“My friend and I went here for an early dinner with my nine year old daughter and my friends two year old toddler. We love Asian , especially sushi, so we're always excited to try a new spot. We had never been here before and we were the only people there at 6 pm on a Friday. Take out ?? I dunno. The food was great !! My friend had the link salad and roll, some dumplings and a special roll. I had the avocado salad which was huge and two special rolls !! All was fantastic and service was friendly and speedy !“

“This is a place I really never think of, its just not in my usual repertoire, but I did have an occasion to go there for a business meeting with a very Orthodox man who had come to town to visit me several months ago, and while it is not really known as a sit down place, there were a few tables, the waitress was delightful, and the sushi was excellent. We were left alone in that quiet corner to conduct our business meeting and it was comfortable and quiet. I understand that the real action is on Fridays, or Thursdays and Fridays, in preparation for the weekend, with their take out appetizers, and based on the sushi being so top-notch, I'm sure the other items are excellent too. I can see that there is a great amount of effort and enthusiasm that goes into running this establishment on a daily basis, and I appreciate them being here. The quality of the fish is of the highest quality. I live near Xina and this place crushes that spot. They have toro and king salmon on hand all the time. Not only is the quality of the fish the best the creativity of their rolls is Also the best I’ve ever had. The upstairs portion of the restaurant is small but it’s nice. It’s BYOB which I also like. We ordered the lunch special mixed veggies with pork fried rice and wonton soup and also got an egg roll. The food was excellent. The rice was not dried out and had good flavor. The brown sauce on the veggies had great flavor and the veggies were cooked perfectly. The wonton soup broth had nice flavor and the wonton melted in your mouth. Their prices are much cheaper than their closest competitor. We will definitely be ordering from aki again.“

“Kissui Sushi is a casual, neighborhood sushi place. We always get a warm reception when we walk in. It’s been around for many years. Nowadays it seems a bit quiet and slightly dated but we always enjoy getting a quick, reasonably priced dinner here. The rolls are fresh and I like their salad dressing, it has a great sesame flavor, I prefer it over the orangey ones that other Japanese restaurants serve. The miso soup is full of tofu and seaweed, they certainly don’t skimp on the goodies in the soup. The tempura is lightly fried and yummy.“

A dollar extra really isn't a lot of money added on my check but if a restaurants wine list says $28 for a bottle of wine and your check says $29 your ripping people off , ( if 50 people order that wine the restaurant is $50 dollars ahead. I'm just saying and next time I will mention it. ) Now listen up , The Restaurant adds the gratuity To your check so some people may not notice right away like we did. I noticed it when I saw ( Additional gratuity ) on the credit card slip. I asked my server if the restaurant made it a practice of adding a gratuity to a party of 3 She replied they add the gratuity to all checks no matter how many people are there. 1,2 3 or more. The server I asked said she tells all her guests a 15% gratuity is added. The server we had didn't mention this at all. So if you double tip they won't mention that to me this isn't honest. It's ripping people off. It's my own fault for not checking everything on my check while I was st the table it was when I got home I realized the server received 10 extra dollars over the 25% she already received. That was my mistake. We will go back because the food was great.“
