“The food??? AMAZING!! The chicken wings got so much flavor and the rice is perfectly seasoned not too much not too little. Now my favorite thing??? That shrimp tempura poke bowl is AMAZINGGG. I literally will gladly take that 16 minute drive any day. Edit: ordered again today, got the same bowl but with brown rice due to diabetes, was SUPER GOOD. Will never complain !“

“Kei Sushi is our favorite neighborhood sushi spot. We proudly bring out-of-town friends and family here to show off the quality, yet unpretentious nature, of the Philly food scene. The fish is always super fresh yet the prices are fairly reasonable. My personal favorite is their chirashi bowl — and I love that they make it kosher-style (you know you’re in Philly when this is an option already offered on the menu 😅). I was waiting for a train and needed something to settle my stomach, I had the Tonkatsu ramen to my surprise was reasonably priced for 14$ had a soda and the staff/owners just kept giving me free complimentary food!

They gave me a cheesesteak Bao Bun and Scallion pancake!

This little gem reminds me of a small ramen shop salarymen would frequent after a hard day of work in Japan before the last train back home.

It’s a must visit and a staple shop in the suburban station and deserves praise!“

“we ordered delivery from Asian chef tonight, and when I got my order (bento box with salmon teriyaki, rice, shrimp shumai, and cucumber avocado roll). Instead of salmon, I ended up receiving shrimp teriyaki. I wasn’t going to call but I figured I may as well just let them know- the employee who answered the phone was so nice and apologetic, and immediately offered to bring me the correct protein that I ordered. I accepted the offer and asked if he wanted me to return the untouched shrimp order, but he said to keep it! then, I expected them to just deliver me the salmon to add to the meal, but they brought me an ENTIRE other bento box with the salmon! I was so shocked! not only that, but they also returned the cash to make up the difference in price on the order. they did NOT have to do that, but it shows so much about their restaurant. we also ordered some sushi, drunken noodles, and a seaweed salad and it did not disappoint at all. we will be ordering from asian chef again soon thanks to their kindness, and their excellent quality food!!“

“Everything from the bahn mi to the wings are absolutely amazing, the workers at the shop are always delightful, especially the owner Lynh and her family that will sometimes her run the counter. We go out of our way regularly to come and see them, especially when their truck is set up at the Wissahickon Brewery! Keep in mind their business is small and family run so if they are out of what you might have been looking at, just pick something else! You’ll absolutely love whatever you get!“

The food was really good as well. The portion sizes they give are huge for the prices they charge. I had the dry pepper wings, miso soup, and shrimp. Everything was seasoned well and fulfilling. The only complaint I would have are some of the non alcoholic drinks. The lemonade was entirely too sweet as well as the mango citrus drink. I prefer the pho ga here over the one on Washington which is now over hyped and over run. Tender, juicy and moist every single time. “There is a reason this restaurant is packed every night. The crab& cream cheese wontons are the best I've ever had, best served eating in. The general tso chicken is fresh and flavorful. I am a huge fan of their green beans. Their food is never greasy, but will still take care of a hangover. I have been a customer since they opened, and I will drive to pick up no matter how far I live. The interior and atmosphere is absolutely transcendent. Lately, my husband and I fight over their fried wonton things and home made duck sauce. They are the best I ever had. I love how nothing in this restaurant is greasy. My cousin says they have the best sushi, but I don't eat it. They make it in the dining room in full view of customers.
Last night (Friday), I was carrying my toddler and a box of food, so a male employee came to open the doors for me. It was super nice, because they were busy. The women there aren't really nice, but I feel it's a culture thing. Americans seem overly friendly to other cultures.

“My father, grandmother and I visited this location today and had a good experience. We ordered a bowl of hot and sour soup which was shared between all three of us with some left over. Of course we had the lettuce wraps which were delicious as to be expected. I liked the way the meals were served... if you wanted to share your meal with others they provide extra plates. My firecracker shrimp was delicious. Not too spicy but not bland at all. My father had changes spicy chicken and my grandmother had the Teriyaki beef. Everything was delicious. Our server Sam was great and packed up all of our left overs. The best part of the meal was the limited time dessert called the Pink Slip cheesecake! It was to die for. I would recommend that dessert to everyone!

Only negative was that both my grandmother and my father thought the music was too loud but when we mentioned it to the server she tried to address the issue for us.“
