“My FAVORITE omakase in the city.... I have been insanely lucky to go three times, every time it gets better and better. And really this may be my favorite omakase in the world... I have been very lucky to spend some time in Tokyo and eat at some of the best restaurants there... I think it's better! The tea selection is especially impressive - sometimes sushi restaurants phone it in, but they have a truly impressive selection of teas and prepare them properly. The only thing that hurts my heart is some of the other guests can be a bit rude... DO NOT LEAVE SUSHI SITTING THERE.... it is an insult to the chef, the fish, and also ruins the perfect sensation of the cool fish and warm rice finding melding into sublime harmony on the tongue... RESPECT THE FISH AND YOURSELF! If you have a small stomach, skip breakfast and lunch... it is a lot of food but it is worth it to fit it all in there. A once in a lifetime experience!!“

“I’ve been to this place twice, and both visits were excellent. I tried the $78, 11-course omakase and the $118, 15-course option. While both were great, I preferred the 15 courses because of the wagyu—it was a standout.

Each piece was expertly prepared by the chef and packed with flavor. Even the ginger was unique, served in cube form, which set it apart from other places. The green tea ice cream was also a highlight, really delicious.

The flavor of the food is spectacular. I travel to Sea Shai to pick up my order because it is several neighborhoods away, totally worth the drive. “Owned by a married couple, they are both super welcoming when you get inside. They are very kind and make you feel like you're at home because the chef cooks right in front of you and it's pretty cozy in there.

Amazing sushi! It's seriously the best that I have had in my life. The food is fresh with very good quality and delicious flavor. I feel like no other restaurant/place does it like Ino Sushi. The place is also quiet and calm.

Needless to say, this was our “W.” We drove 45 minutes from North Brunswick and it was so worth it, we were truly satisfied. For appetizer we got; scallops butter yaki, chicken katsu, scallion pancakes, clear soup, miso soup, seaweed salad, and mango prawn salad. We ordered 4 specialty sushi rolls; blue crab fantastic, tropical, jersey, and rainbow dragon. For dessert we got bubble tea which was on the house 😊 we will definitely be back to eat here again! The only negative thing I have to say is that the place was very small inside and not many seats available for dine in as most of their business appears to be take out, but the food and service were so good that it cancels that out. “Stopped by for some takeout before heading back to Brooklyn and was presently surprised. The shop is no frills basic Chinese and Japanese takeout. The restaurant was clean, service was friendly and pretty quick. Food was descent for takeout Chinese food, though the sushi was just fine. The combination dish that I got reminded me of late night college life a night after drinking and grabbing some quick fast Chinese food.“

“I think mikawa may be the best sushi place in the neighborhood. I have also eaten at Sapporo and Momo's test kitchen, but I think Mikawa, for a late night dinner that is slightly more upscale, is the best bang for your buck and has the best sushi rolls.

Me and my wife have come here for a number of years now, and they never dissapoint. I also think the 7407 roll is the best sushi rolls I've had. It's a roll with avocado, shrimp, Sriracha on top!, and some fish (can't remember what, but its good).

They also do a great set of desserts, like key lime pie and fried ice cream. For appetizers, the edamame and steamed veggies gyoza are always a hit with my family and our plates are always clean after eating here. I think the special rolls are slightly pricey, but worth it (like the 7407).

The normal rolls, like Boston Rolls, are priced at great value of around 6-7 bucks, while the special rolls can vary from 13 - 17.

Finally, they offer $2.50 beer like Sapporo, which is a crazy price. A normal size bottle as well! Come here for sushi, they do a fantastic job!“

The best time to go is at around 3:00. The restaurant was virtually empty when we arrived and we were seated immediately.
As soon as we ordered our food, it was on our table within 7 minutes.
Our waiter was very kind!
I highly recommend the Rainbow roll and the Kinya Ramen bowl.
The serving sizes are large and more than enough for one person.
My boyfriend and I plan to return for the excellent food and upstanding service.

“I love this place. My sister and I try to go at least once or twice a month. The food is great, the quality is awesome, and the service is good. You don't have to wait too long for your food. My little sister usually gets her California and shrimp tempura rolls. I get the rainbow roll and the O.M.G roll but everything we've tried is crazy good. “This is one of the best sushi places in FiDi. The sushi is super fresh, their ramen broth is delicious and they even do a solid Katsu Don over rice.

All of their portions are very generous for the price, especially for lower Manhattan.

We’ve usually been able to walk in and get a seating and while I don’t want it to become so crowded that we can’t do that anymore, I also hope it gets more traffic so that it sticks around for a long time.
