“A big, delicious mess. That is what I expect when I order BBQ style items off a menu and that's what I received! I stopped by for lunch and ordered the BBQ Beef Brisket sandwich. It was much larger than I expected and I did my best to finish it but did not fully succeed. The meat was overflowing and the sauce got everywhere.

The sides were decent. I loved the slaw but the fries could have used a little salt.

I am in town for a few more days and will definitely be back to try the ribs and some happy hour specials.“

It’s an elevated experience for when you want something a little better than a greasy spoon diner (not that there’s anything wrong with the latter!)“

“Food, ambience and service were all fine. Background music was a bit loud and disruptive at times, at least in the bar/lounge area. Value was good for their bar menu and 30% off on certain things. Though my credit card fee was charged on the gross amount before the discount AND I was taxed on the credit card fee as well. Simply should be taxed on the food and beverage only, otherwise taking advantage of the patron.“

“Classic North Jersey/Paterson-style hot Texas weiners. Deep fried Thumann's hot dog that hangs off the warm bun, mustard, diced white onion, and topped with delicious Greek chili. Busy inside even after lunch, in a nice standalone building. Love the RC Cola and red birch beer fountain sodas on tap.“

“Omg this place is AMAZING! Definitely a new North Arlington favorite! The gentleman that makes everything are so friendly. They also accommodate you if you want to switch something for your dish. This is the second time I've been here and had the linguine garlic pasta ( they make it homemade too). The first time I only had it with shrimp. The second time I added grilled chicken and shrimp. I am obsessed!

Great atmosphere, owners, and service. Every time I come back I want to try something different but I stick with the pasta. It's my favorite!

I had the gluten free calamari and that was fantastic as well. The breading was seasoned well and it wasn't rubbery. That a must to try as well!.

My boyfriend had the grilled chicken, rice, and broccoli and everything was seasoned wonderful.

“Food was fantastic! We went for lunch and had the fried calamari, shrimp scampi and penne alfredo. Staff was attentive and friendly and brought us fresh bread with dipping oil and fritters after we were seated. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!“

“Well I just order theses French fries last night and they were burn and hard as a rock we need better older workers for this restaurant and we need better older waitress that could take the customers order and sever the customers the right order and for this restaurant we need a host for the front of the front entrance of the restaurant and we need a cashier for the front of the restaurant and we need a older dish washer worker that could handle the plates and we need older waitress that could pay attention to there job not giggly with there friends that's not working we need better workers for this nice restaurant and better older managers one in the morning and one at night to see how clean the restaurants tables are and also the restrooms and they should close the other side and keep that side only for special events. Because this is a American restaurants that we need real waitress and host for this beautiful restaurant.“

“Too bad I live out of state because this is my FAVORITE restaurant in NJ. Wonderful staff and food. Not as noisy as other places because of the decor/layout. The prices seem a little high but when you can't even finish your food - that's a good deal. The menu is phenomenal. If you can't find something to eat here then you are insane.“

“This place is so clean. You wouldn't expect it when you first walk in, but there's no dust balls or cobwebs or anything on the antiques on the walls. So impressive. The staff and owners are so polite and professional, I feel like I could do a full page review on them alone. Our waitress Lisa was a pure delight. A breath of fresh air. If you enter through the bar you get to have a "Goodfellas" moment as you pass through the kitchen to the dining room and get to greet the chef. Finally, the food. It was awesome. Had oyster (east and west coast) appetizer and octopus with delicious garbanzo beans in a really tasty sauce!! Then had a NY strip and skirt steak... both cooked perfectly for medium rare. Had a side of creamed spinach which could've been cooked a little more...and very creamy. Next time I think I will get oil and garlic spinach instead..just a preference. Shout out to our waitress, Danielle,...very attentive and gave us a piece of cake on the house to take home and celebrate our anniversary...Also invited us to the speakeasy...but c'mon it's only MONDAY??? Saw.some people enjoying mac and cheese as an appetizer...looked good, but that would have been too much for us!! No starches ordered, but they looked good.“

I noticed the restaurant itself is very clean which I truly appreciate. They were also decorated for the holidays which was nice to see!“

“I have never been an Applebees person but I went there with my granddaughter and found that the food menu is better than it used to be. I had the shrimp and sausage with penne pasta. SO GOOD…
The drinks are still a bit “weak” but they were good tasting. The service was good too considering that our waiter had a whole section to work by himself.
Overall, I enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. I will be returning again.“

When I heard DINER, I thought it was going to be the typical Diner that I don't like visiting but I'm glad that I went there because the name is deceitful! “Our dinner for four was wonderful! Food was delicious. Some had the tasting menu and others had a la carte. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and the skin was so crispy, a first for me as I've never had fish skin before. Others had the filet mignon which was also cooked to perfection. Servers were always available and very professional. We've been here several times and will continue to patronize this neighborhood gem!“

“So after being in New Jersey and going to about 8 bagel shops, I guess this is the one. So... I pull up and the first thing you will notice, parking is an issue. Luckily, people are coming and going so it took around 5 minutes to attain a parking spot. From the look of things, there may have been a parking lot in front of thee establishment before but it would seem that they decided to fill the parking lot with outdoor seating. From speaking to a patron, I understand because he told me that he always walks to the place. So on a nice day, I suppose the outdoor seating is great. You go inside and it's a small space and they have a few tables and chairs inside as well.

Inside and I'm in a line. Probably about 8 people ahead of me. I'm already thinking that these bagels must be damn good. Took about 10 minutes until I put my order in. In total I spent about 25 minutes at this spot. As I'm leaving, there are more people in line than when I got there. Just from seeing the bagels, they look soft and fresh. Just happy to have found the place. I get home and the bagels are just as good as they look. This clean bagel shop comes highly recommended and will be back! Great job guys!“

“I haven’t been to The Barn since my kids were young, but we visited Abma’s farm today for the hayride with my daughter and granddaughter and stopped at The Barn for dinner after. What a delight! The staff were so welcoming and child-friendly. I have never been anywhere as child-friendly in Bergen County. Their outside seating area is perfect for families with young children in tow. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.“
