“What an amazing stay! The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable, ensuring a restful night. Dinner at the Dog & Deer Tavern was a highlight, the steak frites were excellent. I also enjoyed a beer on the heated back patio, with its serene waterfall creating the perfect atmosphere after a long day. Almost forgot to mention breakfast across the street at their sister location Stockton Market. I recommend The Local breakfast sandwich.

“Went there with the family (10 people), the food was good, service was correct (the waitress was nice and got pretty much everything right), could have checked up on us more often (probably short-staffed). Nothing special about the atmosphere.

“We went for Christmas and had a 5 star experience. The service and food were excellent. Our server Adam was so personable. The atmosphere was the best part. It was warm and cozy, decorated beautifully, and so fun! I even met George Washington after he crossed the Delaware.“

“From the moment we walked in for our work team dinner, the fast service impressed us. It's rare to find a place that balances speed with such high quality. All three members of our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals, which were not only healthy but also incredibly tasty and fresh. I personally loved the Eggplant Parmesan, and my colleagues raved about the Sesame Chicken.

“Very nice anniversary evening at the inn. We had not been there in many years. There have been a few different owners in the recent past but it still feels familiar. Different but familiar which I think is great. My friend is running the place now and seems to have put together a great team and some very nice dishes. Just last week we were texting about the inn and the menu and I mentioned the famous tomato bisque that the inn used to serve. Well not even 10 days later it’s back in the menu, which I think will be a welcome surprise to the local crowd. We are looking forward to returning.“

“Shame on you Iron Hill Newtown for cheaping out at your Girl Scout cookie pairing event. Last year 8 cookies/ beers were offered plus 1 extra for King of the Hill members. Now it’s 4 per flight no KOTH bonus. Plus to find out that the flights are not fresh poured but from growlers for the event was as true disappointment. We do not recommend the Brewers Breakfast. We have been loyal Iron Hill patrons for over 15 years at multiple locations.“

“Went for the show, loved the food! place was full for a show, waitress was personable and attentive entire night. Food runners were great. Apps were big enough for sharing, I would recommend the civiche and the guacamole!“

“We had a large party of 30 that they handled flawlessly. This was after 2 small pairs of two tested it out independently. The reservation went without a hitch. Best description is elevated bar food, with a few diners thrown in there. Or party had everything from a kids hot dog to Caribbean jerk chicken with mango salsa and cauliflower rice. All of it was great!“
