“Service and every dishes other than sushi was great! However, I really have to give the sushi rice they used and sushi selection limitation a comment because the rice used is not for sushi. Fish is really fresh, but rice is hard to chew or swallow. And selection for sushi is quite limited. The old menu they have has scallop and squid, none of that is actually selling any more. There’s basic fish sushi and all types of rolls tho which is nice, but rice really makes me hard to enjoy them. Despite all that, ither food choice is various from cold dish to hot fried rice to fruits and dessert. In general it is worth to try“

“We picked up our trays of food tonight. We enjoyed everything .
It was prepared perfectly….We had the fried rice, hibachi noodles, filet mignon, chicken, shrimp and vegetable trays ..the salad was fresh and delicious with the lemon orange and hibachi ginger dressings. Wow…so delicious ….
Everything was cooked perfectly and there was ample amount in each tray…so glad we decided on this restaurant… A big thank you to Arirang…“

“I had the honor privilege and luck of being the very first customer to be served at Kanpachi Sushi during their grand opening on 4/29/2022. The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. The second thing I noticed was the how the new renovation which makes you want to come in and have a seat at a table or sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi master construct your order before your eyes. I am impressed with the addition of this new business to Amboy Ave. The food is fresh, top-quality ingredients prepared by a world class chief and sushi master. I had lunch there yesterday and today. Oh, and did I mention that Kanpachi is a BYOB establishment? Sushi steak and Hibachi lovers, do yourself a favor and get over there. I am making this my go to spot for lunch or dinner, I give Kanpachi 5 stars. Thank you for picking Amboy Ave to open your sushi house.“

“Highly disappointed went in with a pert of 5 to celebrate a party which was explained. While having our starters waitress informs us they if we don’t mind them adding 2 of their customers to our table so that the same chef will cook for us together.The hibachi grill part only had another party with us being the second & all other tables were empty. We told her we don’t feel comfortable with that and reminded her we are here for a party. So she comes back telling us her manager said it will have to be that way and we left. I can’t be believe that lost 5 customers over 2 and they even had the nerve to tell us to move over for them to add 2 people we didn’t know to our table. If the tables were all full we would have understood why but the whole place was empty. I would never recommend this place to anyone“

“Picked up food at Muzi for the first time and was really impressed by how fresh the sushi was and even got a kitchen app (beef negamaki) that was likewise fresh and tasty - too often sushi places that also have kitchen food have meat that isn't the freshest but that wasn't the case at Muzi. Order was ready in very reasonable time (2 sushi chefs were working), service was friendly and they even have a few comfortable booths and tables for folks that want to eat there. Highly recommend. Parking is decent in the lot at that strip mall but watch out for the potholes :-)“

“Had a really great experience at this sushi spot! The sushi and sashimi were very fresh and absolutely delicious — you can really taste the quality.

It’s a nice little café with a cozy atmosphere, and the staff is very polite and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better.

The beef bento box was very good — flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. The presentation was also beautiful; even the service plates were very nice and thoughtfully arranged.

Definitely a lovely place for fresh sushi and a relaxed dining experience. Would happily come back!“

“I love going here for my sushi! Probably the best spot in Bayonne I know so far. The tempura rolls always taste fresh and crunchy. The only thing I wish they had was more seating but I see it as a pick up spot. They also have a lot of Japanese snacks and deserts to try out.“

“This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh Really impressed by their milk tea as well. We got the original and Taro milk tea and it was fantastic. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. Would definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!“

“Phenomenal! Sushi was amazing! Spicy Tuna was a huge hit at the table and the staff was so kind. We were gifted warm hand towels at the beginning of the dinner and the place was very evenly spaced out. No sitting on top of each other even though the place seemed small. I highly recommend the sushi platter for two and the miso soup.“

“Went here for the first time with my son and I am so glad we found this gem! When you step inside, you’re walking into a peaceful oasis filled with natural light, plants, and beautiful decor. You can dine in or take out. The sushi was so fresh and delicious! We also ordered fried dumplings and shrimp shumai. “Nothing beats enjoying the sushi at the restaurant but due to the covid pandemic and with an abundance of caution for safety the restaurant is takeout only. Regardless, Mr. Bin's is our "go-to" sushi place. We routinely travel from Union to Cranford because it's that good! The freshness is evident with every bite. The presentation of the sushi is perfect. I miss hanging with Mr. Bin at the restaurant and looking forward that once again. Especially his "special" selections that he surprises me with.“

“First time here and I got the chicken and beef teriyaki with the noodles and veggies. It was delicious. In general I don't care for sushi, but the teriyaki was great and I would definitely get that again. Even though I liked it that much I'll need to try some of the other dishes on the menu first to know if it deserves a higher rating. Other than that it's a clean place with a friendly staff, not too loud and plenty of seating space and parking.“

“I've been going to different sushi spots but I just found my spot. The sushi is super fresh, tastes really good but what caught my attention was definitely the service. I've come here abt 20*** times so far and I've never had a bad food experience. I've had sushi from a lot of other AYCE, all you can eat, sushi places and I think this one is the best in terms of quality and variety. It's about $30 per person.

The fish here tastes fresh and NOT watered down like other places I've been to. The miso soup is good here too, it doesn't taste artificial and sweet like other places.

The special rolls are a little questionable, there are a lot of special rolls that aren't my type and extremely filling but I like the sashimi and regular rolls. The salmon is good here, so I always get salmon sashimi and Alaska rolls.

They also have other foods available in their AYCE like shumai, sesame chicken, lo mein, and calamari, takoyaki, etc. Most of their non-sushi items are good too. I have some friends who don't like seafood but they still get the ayce.

ONE THING TO NOTE, if you come here with a party of 5 or more, you will be charged a 15% service fee.“

“Wasabi Thai is one of the only places in Bayonne where you can get thai food and good sushi. We come here often and they have an extensive menu! I am vegetarian and always enjoy coming here. I usually get the buddhist delight. My friends love the sushi here and always boast about how fresh it tastes.
