sat outside, and all experiences have been great. Highly recommend Hybrid!“

Well, look no more for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Great rustic look, comfy seating with back support, loads of outlets for laptops, and the second-floor space are super cute and cozy too. Oh and there's a small little outside area that's pretty cool as well. Shaquille (hope I spelled it right) was AMAZING! So down-to-earth, friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She made me the Tumeric latte for me and I all but licked the cup clean. I had the hummus & cucumber on sourdough toast and it was divine. Also, a great option for vegans. I totally recommend this place if you have similar needs or just want to hang out with some friends. I will surely be going back.“

“The food was INSANELY good! We had the Narkel Doodhe murgi and the Chingri Dopiaza. The chicken was flavourful but not too spicy - and our favorite.

They were also kind enough to throw in a complimentary potato bhortha which paired perfectly with the rice and curries! It’ll absolutely be a staple in my future orders.

We also got the mango lassi, which was not your typical lassi (it’s thinner and less sweet), so it might be a hit or a miss for some. I loved it!

“Ondo was exceptional! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. While the layout and vibe of the restaurant are more casual than upscale, the quality of the food more than makes up for it.

Chef Brian Kim, the owner of Ondo, also created the Michelin-starred Oiji Mi in NYC—so it’s no surprise that this spot is just as impressive. Ondo offers a tasting menu that’s a more affordable yet equally delicious alternative to Oiji Mi. It’s a fantastic way to experience elevated Korean cuisine without the Michelin price tag.

Chef Brian also owns other restaurants, including Domo Domo, and Ondo is a wonderful addition to his portfolio. The restaurant is co-owned with his wife, who leads the pastry program, adding a sweet finishing touch to an already amazing meal. Definitely worth a visit!“

“We had the BEST experience with Casa Cubana catering our large joint 80th/50th birthday party. The audience was made up of our large group of family and friends (roughly 50 Cubans :-) and they are a discerning audience when it comes to Cuban food). “JC Buddy’s of Jersey City Brunch Spot Worth Waking Up For!

We came for brunch and wow, Buddy’s absolutely delivered.

Biscuits & Gravy: The biscuits were fluffy clouds of joy… buttery, golden, and perfectly baked. The sausage gravy was rich, flavorful, and smothered lovingly over top. It didn’t drown the biscuits (which I appreciate!) but I wouldn’t have minded just a splash more gravy to soak up with those last bites. The side of potatoes? Unreal. Crispy, tender, almost like Greek lemon potatoes met a breakfast hash… and they fell in love.

Chicken & Waffles: O.M.G. The chicken was seasoned and spiced to perfection, crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and not a hint of greasiness. The waffles were light, fluffy, and dusted with powdered sugar like a brunch snowstorm. Loved the option of classic maple and spiced maple syrup for a little kick. The only (tiny) drawback? I’m not a huge fan of bone-in chicken first thing in the morning, but that’s personal preference, not a deal-breaker.

Coffee & Service: Endless hot refills, attentive staff, and genuinely kind vibes. The coffee was solid good drip brew, no bitterness, and they never let the cup go empty.

And yes, one biscuit went mysteriously missing before I could grab a photo… my sister couldn’t resist diving in early. 😂

“My first trip to Jersey lead me to Tinos and I am so lucky to have found them! Their cute outdoor dining area was shaded. Menu has tons of options - I had the Margherita pizza, Pinot and a cannoli! All are delicious and I can't wait to return. The pizza is the best I've ever had - crispy but still foldable thin crust, flavorful sauce, and top quality mozzarella and EVOO. My waiter was kind and attentive, who informed me that Tino still comes in and does things like weeding the plants. He also said that they are terrific employers.
