“I visited Sashey's for the first time on April 23 and I must say the food I ordered (curry goat with rice and peas and a brown stew fish) was excellent! “I’m so happy I came across this Jamaican restaurant! Every dish here is freshly prepared. Not sure who the chef is here, but give that man a raise! Lol….authentic Jamaican food is definitely a big plus for this location. They give you many options aside from their famous rice and peas with a side of chicken. They also have a variety of soups on their menu. Their prices are very fair and for that reason I will definitely be back, and this time for some good ol’ oxtails! “This place has in this town for 28 years, there is a reason why they have been around so long. The owner is this wonderful sweet lady that, she is definitely Jamaican be a those Pattie’s hit different. The oxtails are succulent and falls off the bones, the plantain’s are sweet and crispy on the edges. If you’re looking for delicious Jamaica food go here, always call before you go because she starts cooking in the morning and at times the food isn’t ready until after 12pm but it’s very much worth the wait. ????The prices are very reasonable but those Pattie’s are to die for.“

“I have been looking for Mac and Cheese in this area for DAYS!!! So many places have disappointed me but this plate actually had SOUL. A medium plate of jerk chicken, rice and collard greens cost me about $18, but you can tell by the long lines that the food is worth it. The pair are patient and friendly.
