“Closest place to get a gluten free bagel/breakfast sandwich for me. It’s a bit disorganized/hectic when ordering inside - people who already ordered are either usually in the way of the register or standing on the side. Not the biggest issue, but something that could be improved upon if a waiting area or designated pickup area were established.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bagels offered.“

“My wife and I spotted this deli on the way to a friends house and Im very glad we did. We picked up a wedding kielbasa, which the kind ladies, who ran the place, told us meant it was double smoked, something I, who am half polish, did not know. We also bought some peirogi, and enjoyed all for dinner the next day. A friendly place, with good things to eat. If you stop
you'll be glad you did!“

“I had the pork cutlet today and it was just amazing. The cutlet is breaded and surrounded by a downright tasty combination of seasoning and fried to golden brown perfection in such a fashion that your taste buds will be forever mystified, just as mine have been for about a year or so now since I discovered this gem while traveling down US-46 on essential business. Everything I have had from here is so delicious. Go there as soon as you can because it’s really really good.“

“Delicious Polish food. I like to stop by for lunch of kielbasa & pierogi. Sometimes I buy kielbasa links to cook & serve at home; I like trying the different versions. It's also nice to pick up Polish chocolates, cookies, etc. Glad it's so close.“

“Listen I've tried pizza all over NJ this place absolutely hits different.. Not a thin pizza or a regular its a SQUARE pizza but do NOT get this confused with a Sicilian. Everything is made to order!!! We got a Chicken parm pizza with vodka sauce well done.... They told us 25 mins. Went to pick it up and was chatting with someone who seemed to be the owner. (Didn't ask) I said this is our first time ordering from you, she said your going to love this pizza. She then said I'm sorry it's taking so long with the ricotta... My mind intrigued I said for what, she said, going in the vodka sauce..... I wish I had a picture, but we absolutely destroyed it. Huge chunks of chicken cutlets as well! I recommend not to walk or stroll but RUN to get this pizza! Highly recommend and definitely didn't disappoint I will be back. Also got a list of their specials, which change weekly/biweekly as I was informed.“
“We love Otto’s! My Mom grew up right down the road and even though we live in Massachusetts now, it’s our fav and we’ve been eating the German potato salad for 50 plus years! This is our go-to deli for the BEST German potato salad on the East coast! We have driven 3 hours just to get it numerous times. My Mom said it’s been the same exact recipe for 75 plus years, our NJ family has been eating it for that long or longer. The prices are great and I also love that the inside looks the same as when I first remember going in around the age of 5 or 6. I Highly recommend this wonderful family owned and operated small business.“

“I was in the area and decided to stop in for a sub. My bf has been coming here for years and swears by this deli as one of the best around. This mom and pop deli is not much to look at from the outside. They have free parking out front with several spots they share with another business.Once inside you can see why they call this place The Parsippany Deli/ Emerald Gifts aka The Irish Deli.As soon as you walk in the front door, they have a glass counter that displays beautiful China from Ireland. They sell teas, marmalade, sausages, bacon, black and white pudding, Irish candies, also Brennan's bread.During the month of March they make and sell homemade Irish Soda Bread. As you make your way to the front counter you will meet owner Eddie, and Avril. They were both very friendly and told me about their business. Posted on the counter is their sandwich and salad menus. The Parsippany deli/Emerald gifts has been in business for 50 years, now I know why. Their prices are reasonable, and everything is homemade. They also do catering. They roast all their own meats like Roast Beef, Turkey Breast, and Baked Virginia Ham. I highly suggest getting a half of a sub. It’s as big as most whole subs. This place doesn’t skimp on their meats, just the opposite. When I got home and opened up my sub I was pleasantly surprised, and couldn’t believe how much meat was on it. It was probably one of the best Italian subs I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over for subs.I ordered their Italian Sub - Ham, Salami, Capocollo they call it Hot Ham, and Cheese. I got mine with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, oil and vinegar. It was really delicious. I wound up eating a half of a half and saved the rest for later. My bf ordered their Roast Beef n American Cheese Sub. The Roast Beef was cooked perfectly rare and piled on the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. He enjoyed it so much he ate the entire thing.I also ordered 2 of their homemade salads. Macaroni and Potato Salad. The macaroni was my favorite. It was rich and creamy.I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed
Parking: They share the spaces with another business. It doesn’t seem to be a problem to park“

“A very dear family friend passed away, and we wanted to do some thing for this family for after the week. I called in this order for wraps, and I must say that each and every one of them was done perfectly. The generous amount of meats in each of the sandwiches was incredible. Everybody raved on how delicious and fresh each and everyone was. Thank you for taking care of us in such a kind matter. We will be back.“

“I got a take-out lunch after a hike in the area. The fish sandwich with tartar sauce was very good (and very obviously made in-house with care), and their cucumber salad was the perfect side dish. I had fun browsing the shelves of products while I waited, and even picked up some German-made Nivea cream (the best!). Danke!“

“Was being punished and doing a little time in Fairfield in the winter, I'm from San Diego. However Bobby's saved me on multiple fronts... Stellar and reasonable food and great company. Where else can I walk in and hear the soundtrack to the Godfather and hear an ongoing debate about who the bad guys were in that movie! I'll find my way back there, you heard it from me!!“

“This place changed my life. I took one bite and suddenly literally every single problem i’ve ever had in my life was solved. I don’t care if a sandwich and a drink was 17 bucks, it was so good I’ll gladly throw away money for another stallone ?“

“Stopped in for lunch on our way to Adirondacks and felt immediately welcomed (even though we arrived 20 min before closing). My husband had a western egg sandwich and the homemade corned beef hash, which was exceptional. I had a tuna sandwich and while it’s hard to get excited about tuna fish, it was a perfect sandwich. This is the type of neighborhood place that every town had at one point - a place where people met to eat, share the news of the day, connect - and of which there are too few today. A real gem.“

“Does Taylor ham, egg, and cheese ring a bell? Super unique sandwich menu, too. The town high school team is the Highlanders, and the sandwiches are named after teachers, coaches, and things in school. Those sandwiches may have been those people's preferred invention, and/or discovery.“

“I can't give a full review because it was my 1st time visiting the establishment. I can give a review of what I ordered & of the person that served me. Everything looked & smelled good. The person who served me was kind & friendly. I had the picadillo with white rice, sweet plantains, a fried yuca fritter, & a side of beans. It all was very tasty, with the exception of the fritter. My only qualm was the pricing for what I ordered. It came to $29, including 2 bags of cheese doodles.Would I go back... Yes. Everything looked vibrant & fresh... I wanted to try EVERYTHING.“

“I'm a native NYer that's been loving in Jersey for 14 years. The only thing I miss about NY is the fast paced service at the deli. Kings Kid is the first time I've found a NJ deli with fast speedy (but still friendly!) Service!!! The breakfast sandwiches were delicious, the store was clean and we'll stocked, prices were fair and great service!! I'll be back!“

“Working at a house in the area and this place was 8 minutes from the jobsite. It's a bit expensive but saves you from running down the mountain so you're paying for convenience. Tried the taylor ham, egg and cheese. It was prepared well and the roll was super soft. Was it New Jerseys best? Definitely not, but overall it was decent. Co-worker got a sandwich off the board, believe it was the Susie. Once again, not blowing your socks off, but still decent. Definitely at the top end of deli pricing but an ok spot to grab a bite. Service was slow but we didn't call in and it seemed like they were a bit busy. Staff was polite.“
