“Apple Jacks is great. The owner John fixed me and hubby up back in 1987. The bar is really fun and they don't only have parties they have parties for the kids to. When my kids were little they had a big party and put a jumping blow up thing in the parking lot for the kids and they also got Ralph the other owner dress up as Santa Clause and have the kids sit on his lap and get presents.“

“The craft beer menu here is great! Almost got lost looking through it and deciding what to order. For food, I got the veggie quesadilla, which was packed full of veggies and cheese for a tasty and hearty meal. It could have used something a little spicy (maybe on the side) to help balance the cheese flavor, but thats just my taste. “I have been going there for 40 years now. Always great delicious food as well as, a whole page of specials. The specials are always different. Their burgers are grilled in the center of the bar. They also have a delicious cheddar cheese that they pour over there hamburgers. The house salad with the house dressing is always a winner. Lettuce, egg, little shrimp, with the house dressing! I always loved the crab Melt aways! you cannot make a reservation, there is always a wait for dinner. get there at 11:30 for lunch, it fills up fast! Lunch specials come with a soup or a salad. Recently, renovated, outside area as well. With, it’s about time, new bathrooms!Vegetarian options: There’s so many vegetarian options, especially with all of their specials.Dietary restrictions: If you need something they will accommodate you.Parking: They have handicap on the side of the building, as well as in the back of the building, which is the entrance.Kid-friendliness: Brought my kids, since they were very little. “We wandered in here on St. Patrick’s Day even though the website said they were closed on Sundays. Speakeasy bar in a residential neighborhood with friendly bar maids and locals.To crowded to order food but, I definitely will be back to try the “eats”!Went back last night for “eats “ and had the thin crust pizza, if you’re a fan of this kind of pie as am I this is your place. They have a generous drink pour also. It is now in my regular monthly rotation!“

“I went here Friday, for the first time... Everything about it was great. If you're into live music and good vibes you have to try it out. The Friday night band plays Grateful Dead, and they do it very well. The place was packed with friendly people having a great time. I had no idea what to expect when I walked in, I was really blown away. The food was also very good...your typical bar food menu. There's a grill behind the bar, my friend and I had a burger and a cheesesteak with fries. The prep area and grill were very clean and the food was fresh. I was pleasantly surprised with the whole evening and I'll definitely be going back ??“

“Two words: FRIED ZUCCHINI. It’s a must as an appetizer. Get the pesto cauliflower and use the same sauce for dipping while you’re at it. SO GOOD!In general, my partner and I both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The veggie risotto & panzanella salad were our meals of choice and the portions definitely filled us up.We recommend the Red Bank location (and the Asbury location!) to all ☺️“

“It was worth the wait. It is such a fun atmosphere. There is décor/memorabilia all over the restaurant. The servers are in fun outfits, too. There is never a dull moment between that and the live music. The menus are news papers and I got a real kick out of the whole vibe. The food was amazing, too! We got a prickly pear margarita that was to die for. We enjoyed out lunch and would recommend!“

“Great beer selection on tap. Best bar pies around. Live music occasionally and a DJ on the weekends. They have one pool table and lots of TVs so you can watch all kinds of sports. Sundays during football season is great as they have all the games on and the DJ will host games like bingo, trivia, etc. You go there for the beer, food, and fun but you stay for the Tuna.“

“Dinner before show. Waiter, Tyree, was very helpful, considerate, and very aware that we had to leave early for a show. Party of 8 people, all orders accurately taken and well presented. Sadly, did not have time for dessert but will go back another time. Great atmosphere in restaurant section & had a sports bar section as well. Like I said, will be back when I can.“
