“I've been craving a good Cuban sandwich and finally stopped at Montunos. The Cuban sandwich was fresh and delicious! They add garlic butter to the sandwich, which enhanced the flavor. The pernil is well-seasoned, moist, and tender. I would definitely go back just for this sandwich. My husband had fried chicken from the buffet with yuca con mojo and tostones. My only minor suggestion would be to offer a mojo with the tostones, but aside from that, the food and service were excellent.“

“We had the BEST experience with Casa Cubana catering our large joint 80th/50th birthday party. The audience was made up of our large group of family and friends (roughly 50 Cubans :-) and they are a discerning audience when it comes to Cuban food). Everyone raved about the food- the lechón was super juicy, the mojo was perfect , everyone loved the empanadas and croquetas too. Diana and Mercedes were so helpful and communicated everything really clearly we are looking forward to working with Casa Cubana again ! Thanks again for making it such a special day!“

“We came to The Cuban in Union City to celebrate my stepfather’s birthday, and everything about the experience was amazing! Our server, Asiria, was absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and thoughtful with every little detail. She really made us feel welcome.

The team even surprised us with a birthday song and a flan, which was such a sweet and memorable touch! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was vibrant with great music playing in the background.

We had such a great time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!“

-Expensive ? Tbh NO (is one of the cheapest places I’ve went) Ive taken my 3 kids, my mom and I and my bill wont make it to 150.
Can get packed on weekends I prefer to call and get an estimate wait time.

“A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal“

“Hace poco hice un pedido para un evento social familiar por un valor de $540 pero decidí pagar con mi tarjeta de crédito, obviamente me cobran el impuesto tax 6.625% de venta, sin embargo, tuvieron el descaro de cobrarme un 2.9% adicional por el uso de la tarjeta de crédito. Cuando les pregunté, me dijeron que había un cajero (ATM) automático que podía usar, por lo tanto si lo pagaría en efectivo y solo pagaría $ 540. Parece obvio que están tratando de estafar el impuesto sobre las ventas del gobierno. en cualquier caso, la comida no era tan buena y nunca volveré a ellos. The menu consists of daily meals (ex: “we serve pot roast and pork on monday for this meal and beef next day”) along side some everyday general options.

This “cafeteria” really is so small and downscale, so dont expect complete upscale food, but you do have a warm cozy hispanic spot. There is a language barrier between English and Spanish but I personally didnt need to worry about it ymmv

Options include soups, some meats, some carb options (tostones, bean, rice) and some veggies.

Food is cheap, but there is a $10 card minimum.“

The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter. My only qualm was the pricing for what I ordered. It came to $29, including 2 bags of cheese doodles.Would I go back... Yes. Everything looked vibrant & fresh... I wanted to try EVERYTHING.“

What a delight.The coffee has a strange taste, but it's not bad. The breads and croissants are delicious.The bathroom is small, but it allows you to freshen up ?The man in the kitchen is quite nice, and the lady at the front desk speaks very well, the site makes you feel comfortable. They let me stay for a while and it was great, because looking at a broken down truck is no fun.“

“This is a family favorite! Since the food is fresh and very cheap compare to today’s prices within other restaurants around the same area. It could be better flavored, but they have their own seasoning. My favorite dish would have to be the Mangu with eggs, cheese and salami for breakfast. Cannot for get their oatmeal drink& hot chocolate.
